Chapter 53: Ring Of Manipulation
It's been two months since I started to attend my classes. Alexis is really sticking too close to for so reason, but I don't mind it.
In the anti, I read so many books about Elves and I've discovered sothing really interesting. They have a sharp sense of sll. And from their perspective, humans sll the worst. The reason why they don't do any business and stay away from everyone is because they can't stand the sll of other species.
And for the sa reason, so of them are sticking so close to . But the majority of the elf population in our school is very suspicious of . I just hope they don't report anywhere.
I have four crests on my body which literally blocked everything about being a human. So, I don't have any sll on . That's why they are comfortable around . Even so elves from my class made friends with . Because I am an interesting object to them.
Hah!! I really can't stand their eyes on my back.
Viktor left the cafeteria early and went inside the library to take so rest.
"Hey, are you leaving already? What about your food?"
Beldorth Alexis grabbed his uniform because he was uncomfortable around the elves.
"I'm full."
"Then I'm coming too."
"Yes, whatever. "
Viktor looked at his book above his head and saw it was almost red. But he didn't show any sign of sickness.
So, what exactly is wrong with him?
"Hey, why are you walking slowly behind ?"
Alexis turned his head and saw Viktor walking slowly and looking at sothing.
"Oh, I ate too much, that's why I'm walking slowly."
"But you barely touched your food back then. Are you lying to ?"
"Will I get sothing by lying to you Alexis?"
He stopped walking and looked at his hand. The ring wasn't there.
Did he sell it? I really need that ring.
"Hahaha! No, I was just making fun. Let's go."
I have to find ….
Suddenly, he felt a weird sensation all over his body. His crest of record was reacting to it and it pointed in the direction of the library.
What? Another crest?
"Is there sothing wrong Viktor?"
"No, I was just thinking about sothing."
Let's go inside the library for now. But the thing is, I've been inside this library countless tis but I've never sensed anything from my crest. So why is it reacting now? Is sothing or so hidden passage opened?
This school is so mysterious from the very beginning.
So, having weird things under the school's protection isn't uncommon. I bet there is sothing really important. Sothing that is also very dangerous.
"Hey, did you co to the library to look around?"
"Did I even ask you to co with ? I was busy minding my own business and here you are putting your toe where it shouldn't belong."
Viktor was pissed off because Alexis is always following him no matter where he goes.
"Co on!! Don't be like that. We are good friends, aren't we? Good friends are supposed to stick together."
"I highly doubt that you think of as your good friend. Your motive is sothing else. Tell what you want from ."
There is a section inside the library where students don't visit. The music section is where old music scripts and musical history books are organized. Viktor went there because that was the place where his crest was indicating him.
But Alexis was the bone in his throat.
"Why are you talking like that? Aren't we friends?"
"Why would a prince bother to make friends with a commoner? Unless you have sothing to achieve from , there's no reason for you to follow everywhere."
I knew sothing was really going inside his head the first day he saw . Since the day our class started, he has followed everywhere. Even he followed to find out my address. Then he started to knock on my door, disturbing on weekends when I sleep, he's everywhere like gum under my shoe.
So, I unlocked his book and found out about him. He's the 4th prince and he's that type of person who gets what he wants. A stubborn brat and a soiled son of a greedy king.
The library was silent, but it beca quieter when Viktor addressed him as a prince. Then, a group of musicians from the academy went inside the section and saw both of them standing there staring at each other.
"Hm? Isn't this our academy's genius Viktor who scored 75? Wow, it's my first ti seeing you up close. You are really tall despite your age!!"
"Thank you senior Mu Seng."
Viktor smiled and took a book in his hand.
"You know my na too? Wow! I'm really honoured."
And then, he saw the book of a famous musician of history in Viktor's hand. He was surprised.
"Wow!!! You're interested in music too?"
"I am just a beginner. But I found this music very interesting lately. Would you mind if I co to your music club at 11 AM senior? I'd like to practice with your musical instrunts."
Viktor gave them his trap smile and they fell for it. So, they imdiately took him to their club by leaving Alexis behind. This ti, he didn't follow him.
I will see you tomorrow Alexis.
Viktor turned back and gave Alexis a deathly smile. Because his book had a small dot of green on it.
Alexis left without saying a thing.
I bet he's angry because he didn't find anything suspicious about to manipulate .. wait. Manipulate? Did I miss a page?
Viktor read sothing about manipulation in his book which was related to a ring. The ring he had on his finger is the ring of manipulation he found inside a treasure box discovered in a dungeon.
So, the ring he had in his position belonged to a guardian. Then, his crest of record found out everything about the guardian and he beca so sure that it was the fragnt of the guardian of manipulation.
But how did he unlock the seal? Isn't it supposed to be so strong and impossible to open? Or the manipulative guardian didn't lock it with any seal? He's a manipulator of course. There's no way of knowing what kind of trap he installed. But it's too dangerous to exist in a normal human's hand.
I need to check this matter very carefully. I need to find that ring before he dies.
