In another end of the dungeon, Raven was walking around mostly bored.
Crowley and her had split up and she had originally wanted to go in the direction he went in but he had told her to hold down the fort saying it would be a "learning experience", but she honestly felt like he just wanted to screw with her as he knew she wasn’t good at this kind of thing.
The mission description said that this was ant to be easy so she didn’t know what was taking him so long, he should have been back a while ago as there was no way a couple of regular inexperienced kids would be able to match him , and especially so if he decided to use his ability, sothing which players like him hardly did.
Raven was at tis hyperactive . She needed the daily amount of excitent that every psychopathic killer with her ntal condition did and would have done sothing drastic by now if she had been alone and wasn’t held up by these annoying people.
She looked to her side to look at her "companions" who she had unexpectedly t in the dungeon and had insisted she co with them saying it was so they could help and protect her but she only needed to look into the eyes of two of them to know that they were just horny teenagers. She could practically feel their lecherous gazes on her
Normally she would have killed them off without a second thought if one of them hadn’t in an attempt to assure her that she would be safe with them,revealed to be a mber of the Storm family. He was also the only one who wasn’t licking his lips every five seconds and staring at her body like an animal.
She rembered him introducing himself as Gary storm alongside his two doofus companions Darryl and Clyde.
She had gotten a bit interested in this Gary and had decided to stick around for a while although that wasn’t the only reason.
It wasn’t difficult to get them to drop their guard. She had simply lied that she was another participant and had been abandoned by her team. The two idiots didn’t seem to even listen to her excuse as they drooled over her disgustingly, sothing which she simply took in stride. Surprisingly, Storm family mber had bought her little lie and didn’t seem to really care
Strangely,they had zero suspicions about her and even forgot to check her ability level, not like they would be able to see the real thing if they tried and it was very strange that in a world where your standing depends on your ability level, these guys seed to completely forget about that and were actively helping her, however if her brother or even Zen saw this situation they wouldn’t be surprised at all.
They had been walking around for a while and had encountered a few beasts which had been dealt with by the three boys while Raven simply stood back and assessed them while not being too impressed. Their abilities were okay but their skills and experience were almost non-existent.
The only exception to this was Gary storm and even he wasn’t very impressive to her
Appearantly they were looking for so kind of... token? She wasn’t really listening to them so although she got the point, she didn’t really care for the details .
Raven had a very clear goal in mind as she walked with this group
This ti Clyde had been told to stay behind by Gary to "protect" her while they dealt with the beast which was the strongest one they had faced at this point as it took all of Darryl’s and Gary’s attention to fight
Clyde had taken her to a small secluded cave not too far from the battle but not too close either
Since the beginning, Raven had been keeping up the act of a gentle and naive girl who was nothing but grateful to them and an absolute airhead and very easy to take advantage of as whenever they acted blatantly lecherously like them staring at her ass and even sotis "accidentally" touching and groping , she would always accept it with a naive and innocent smile but all those tis and even now that Clyde was "helping" her get to safety, she knew he had lustful intentions and actually had a few plans of her own, although they might not be the kind Clyde would accept.
"Thank you for helping , you really don’t have to do this"
Clyde looked at the girl in front of him. She had mostly black and dark purple hair in a pixie cut . She was dressed almost completely in black with a pair of black pants which hugged her thighs tightly, accentuating her figure,a sleeveless black shirt which had an image of a bird which resembled a phoenix being boldly on it , and a pair of black and purple sneakers .
Her heterochromic eyes gave her face a vibrant and colorful glow which accentuated the rest of her delicate features on her practically flawless skin.
Looking at her,he suddenly noticed sothing.
He was a fire ability user but even he was deeply affected by the cold in the dungeon and had to use a few thods to keep warm, even so, he could still see his own breath ahead of him due to the extre cold, but looking at this girl, he noticed that there was nothing irregular with her breathing . She didn’t even shiver or complain a little bit about the cold despite the fact that she was wearing a sleeveless shirt.
Clyde suddenly realized sothing else. He didn’t know her na. How exactly had the three of them taken her all this way and didn’t even know her na? This in itself was strange but none of them seed to even notice .
He was about to say sothing when they suddenly heard a loud boom from where Darryl and Gary were fighting. He quickly rushed to the edge of the cave to look out and see how they were doing
Raven almost couldn’t stop herself as she saw him turn his back to her but she quickly rembered why she was here
She slowly walked towards Clyde, making no sound whatsoever. As she was almost directly behind him,her eyes suddenly darted to a dark inconspicuous corner of the cave. A mischievous smile appeared on her face before she focused back on Clyde
Clyde’s breath suddenly hitched in his throat as he felt Raven’s surprisingly warm hands on his body
"You’re cold?"
Raven whispered into his ear seductively
Clyde didn’t reply,or rather, couldn’t as a satisfied moan escaped his mouth
"Why don’t you warm yourself up. You’re a fire ability user, right?"
"I can’t control the flas, and if i keep it around for too long i could burn myself
"....as expected"
"H-huh, what do you -"
Before he could finish, raven suddenly turned him around and pulled him deeper into the cave as he followed, completely compliant
"I could warm you up if you want"
Raven said, looking at him provocativelyb
"H-huh? What do you..."
Raven suddenly put an arm around Clyde and her other hand on his thigh a little bit too close to his crotch
"Don’t worry about the other two, just focus on this and things will get hot and steamy really soon"
Clyde was confused by what he could perceive to be sultriness from Raven. All this ti she had been playing the innocent ga so although he was already planning to try sothing on her even by force if necessary, it was a little confusing to see her taking the initiative
"What are you waiting for. The first blood of a virgin is as warm as it gets,at least I’ve heard such. That should provide so warmth at least... sowhere"
Clyde who was already heavily aroused asked her
"Are you serious about this?"
Raven’s hand which was on his thigh,inched a bit closer to his crotch, only an inch short of touching it
"Oh believe when i say things are gonna get hot and steamy right now, and trust , that won’t be all. I’ve wanted to do this the mont i laid eyes on you. You have no idea how much i had to hold back this entire ti"
Raven said being a hundred percent honest with him
Clyde’s mind was in absolute chaos. She wanted to have sex with him? And what the hell did she an by that wasn’t all? What more could there possibly be.
He was so close to her he could even sll her fragrance and although he wasn’t sure whether it was his heightened arousal making him see things, he felt like he could see a faint purple mist surrounding her. As Clyde was just a few monts from laying his hands on her, he suddenly saw an insignia on her upper arm just below her shoulder.
Two pairs of wings, one belonging to an angel, and the other to a demon or dragon, both having either a halo or pair of horns over them, and the demonic or draconic wings upside down and both wings almost attached to the blade of a sword with a ga controller for a hilt.
Seeing this, Clyde’s intoxicated and lewd expression imdiately disappeared and was replaced by one of absolute terror
In that sa second bloodlust could be seen in her golden and red murderous eyes. Out of nowhere a dagger suddenly appeared in her hand
Outside the cave, Darryl and Gary suddenly heard a loud howl of imnse pain mixed with unimaginable terror. Worried,they quickly ran into the cave to see what happened. At the sa ti Raven suddenly burst out of the cave, running out of it and towards the huge beast with a confident smirk on her face
They both turned around, trying to stop her and saw as the beast which was a huge white polar bear of over six ters with ice spikes protruding from its body and large glacial teeth and claws that shone like diamonds, shot out an attack of icy winds accompanied by large and nurous ice spikes towards her
Grinning, she muttered "Flash", and the next mont she suddenly disappeared as the attack went past her location, creating humongous ice spikes and destroying the whole area
"S-stop...herrr"
Hearing the weak groan of pain that seed to have only barely made it out, Gary and Darryl turned to look in the cave and saw Clyde’s pitiful figure on the bloody ground in a horrific state
Darryl imdiately ran to help Clyde while Gary who had understood what had happened was about to look for Raven. Luckily he didn’t have to
"I’m up here"
Looking up he saw her on the head of the bear that for so reason acted like it didn’t even know she was there
A green glow suddenly appeared in Gary’s hand as he prepared to attack
"Wait! Don’t you want this?"
Raven said as she showed him shiny golden item that looked like a badge of so kind. On it was the academy insignia which was a large golden shield with an eagle perched atop it with its wings spread in a defensive manner as if protecting sothing and two two golden swords crossed like an X in front of the shield
It was the sentinel academy token
"Why do you have that?" Gary asked impatiently
"It was hidden in the cave that horny friend of yours took to " Raven answered nonchalantly
"What did you do?"
"Oh nothing, just taught him a little lesson "
".... Give the academy token and we can talk about this"
"Huh? That’s no fun " said Raven while tilting her head
She suddenly smiled mysteriously
"How about a ga?"
Raven suddenly took the token and threw it into the mouth of the bear, ignoring Gary’s infuriated gaze
"Ha! There we go " Raven said with a contented smile
"Now you have a choice to make. Pursue the past?..."
She said, pointing to herself
".... Or ensure your future "
She said pointing to the bear before she jumped down from the bear’s head and in a leisurely manner, began to walk away while speaking to Gary without even bothering to face him
"Rember! Ti is ticking. You have a choice to make and whatever you choose will determine whatever happens next.... but i guess that’s the whole point,after all , what fun is a ga if the outco is certain "
After saying this she kept walking leisurely without looking back, curious to what he would choose.
Hearing what she said, Gary suddenly got a bad feeling in his gut and his face turned pale as he contemplated if she was... one of them
Gritting his teeth, he realized he didn’t have ti to worry about such. He turned around and ran into the cave
"Damnit! If those pieces of crap were still here then it would have been one of them, and even if this happened,i could have just sent them after her "
Clyde was a high level ability user, and having one of his toughest hitters attacked had angered him. What he didn’t know was that if those "pieces of crap" were still here then this would’ve never happened
Once again, seeing the grueso scene made his anger boil as he walked towards Clyde who was struggling to say sothing.As Gary reached him, they finally managed to hear him
"A.....ar....arkkaeeuyy"
Although he couldn’t finish, they had heard all they needed to as they both suddenly felt like they had narrowly escaped the devil.
As soon as he said that,Clyde passed out
"He’ll die at this rate. Take him and find a way out, once you do, make sure to warn the academy that they have infiltrated the dungeon"
"Bu what abo-"
Gary angrily interrupted him
"Do you really think that matters now!? I’ll get the tokens so just go!!!"
A hint of disgust suddenly appeared on Gary’s face
"Oh, and take that with you"
