65 Beauty hurts
The soothing sound of water flowing down and hitting the tiles filled the silent bedroom. It was the kind of sound in the morning that cald one’s mind preparing them to face the world.
But to Zi Han, this precious personal ti wasn’t as relaxing as it should have been because he stood naked in the middle of the shower staring blankly at the shaving cream and shaving stick in his hand.
There were laser devices available to do such things but because no one had thought about buying them in advance Zi Han had to settle for this as an ergency asure. He couldn’t help but suspect this was another way for his grandfather to tornt him.
After listening to the housekeeper’s voice on how to shave using such a primitive thod, Zi Han sighed as he raised his leg and sared the foam close to his knee and lower thigh.
“The uniform has thigh-high stockings so I don’t need to do the entire leg, right?” he said staring at the foam remaining on his fingers at a loss as to what to do with it.
“Young sir, according to the tips on how to have sun kissed beautiful legs you need to shave the entire leg,” said the housekeeper AI that was connected to the entire smart ho.
Zi Han’s lips twitched as he proceeded to sar the rest of the foam on the rest of his leg. After a few cuts and missing a couple of leg hairs, Zi Han finally got the hang of it.
Since he had spent thirty minutes in the shower just shaving his legs he had to wash the rest of his body in a hurry otherwise he would be late for school.
When he walked out of the shower his legs felt weird. It was as though his leg sensitivity had diminished greatly. But because he was running late he ignored it. He hurriedly put on the skirt and white blouse before casually placing the untied ribbon bow around his collar.

Knock.... knock.
A gentle but urging knock ca from the door followed by the old steward’s kind voice. “Young sir..... your breakfast will get cold... if you have any difficulties I can co in and assist you,” said the old steward but Zi Han who was zipping up the skirt yelled back,
“I am fine. I will be out in a minute.”
The old steward retracted his hand that was on the door knob. With a look of contemplation, he hesitated to leave only to be startled by a loud bang.
“Young sir!” he yelled before he hurriedly pushed the door open. Zi Han was lying on the ground with his legs spread wide and his black underwear showing underneath the skirt while his hands were struggling to pull at the thigh-high stockings.
Old Steward, “...”
Old Lu hastily turned his body around and apologized to Zi Han’s astonishnt. What was there to apologize for? He was still a hundred per cent man underneath his skirt.
“Old Lu..... ugh, help . How do girls put these fucking things on?” said Zi Han as he lay back down in resignation like he had given up.
“Well, like they say..... it’s harder being a woman than being a man,” he said as he walked over to help him up, “Young sir, you cut yourself?”
“That’s why I have a newfound respect for girls. Not only do they have to do their hair, nails and makeup.... they also need to shave. Beauty fuckin hurts,” said Zi Han while the steward helped him with the stockings. It was as though he had received so sort of enlightennt.
“That’s not all..... you forgot they go through a nstrual period and natural childbirth,” said the steward before finishing off, “all done. Now, let’s put on your shoes. You are already running late.”
Two minutes later Zi Han walked down the stairs feeling a little awkward.
A cold stream of air swept past his thighs from underneath the skirt making him shiver subconsciously. His steps were a little clumsy but he could care less right now.
“Good morning grandpa,” he said as he placed his hand on Zi Feiji’s back before taking a seat. Zi Feiji who had been discussing with his old friends about an incoming wedding turned his head only to et the granddaughter that he never had.
“Ah, for the next three days you are Hanifa, my gorgeous granddaughter,” he said while taking a picture which he promised he wouldn’t do.
Zi Han who had been biting through a stead bun froze before hastily chewing and swallowing his food. “Grandpa you promised! Oh my god.... seriously,” he said lowering his head while blocking Zi Feiji with his hand.
“Co on..... I am just sending it to your mother. I know she would love it,” he said as the steward placed a small carton of soya milk beside Zi Han.
“Lies... Do you realise how ugly the combination of Zi and Hanifa sounds? Was that what you were going to na if I ca out with lady parts?” said Zi Han before eating the rest of his stread bun in a hurry.
Zi Feiji couldn’t believe it so he said the full na for himself, “Zi Hanifa..... dang,” and his brows furrowed.
Zi Han pushed a straw through the tiny opening of the carton and stood up while sucking on the straw. “Wait, stop right there,” said Zi Feiji as he took a couple of pictures but when he saw that untied ribbon bow he walked over and tied it for him.
He had done this a couple of tis with his daughter while she was growing up. She was never good at tying that bow for so reason.
“You look adorable,” said Zi Feiji as he took a step backwards to take another picture but when Zi Han turned around he suddenly noticed sothing.
“Isn’t it a little too short? Old Lu asure his length till below the knees so we can get another one,” said Zi Feiji only to get rejected by Zi Han,
“You chose it already. If I am going to wear this I don’t plan to look like an old granny. I want to look like a queen,” he said. It was at this mont this grandpa regretted it. Not the entire thing just the length of the skirt.
