516 “I am sorry I took too long.”
“What do you think?... Impressive, right?” asked Zi Han while his mother lay on the ground testing out the barrett caliber rifle.
Zi Xingxi looked through the scope her brows furrowed slightly. Having picked up on her target she squeezed the trigger striking her target accurately.
“Its still not as good as my armour piercing rifle but its indeed a novel experience,” she said and Zi Han rubbed the back of his neck while studying the magazine. He needed to talk to the armory chief and get them to make bullets for the rifle before they finish them.
While he was studying the a.50 bullet the door slid open and his father entered the training room. He disregarded his son’s presence and directly spanked Zi Xingxi’s butt before lying next to her with half of his body on top of hers.
Zi Han, “WTF!”
Was he invisible or sothing? Maybe he was otherwise these two would spare his eyes.
“Get off ,” said Zi Xingxi but when did Yeoh Jun ever listen to her. He rubbed her back in a gentle caress before saying, “You said you will be back in an hour but it’s been longer than that. You lied to .”
“Really? Its only been an hour and three minutes,” she said looking at him at the corner of his eyes.
“An hour is an hour,” he said and Zi Xingxi looked away with a slight smile at the corner of her lips. She turned back to look through the scope and was about to pull the trigger when her dearest husband kissed her cheek.

Zi Xingxi, “...”
“Stop ssing around or else,” she said without even looking at him.
“Or else what?” he said while smiling like a fool.
“Or else,” she said only to stop talking when she was kissed again. Zi Xingxi pressed the tip of her tongue on her canine tooth with a slight quirk at the corner of her lips. She removed her forefinger on the trigger and turned the safety on. Before she could get him he stood up abruptly while stifling a laugh. If those generals could see him now they wouldn’t believe it was the sa person. The aura was completely different like polar opposites.
Zi Xingxi got up and chased after him looking like a pair of young lovers chasing each other in a field of dandelions. Zi Han shook his head and took his mother’s place lying down.
Having all these lovers around him showing affection made his heart ache. How he missed having his baby around but it had been three days and he hadn’t heard from him yet.
Zi Han sighed as he looked through the scope. As he fired a few rounds he could here his parents bickering in the background.
Zi Xingxi was yelling sothing like, “You touch mine so I will touch yours.”
“You pervert. Where do you want to touch,” accused Yeoh Jun acting like he wasn’t the one who just smacked her ass just now.
“Do you have a fuckin mory like that of a gold fish... Hahaha, you actually think you are faster than ,” she said having caught up with him and squeezing his butt cheeks at least twice.
“Ah... Xixi. You squeezed twice and I only did it once. See what I an. You little pervert,” he said the smile on his face reaching his eyes.
Zi Han almost shouted, “Do any of you know the aning of the word pervert?” but he wisely chose to stay out of it.
Zi Xingxi dodged her husband’s grabby hands her laughter so lodious that Zi Han almost couldn’t believe it was coming from her.
“Co here. I need compensation,” he said and sure enough he caught up with her groping a couple of tis. Zi Han couldn’t see it but he could hear the playful tussle like puppies happening behind him. He wasn’t happy being stuffed with so much dog food but he was glad to hear his mother smiling unrestrainedly. If he had known she would be this happy he would have believed Yi Chen sooner.
It didn’t take long till Zi Xingxi was thoroughly subdued. Her arms were crossed on her chest with Yeoh Jun pulling them back locking them in place.
While bickering with her he pressed her on the wall their gazes locked together. “You need to be punished,” whispered Yeoh Jun and Zi Han couldn’t help glance back while saying,
“Hello, your son is still here.”
“You brat wear the noise cancelling headphones,” said Yeoh Jun and Zi Xingxi scolded,
“My son is not a brat. If there is any brat here it’s you.”
Zi Han decided it was in his best interest to put on the earbuds. After that the world fell into tranquil silence as he pulled the trigger multiple tis.
He was so imrsed in what he was doing that he didn’t realise it when the two left. Having run out of bullets he glanced back and found that the pair had left. He got up intending to reload the bullets in the magazine. While he was putting the bullets in the magazine, a pair of hands suddenly wrapped around his waist embracing him tightly.
Zi Han’s muscles tensed but he soon closed his eyes when he slt the familiar warm notes of bergamot, pepper, and amberwood.
His fingers that were pressing down the a.50 bullet in the magazine trembled slightly and he felt a sour feeling in his eyes.
He didn’t think he would cry but when he actually t the person again he broke down. Yi Chen buried his head in the croak of his neck and whispered, “I am sorry I took too long.”
He had indeed taken longer than he should have. A treatnt that should have lasted at least twenty four hours took longer than expected.
When he finally woke up the first person he saw was his father sitting at the desk while going through his dical records. He was probably monitoring him so he could report to his wife who was very worried.
