"What can we do... After all our struggles to hold on until now... are we still dood to a crushing defeat?"

Wu Xueqing’s face was ashen, and he smacked the ground in rage, his fury having nowhere to vent.

"Young Emperor of the Ye Clan, do you have anything like that ultimate strike similar to Chonglong’s?"

"No! The Light Witch God herself is present, treating those under Divine Enthronent as if they’re nothing, completely without a chance of a lower force overcoming a higher one..."

"Only a battle power of equal level can qualify to block or interfere, but is that really possible? How can a dead divine compete with those still alive? Like the Ye Clan, my Blood Witch lineage will inevitably go from flourish to decline, unable to escape the fate of annihilation..."

Wu Xuepang’s eyes revealed a despair that perated his soul, as all hope was devoured.

Ye Hanjun, sohow at the center of attention again, seed as if he hadn’t heard the inquiry, remaining silent and with a vacant stare.

He wanted to respond to his companion’s panic, but he couldn’t.

In his mind, a scroll unfolded, its images rging perfectly with what had just occurred in the outside world.

He saw the sun, a gigantic sun that propped up the sky and the earth.

The boundless light and heat enveloped the entire ancestral land, where ancient buildings bearing the traces of years were evaporating at a slow speed.

In the very center of the sun, a particularly small figure stood with eyes closed, trembling.

She was very old, for even the Light Witch Goddess, in her pri, stood just over two ters, not quite reaching three ters tall.

She was only one and a half ters tall, hunched and bent over, an image of pitiable old age.

She wasn’t adorned in a luxurious Witch’s Skirt, but was instead wearing a plain, cream-colored robe, similar to a cleric’s garb, emanating a pure and peaceful aura.

But when she opened her eyes, Ye Hanjun’s eyes overflowed with blood, feeling an overwhelming surge of light and heat enveloping the heavens and the earth. The familiar darkness and cold that had once comforted him could no longer co anywhere near his body.

"Little girl of the Cloud Witch lineage, you’ve overstepped your bounds."

The Light Witch God spoke indifferently, standing at the heart of the sun with a divine curtain accompanying her, resplendent and immortal, commanding an otherworldly majesty.

Witch Yundie, with trembling legs, finally collapsed with a thump, forced to kneel amongst a blooming blue blood flower, unable to rise from her prostration.

"Light Witch God... you... have broken your promise..."

"Our ancestor... trusted you so much... willing to entrust divinity to you..."

"But you are greedy and tyrannical... a Witch in face, demonic at heart... simply... worse than pigs and dogs..."

Witch Yundie couldn’t raise her head to look directly at the Light Witch God’s divine form.

But the piercing words she managed to utter, even at the cost of nearly biting off her tongue, echoed throughout the realm, lingering for a long ti.

"So what?"

The Light Witch God’s soft response silenced those piercing words like a gust of wind.

"How can those who are divine afford to be soft-hearted and weak?"

"Those not of our kind will surely have different hearts."

"I spared your Cloud Witch lineage from annihilation after attaining divinity, considering it repaynt of the Cloud Witch God’s kindness."

"Furthermore, do you even know where that piece of divinity originally ca from that the Cloud Witch God had?"

In an uncontrollable shivering, Witch Yundie’s body began to dissolve, from bottom to top, irreversible.

She clenched her teeth, and massive amounts of cloud-fluff surged within her in an attempt to resist, to escape.

Yet she remained rooted to the spot, as if invisible hands were pressing down on her shoulders, forcing her to listen in despair and terror to the last segnt of ancient secrets:

"During the Ancient Era, the Cloud Sea went through two epochs, ruled respectively by the Rain Witch God and the Water Witch God."

"These two were originally of the sa family, it’s just that the latter’s bloodline mutated, thus changing their na."

"The divinity of the Cloud Witch God was obtained from the Water Witch God."

"Yet, she committed an act of ingratitude, taking advantage of when the Water Witch God’s successor was in seclusion absorbing the divinity, she invited another lineage to invade the Cloud Sea, resulting in the destruction of both the Water Witch Goddess and the even more ancient Rain Witch Goddess. The Water Witch God’s successor also failed to ascend due to the distraction, ultimately having their divinity taken by the Cloud Witch God, which laid the foundation for her ascension to godhood..."

The Light Witch God’s lips moved, revealing a kind smile:

"At that ti, my Light Witch lineage already existed."

"But we were not yet a Divine Clan; the strongest among us were rely Holy Spirits, considered vassals of the Water Witch lineage. After the Holy Spirit was slain, the Cloud Witch God took the younger mbers of the Light Witch lineage under her wing, intending to cultivate a guard troop."

"Unfortunately, the Holy Spirit she had killed was my ancestor."

"It’s just a matter of one cycle repaying another, this world has always been this way, killing and being killed. What’s there to hate?"

As her words fell, Witch Yundie completely evaporated.

Simultaneously evaporating were those panicked Cloud Witch Goddesses, not one remaining, all disappearing.

This was the divine skill of the Light Witch God, where her light touches, nothing can hide; the life and death of living beings, all within a single thought.

"We pay our respects to the Witch Ancestor!"

Wu Guanglin, Wu Guangjing, and other remnants of the Light Witch bowed, no matter how gravely wounded, as a holy light descended and their witch bodies fully healed.

They lifted their skirts in reverence, vibrant and bright, so smiling sweetly, others with stars hidden in their eyes, worship reaching deep into their bones.

"Stay here, I’ll be back soon."

The Light Witch God cast a ray of divine light, and the weak Wu Guangqing imdiately restored to full strength.

She perford a slight bow, her Twelve-Winged Holy Angel retreating behind her, and in its place hovered a small sun high in the sky, subtly emitting the aura of a deity.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—"

With a casual flick of holy light and the slightest vibration, the blood cocoons on the outer layer of the Blood Witch Ancestral Land all lted away.

The Light Witch God struck across the void, and imdiately a dazzling burst of light as bright as day unfurled; a Sun God Bridge teeming with endless life radiance spanned between heaven and earth, resplendent and blinding.

At the end of the god bridge, a jade coffin enveloped in swirling blood light began to shake wildly as if possessed.
