"A grand hunt? Hunter?"
Ye Hanjun’s face was etched with trouble.
What in the world was this? Who from the clans had said this?
Eighty years had passed in the blink of an eye, and the outside world had experienced another major upheaval? They even refused to spare him, weak and sickly as he was?
"The importance of this matter ranks at the top."
"There is currently no second matter that can compare to the grandeur of the Ghost Lamp."
"Do not delve too deeply, even I have not grasped everything. Do what you must, and when the ti cos, you will naturally understand."
The Blood Witch Goddess gave Ye Hanjun’s blue cross sword a glance, her face under the misty veil seemingly indifferent.
She gently clasped her hands together, and the crisp sound of clapping rose as two arcs of rainbow light converged from a distance, swiftly arriving.
"Greetings to the Great Witch!"
Two humanoid young girls, dressed in sky-blue slit skirts, prostrated themselves on the ground, showing utmost respect.
Their faces were uncovered, delicate and pretty, brimming with youthful vitality.
But their limbs were not made of flesh; they were entirely composed of water.
Their aqua blue water arms and legs were soft and boneless, clear and transparent, rippling with their breathing.
Seeing them, Ye Hanjun felt as if he was in a bamboo forest after the rain, with a cup of clear tea on the table and a strand of flute music in his ear, the aroma overflowing.
"Take him to the Blood dicine Hall, have him bathe, cleanse, calm his mind, and nourish his body."
"From now on, you two will be his maids, ticulously caring for his daily needs without failing in any way," ordered Wu Xuelu, the Blood Witch Goddess, faintly.
"We obey the Great Witch’s command!"
The two distinct witches, known as "Light Spring Witch Maidens" from another race, responded obediently.
Then, they stood up, crossed their water arms over their chests, made a special bowing gesture, and said shyly with their heads lowered:
"My apologies to the ruler of the Ye Clan."
"Splash—" Waves churned, and amidst sparkling clarity, a large wave crashed over them.
The sturdy Goose Immortal and the light Huazhu were both swept up by the water wave, carried with incredible speed in one direction.
Ye Hanjun, the main concerned, of course could not escape, he did not resist, and was forced to comply.
After a short while, the spray of water fell, and the waves subsided.
Ye Hanjun found himself in a temple of wildly different style, planted with countless exotic flowers and fruits.
Man-eating plants, ancient vines, fire cotton trees, fragrant trees, Gold Earth Lotus...
Every flower, each blade of grass, every tree, and leaf was in shades of red, all mutated, with mutation trends related to blood, without exception.
In the midst of the pungent sweet and fishy odor, a square and upright dicinal pool sat conspicuously in the center.
The liquid it contained, thick as blood plasma and clear as jewels, flowed with iridescence, dazzling and glinting, enchantingly beautiful, captivating one’s gaze for a long ti.
"It seems I have given orders that there be no disturbances during the dicinal bath," ca a voice.
"Has a mont of peace now beco a luxury?"
In the pool, the blood waves rippled as a snow-white arm extended.
Through the steaming blood mist, the figure of a nude Witch Maiden appeared intermittently.
She turned her back to Ye Hanjun, her wet crimson hair draped over her shoulders, exuding charm and sensuality.
Her pale fingers held a blood lotus as big as a palm, and she wiped it inch by inch down her snowy skin, each motion epitomizing elegance.
"Under the command of the Great Witch, we ask for your forgiveness," said the light spring witch maidens, standing on each side of Ye Hanjun, ready to help him into the dicinal pool. They were first stunned, then shocked, and finally knelt, one covering their panic, the other feigning composure while they simultaneously tried to explain.
"Oh?"
A slightly lazy tone sounded, and not far away, a Blood Witch Goddess subrged in the pool slowly surfaced.
A dazzling white light flashed for a mont, and in a fleeting glimpse, Ye Hanjun locked eyes with a pair of crimson ones.
In those eyes, he saw a mix of scrutiny and curiosity.
"So you are the Young Emperor of the Ye Clan sent to us?"
Wu Xuepang’s eyes shimred, her slender fingers trailing over her bare skin.
Before long, the hidden blood-colored Witch’s Skirt, akin to the regal gown of a queen, redressed her body.
"Hm?"
With a flash of blood, Wu Xuebi, also dressed properly, appeared on Ye Hanjun’s right side.
She circled around Huazhu, her crimson gaze like a spotlight seeking to penetrate her inside and out.
"You’ve absorbed the power of an Innate Witch? You’ve actually beco a Blood Witch affiliate?"
"Your Highness," replied Huazhu, lifting her face, neither humble nor arrogant:
"Being new here, I was just wondering what being a Blood Witch affiliate ans?"
"A Blood Witch affiliate refers to a descendant of an Innate Witch," explained Wu Xuebi, drawing closer to Huazhu’s golden hair, greedily inhaling her scent:
"Since you are a contract subordinate to the Yushi Clan, you should know."
"We, the Blood Sorcerer Clan, are born supre saints, and there are very few of our purebred kin."
"We absorb weaker Witch Clans and Alien Races with attributes close to ours to act as vassals."
"Among these beings, only a few with exceptional bloodlines and luck have the chance to be recognized as inheritors by the Witch Ancestor."
"Once they bear this mark, they are no longer servants, but ’distant relatives.’
"Apart from periodically enjoying the baptism of our clan to improve the benefits of rank advancent,"
"In the future, if there is no clear direction for natural evolution, they may attempt to evolve into an incomplete Blood Witch Goddess."
"Incomplete?" Huazhu looked sideways, curious.
"At the sa rank, they would be slightly weaker than us purebloods," smiled Wu Xuebi cunningly: "But that’s only relatively speaking."
"Compared to other Supre Saint Embryos, you are a Divine Trace Lineage, with Heaven-reaching mystic thods, naturally invincible."
"In other words, my future now has an additional direction?"
