GuaGua could not unravel the key point either, simply believing that the treasure Grandpa Tiandao had given it was certainly no ordinary object and should be cherished. One day, the principle behind its operation would beco clear.

Ye Hanjun pressed his finger against his brow and rubbed it several tis, looked down at a spot an inch below his left shoulder, and frowned deeply.
As they delved deeper into the tomb area, it wasn’t just GuaGua’s treasure that suddenly signaled alarm; even Mo’s Contract Marks lit up, ready to awaken at any mont.
What exactly is this place, why does it feel like all the powers I possess have beco mysteriously unsettled since coming here?

Ye Hanjun, with his eyes closed, suddenly opened them and broke out in a cold sweat on his back.
He "saw" it, right in that empty space, there was a triangular tombstone, as if smithed from crystal, exceedingly clear.

The vivid color appeared freshly cut from a living being, with plump fat and an enticing aroma, making Ye Hanjun’s mouth water with desire.

Ye Hanjun swallowed and hurriedly stayed away from the tombstone.
He could not guess what curse might befall him if he accidentally shattered it, being unable to see it.
He only knew that if he couldn’t remove the curse in ti, his fate would be much worse than simply losing his eyesight.

GuaGua whispered into Ye Hanjun’s ear, using Secret Technique to transmit its voice.
Just when they had already moved thousands of ters away, the invisible crystal tomb shook, the tombstone shattered, the ritual bowl overturned, and the blood-red at began to wriggle violently, expanding, expanding, until it turned into a fat, hairy monstrous insect that burst forth from the earth with a bang.

Ye Hanjun inwardly sighed with relief at the close call.
It was too far away for him to bother identifying it.
Instead, he urged the Chira cubs to speed up, at all costs to avoid letting the blood-red monstrous insect lock onto their position.
After a few terrifying seconds, the trembling earth settled, and it seed the insect had burrowed deep underground, not heading towards them.
"Is that insect the overlord here?"
"It doesn’t seem like it to ; it feels more like a small soldier along the way, serving to block and guard..."
Ye Hanjun’s spirits fluctuated; upon careful consideration, he began to entertain thoughts of retreat.
Before coming here, he had been full of righteous fervor, feeling that all was possible.
But having traveled this short distance, he had encountered unknown dangers, each more terrifying than the last.
If it were Imasurable Void Pull or Imasurable Small Achievent, perhaps there would still be a chance to struggle.
With the current predicant so thorny, and not having yet reached the deepest part, monstrous creatures of Endless Great Accomplishnt were lurking.
If they really got to the source area, what kind of threat would be waiting there... wouldn’t he be just delivering himself up for slaughter?
