"Ah, grandfather, what’s happened to you?"
Full of curiosity, GuaGua began to interrogate from a distance.
In his heyday, Ye Yin was indeed old, but he at least possessed a pair of eyes.
Now, his white hair mixed with gray, he could no longer stand upright, his life’s fire flickered precariously, threatening to extinguish at any mont.
What disaster had befallen him to leave him in such a dire state?
"This is not a place to talk; co inside quickly."
Ye Yin, cocking an ear to listen and discerning the direction, gestured with a wave, urging them in with a particularly hoarse voice.
"Baa!"
Lion Head, not recognizing Ye Yin, showed great interest nonetheless.
With a light tap of its hind hooves, it turned a dozen face-roaches creeping on the ground into at patties.
"Pop!" "Pop!" "Pop!"
As if playing a ga of stepping on shadows, Lion Head went from being delighted to tireless.
The little strong creatures panicked and fled, rolling about like waves of black tide, one layer after another.
"Yang Xiaoqi, stop being naughty!"
"Be careful, or the roaches might crawl into your ears while you’re sleeping!"
GuaGua turned around and tried to scare him.
"Baa~~~"
Lion Head, not understanding, appeared innocent.
In its perception, these little creatures were like ants on the ground—although more tenacious, they had no other notable traits.
Should it really need to be reminded that it can surely kill such small things with a few more stomps?
"Hiss..."
Taking advantage of Lion Head’s mischievous distractions, Snake Head swallowed dozens of face-roaches in one breath.
Obviously, compared to deford monsters, these roaches were crunchy, and quite a delicious snack, one bite at a ti.
"Shoot, these are GuaGua and GuaGua’s children; be careful, or they’ll co after you!"
GuaGua quickly transford into Ye Hanjun’s lookalike, clutched the python’s head, and prevented it from gorging itself.
We’re here to visit, turning this place into a self-service canteen right away is hardly fitting...
"Ssh ssh ssh..."
Two giant roaches, each over fifty ters long, poked their heads out from behind the hut.
They stood one on each side of Ye Yin, like guards with swords, never leaving his side.
Behind them, the soil churned as countless face-roaches erged, swiftly piling up into a tower. A faint earthy sll mixed with the stench of old rotting corpses created a stronger, more pungent odor.
"Ugh..."
Snake Head, having the most sensitive nose, acted as if it was about to vomit.
Ye Yin showed a trace of surprise and tilting his ear, asked,
"What creature is this? Such a vigorous fluctuation of vital energy."
"GuaGua and GuaGua are rarely this fearful. This is not from the Heaven and Earth Stage; it must have reached the Unlimited Foetus level..."
"A offspring of a Supre Saint, a Chira cub."
Ye Hanjun explained, then asked in confusion,
"You’re not only blind but also your perception has dulled?"
"Not entirely." Ye Yin shook his head and slowly walked into the hut.
As Ye Hanjun and his group all entered, the roaches outside ford the shape of a palm and, with a bang, shut the door.
"It seems you’ve had your own miraculous encounters these past years, to be able to subdue the offspring of a Supre Saint, and one as sowhat renowned among the wild beasts as a Chira at that."
Ye Yin sighed lightly, a mix of emotions swirling within him, and felt a sense of lancholy.
"And you, why are you here? What have you encountered these years?"
Ye Hanjun stared into the hollow sockets of Ye Yin, noting his wrinkled face, every inch of his skin exuding fatigue, and faintly realizing that his current state was extrely weak.
The most likely cause for a ’miraculous survivor’ like him to be in such condition would be repeatedly invoking ’Miraculous Disassembly’ twice in a short period.
"My experiences, dull and simple."
Ye Yin abandoned his mixed feelings, turned towards the moldy bedding, and sighed softly,
"Enter the Tomb of Asura, and I don’t even know which layer I arrived at."
"All in all, in an extrely short period, I passed through falling space fissures repeatedly. It wasn’t until I finally stabilized that I found myself here."
"To directly drop to the 15th layer..."
Ye Hanjun, surprised, frowned slightly, reconsidering the issue of good and bad fortune once more.
Despite possessing the sa authority, why did it seem Ye Yin was unluckier than him?
Could it be, having GuaGua by his side, subtly diminished so of the disaster?
"Upon arriving here, the number of tis I’ve invoked Miraculous Disassembly has exceeded five."
"Due to inadvertently triggering a curse, my eyes were gouged out alive; I’ve tried countless thods to no avail.
"Let give it a try!"
GuaGua believed its Skills to be more potent than any curse and instantly perford ’Super Purification’ three tis.
But this ti, it really backfired. Super Purification couldn’t dispel the death energy in Ye Yin’s eye sockets, and the ’Instant Healing’ that imdiately followed failed to regenerate any flesh.
"How can this be, my assistance failed?"
GuaGua seldom encountered such situations and felt slightly disheartened.
"I once obtained an eight-thousand-year-old ’Bone Fruit’; with flesh white as bone, theoretically, no matter how severe the injury, as long as one held a breath of life, it could heal hidden injuries in the body and fully restore any missing parts."
"But after I consud and refined it, there was no movent at my eye sockets."
Ye Hanjun seed to understand and speculated,
"Which ans the curse you’ve encountered far exceeds the current status level."
"Even the eight-thousand-year-old dicine wasn’t effective, it’s likely only a Supre Level healing-type Holy Beast could potentially restore your sight."
"I wonder if I’ll live to see the day." Ye Yin lanted, "If it were just simple blindness, with my sense perception intact, I could tolerate it."
