"Forget it, a forced lon isn’t sweet."
"Is it just a piece of music? Sounds pretty boring, nothing interesting."
"You dumb iron goose!"
GuaGua transford into Ye Hanjun’s appearance, making a funny face and teased:
"It’s clearly you who can’t make heads or tails of it, yet you have to find an excuse to wiggle out, how embarrassing!"
"What nonsense are you talking about?"
Goose Immortal wasn’t embarrassed at all and said proudly:
"I’m always straightforward. These andering tunes really don’t sound good to ."
"And you, little guy, aren’t you exceptionally gifted? How co you didn’t get it either?"
"I don’t want to listen."
GuaGua, transford as Ye Hanjun, tilted his head, tapping his temple, slightly bewildered:
"My head is pounding, I can’t calm down."
"Hehehe, I knew it!"
Goose Immortal spread his wings, showing off his glossy black tallic feathers, and declared confidently:
"In this epoch of chaos, extraordinary beings like us naturally sense the oppressive force in the Nether."
"Don’t panic, if the sky falls, the Human Master will hold it up for you; if he can’t hold it, my broad wings are more than enough to shelter you, little guy."
"Pfft! Shaless!"
"I’ve grown up now, I can protect myself!"
GuaGua turned his head away, not wanting to deal with the boastful iron goose.
"Humph!"
Goose Immortal, unfazed, puffed up his chest and looked around proudly.
"Hm? Mo seems to have gotten stronger; my heart pounds furiously as soon as I get near..."
Goose Immortal subtly changed color, cautiously approaching, but had to keep his distance as patterns climb onto his webbed feet.
"It’s no use... I have to ascend too!"
"Been stuck at the Perfection of Annihilation for a while now, how co Ye Liuying hasn’t broken through yet? She’s the only one left!"
"Iron goose! Be quiet!"
GuaGua picked up a stone and threw it at the iron goose’s head; the stone broke, and the iron goose’s head was unscathed.
"How many tis have I told you, call Goose Immortal, iron goose has no class at all..."
The muttering Goose Immortal finally cald down after causing a ruckus for a while.
He continued to sleep; the sky could fall, and the earth could split, but nothing could reduce the quality of his sleep.
However, when he awoke the second ti, nothing much had changed in his surroundings.
Absolute String was still playing the violin, and the bored GuaGua was squatting on the ground, drawing.
"Ah... how troubling."
He sighed deeply, then flew to a corner of the room and pounded his wings against the wall to vent all his physical strength.
After smashing it ten thousand tis, the wall bore no scratches, but his wings were torn and battered, wounded once again.
"That feels better! Sleep!"
Goose Immortal didn’t seek treatnt from GuaGua, he buried his head into his wings to block out the sound of the violin, then fell asleep in a second.
The third ti...
The fourth ti...
The fifth ti...
By the sixth awakening, the Stone Giant woke up first.
Goose Immortal was overjoyed and dragged the Stone Giant to spar.
After beating the Stone Giant to the ground, the energetic Goose Immortal silently returned to the corner and started pounding the wall again.
...
"Goodness... at least a month has passed, these folks can sleep even more than I do!"
"And Absolute String, maintaining a skill for so long, doesn’t it get exhausted or ntally weakened? Such a freak!"
By the eighteenth awakening, Goose Immortal pounded his own head with his wings, making thumping sounds.
"This place is a pilgrimage site for the Dark Elent, clearly Mr. Big is more suited to it than us."
The already awake Huazhu was clear-eyed and sharp yet reserved.
She floated in mid-air, GuaGua using her hair as a slide, sliding over and over again, still finding it entertaining.
"Eh? Looks like she’s about to wake up?"
Goose Immortal suddenly turned his head, staring intently at Ye Liuying.
A pair of pitch-black wings stretched out sharply, and under the flow of light feathers, a great amount of mist surged from the darkness.
The earth thundered loudly, one evil beast after another started running wildly, entwined in the black fog, their true forms hazy and unclear.
They charged fearlessly, and as they neared Ye Liuying’s position, they changed direction, beginning to circle around her like so ancient ritual dance, at tis with laughter and joy, at tis with piercing shrieks.
"Swish, swish, swish!"
Pair after pair of white eyes, responding to the summons from the Nether, appeared above Ye Liuying’s head.
They numbered in the hundreds, as dense black rays burst forth, and at the very center, Ye Liuying let out a light cry, her eyelids trembled, and she finally opened her eyes.
"Crack!"
A crisp echo resounded as the Wings of Night on Ye Hanjun’s back shattered completely, the luminous fragnts scattering everywhere.
But not only did he not bleed, a more ferocious power surged inside him.
Once a gray sun appeared on his forehead, an Ancient Stone Gate appeared behind him, engulfed in brilliant starlight, flashing star rings, and shooting teors... various celestial phenona interwoven together temporarily dispelled the darkness.
"What a mysterious aura... Who is breaking through?"
In the deeper darkness far away, pairs of eyes laden with the traces of years suddenly opened, instinctively searching for the source of the disturbance.
"Shh."
Ye Qi placed his index finger at his lips, and as he teleported step by step outward, his soft voice echoed through heaven and earth:
"Just a minor accident, stay calm."
"The Clock of the Era will toll in just over a year. Since you all are awake, you might as well warm up a bit to loosen those stiff joints, so you won’t be of no use when it matters."
"Besides... there’s a young girl nad Yu Ruoxin who plants flowers and grass on your graves every day. You must have seen her too."
