"Rustle~~~"
An orange-yellow beam of light fell upon him, extrely warm.
The unease and confusion lingering in his heart gradually subsided, and the situation seed to return to control.
Ye Hanjun looked up in surprise. There was a lamp overhead, and the fla shaped like a cat’s paw, extrely unique.
It was huge, indistinguishable from the planets he had just seen, rooted in darkness, spectacular, mysterious, beautiful, making one want to get closer.
"This is the ’lamp’."
"Due to so reasons, it temporarily died. We moved its remains here, and it can serve as a light source for the ti being."
"Temporarily?"
Ye Hanjun subconsciously asked, still not finding the speaker.
"Hmm, according to calculations, it has a ten percent chance of resurrection, whether it can succeed depends on its fate."
Under the large orange-yellow cat paw lamp, a small white deer kicked its hooves, treating the void as flat ground, leisurely walking over.
GuaGua’s eyes imdiately widened, staring at the all-white deer, excitedly almost jumping up:
"Ancestor?!"
"How can you be smaller than my true form, did you use so transformation skill, or are you just this small? So cute!"
"Little one..."
The white deer stopped, a hint of annoyance in its wise eyes:
"Honestly, I’ve endured you for a long ti."
"Am I that old? You insist on calling ancestor? Can’t you think of another title?"
"Then... Sister Jing?"
GuaGua’s mind was active, his little brain spun, blurting out.
"That’s acceptable!"
The white deer showed a teachable expression, about to praise a bit.
In the silent darkness, a large brush sprinted over, dotting the void, painting a huge "shock" character, seemingly with blood flowing.
"Net, be more mindful."
"You’ve been an old demon for over four hundred thousand years, and still sister, it makes my scalp tingle!"
"What, you have objections?"
The white deer glared at the brush, its raised chin and threatening gaze, incredibly oppressive.
"Naturally... No!"
The large brush’s tone shifted, circling around the white deer while earnestly saying:
"Look, I seem to be born a few seconds after you."
"Would you agree if I called you sister?"
"Scram."
The white deer lifted its front hoof, forcefully kicking, making the large brush jump and beg for rcy repeatedly.
"..."
Ye Hanjun and GuaGua entered a petrified state in tacit understanding.
It seed that the ancestors from the Nether Ancient era had so childlike innocence.
They were completely different from the imagined high and aloof stance. Even transcending the Outer Heaven World, they still had deep bonds between each other, their mutual affection unbreakable.
"Enough, this kind of ruckus, what kind of propriety does it show?"
A twisted light mist slowly flew over, instantly forming a human shape, surprisingly identical to Ye Hanjun.
Ye Hanjun faced it directly, feeling like he was looking in a mirror, quite subtle.
"I am ’Illusion’."
The mirror Ye Hanjun nodded, straightforwardly saying:
"I invited you to the Outer Heaven mainly to let you understand sothing."
"Haven’t you been puzzled, why don’t we wish to return to the lower realm to personally stop ’Calamity’ from wreaking havoc?"
"It’s simple. First, our descent will only burden the lower realm and accelerate its destruction."
"Second, we don’t have much attachnt to the lower realm. Although born there, our origins are different, and the desires in our hearts differ."
The mirror Ye Hanjun expressionless, paused, then continued in a matter-of-fact tone:
"Heavenly Venerate in the Ancient tis wanted to rule the lower realm, while we Nether Ancient beings only wanted to know why the Ancestral Star declined, and why send us to survive in the Otherworld."
"Ancestral Star?"
Ye Hanjun noted the new keyword.
Thinking back to what he saw and heard in the Illusion Realm, he tentatively asked:
"Is it where you were truly nurtured, before gifting your Origin to the current world?"
"Hmm."
Illusion nodded, with a thought, an orange-yellow beam of light shone afar:
"We call our origin world ’Ancestral Star’."
"Since reaching the Outer Heaven, we’ve been searching, found clues during the Near Ancient Era, and in the New Era, we found it, right here."
Listening, Ye Hanjun glanced around, suddenly feeling a chill down his spine.
That warm light spread endlessly, a path of eternal light instantly paved forward.
In the final darkness, a shattered star seed to be scattered, shining like diamonds.
"This is the Ancestral Star, already destroyed."
Net approached, leading Ye Hanjun and GuaGua onto the light path, a slightly lancholic expression:
"The Ancestral Star was far more prosperous than your world, at its peak, like the gap between God above God and Holy Beast, a vast difference."
"Currently, there are two theories: one is that an earth-shattering battle broke out, the Ancestral Star was forcibly destroyed."
"Another theory is that the Ancestral Star’s lifespan ended, transitioning from extre prosperity to extre decline, with so remaining Origin fleeing, and so taking us as bloodline seeds to explore other worlds for new habitation."
Ink snorted, sluggishly saying:
"We lean more towards the latter."
"Clues suggest the remaining Origin split into at least five parts. There might be similar beings like us in other dinsional spaces."
"But, the term ’Outer Heaven World’ is too broad."
"Finding the Ancestral Star was incredibly difficult, discovering other life-bearing dinsions might take tens of thousands or millions of years, whether we can live that long is unknown, excessive expectations are prone to disappointnt."
