=====

Sli dungeon is the most unpopular C-rank dungeon but for so reason, the academy hasn't been able to clear it. The rest of the dungeons are kept intentionally but this one is here because it can't be cleared for so reason.

Eric didn't even go near this dungeon in the novel, so I ca here completely out of knowledge and solely relying on information I gained myself.

But I know what kind of monsters slis are. Slis have acidic properties and mostly, they are harmless unless they are exposed to flesh for a long ti. If it is for a short amount of ti, then it is fine.

As for why it is unpopular, well, that is because even though it doesn't harm flesh very fast, it does lt clothes very fast.

The clothes lt as soon as they co in contact with the mucus of a sli hence the reason why my three companions right now are treading so carefully even though I have assured them a hundred tis that the clothes slash suits they are wearing won't lt by acid.

"Are you really, really sure?" Laura asked again for the umpteenth ti and my reply was the sa, "Yes."

"Ahh…" Laura's yelp alerted .

"There, there." She frantically pointed in a direction from where a blob of mass was moving towards us.

If one concentrated in the middle of that blue goo, there was a yellow stone visible. A nucleus of the sli. Also, a sli's only weakness.

But wouldn't one say that it is very easy to kill it if all one needs to do is destroy that stone in the middle? Then what is so hard about it?

Well, that is because it moves. The outer layer, the mucus slows down the attacks and in that ti, the stone moves from its spot.

They are however weak to fire and if ice is used, they can be frozen on the spot so the stone doesn't move inside. In other words, fire and ice are its most optimal weakness.

Of course, if a very strong attack of any elent is delivered from a high-ranked person, the sli would altogether pulverize from existence.

I turned to look at Laura who was acting like she had seen a cockroach and the other two weren't doing so well either. One of them is supposed to be a healer who sees blood and the other is a whole rank higher than the sli.

"Seriously…" I was speechless at these girls. One was a villain, one was a cold-blooded killer and another was the strongest saint in the novel.

'Magic bullet.' I simply shot the sli in the core. Since my bullet was manual, it made the worst enemy of the slis. Considering their numbers, it would at most take one MP recovery potion and I would be easily able to clear this dungeon with my MP for one shot per sli.

[You have slain a sli]

[You have gained 10000 EXP]

[You have gained 10000 coins]

[You have gained a sli core]

Another reason why this dungeon was unpopular was because there was nothing to be gained from here. Destroying the stone slash core was the only way to kill a sli. Sotis, when you are lucky enough, you can get an intact core which sells for quite so price.

It doesn't apply to though. I have a miraculous system that would grant items unique to whatever I kill except for humans of course.

"Is… Is it dead?" Laura cautiously asked while she grabbed my shoulder tightly.

'What will I do with this girl?' I thought inwardly while outwardly, I could only sigh.

I was just thinking that when soone grabbed from the other side as well. Surprisingly, it was Rose. I was expecting it to be Alicia, whose face looked full of regret like she had lost a great chance of a lifeti.

Well, sorry but I only have two arms.

"Is… Is it safe, Your Highness?" Rose asked monotonously. Even an idiot could tell that although she hates slis as well, she wasn't afraid of them like Laura. She was just taking her chance.

"It's safe." I still replied and shook my head. I am here to train them so what the hell are they doing?

=====

"Wrong! You again stabbed. I told you to slash." I yelled at Rose like a military instructor. "And you! What are you doing? Get closer to it.

Put more mana and power into that whip and strike harder."

Laura wasn't even getting closer to the sli. It had been half a day and we were still on the first floor of the dungeon. The dungeon had three floors and the boss resided on the third floor. If they go with this speed, we are going to be here for quite a while.

"But… But…" Laura tried to defend herself but I wouldn't let her be so lax. "No arguing! Put more force into that strike. Use mana to change the trajectory mid-strike and, target and control the whip's head from inside the sli."

As for Alicia, she was doing surprisingly well. Her weapon of choice was a pair of gauntlets and her strikes were significantly backed by power.

Her hits would outright flatten the entire sli and once she realized that the mucus wasn't harming her clothes, she picked up speed like crazy.

[Your party mber Rose is now Level 201]

Monster.

[Your party mber Laura is now Level 107]

Understandable.

[Your party mber Alicia is now Level 142]

What a surprise.

I for one thought that Alicia's level would be lower but seeing as how she is handling a C- rank monster so easily despite being a D , she was fairly talented herself.

As for Rose, although inexperienced in a practical battle, she was sharpening with each passing mont. She would never repeat the sa mistake that I would point out again.

"Your legs are too wide open Rose, that will lengthen your moves. Also, plant your feet firmly on the ground. if your base is not strong, anyone can push you off your feet even if they are lower in rank than you." I guided and with the next sli, Rose didn't make that mistake again.

[Your party mber has slain a sli]

[You have gained 10000 EXP]

[You have gained 10000 coins]

[You have gained a sli core]

That would make about a hundred slis yet it barely made a dent in my exp. I wasn't going to level up very fast on this floor. The good thing about these slis was that there were thousands of them on one floor.

[EXP: 8700000\\13000000]

I am wondering what to teach Rose though. I know she is talented enough so should I go with a high-grade technique? If so then would the 'crimson assassin' suit her best or the 'shadow fiend'? Or…

A terrifying thought crossed my mind. I couldn't help but entertain the thought. She was talented enough so maybe she might be able to pull it off. I decided to leave it for later.

Overall, our hunt is going very well. I don't even have to step in. If there is one disaster, that would be Laura who would yelp and scream if a sli would even get slightly near her.

She doesn't look like it, but right now she is looking like a perfect spoiled princess. I guess I should also start with her training in darkness.

I decided to leave these matters for after the test. For now, I am hoping that they should level up as much as they can. Because unlike , they don't need to rely only on Exp to level up. They can level up as long as their stats or techniques increase.

In other words, any and every kind of improvent can help them level up. I sure do feel jealous.

[Would you clear this dungeon?]

'Of course not.' I replied to Allison's question. The slis multiply at an extrely fast pace. In just one week, the dungeon would again be overflowing with them so I could hunt them again. These will be my primary source of experience until the limitation of the 200th level.

======

[You have slain a sli]

[You have gained 100000 EXP]

[You have gained 10000 coins]

[You have gained a sli core]

For so reason, although the Exp gain had increased, the coin gain didn't. I don't know why and I won't waste ti wondering. The slis on the second floor were C in rank so their hunt gave an extra zero in the Exp gain and that is all that mattered to right now.

[Exp 9,000,000\\13,000,000]

Good. At this rate, only killing 40 more slis would allow to level up. And considering there are thousands of them on this floor, I will level up more than only a few levels.

The problem would arise at level 150 where an extra zero would be added to the Exp requirent but that would be solved when I also go up a floor.

All in all, this dungeon was a blessing for . The Exp gain alone was sothing and when I would add the coin gain, I should have just co here before rather than wasting my ti selling potions. But that was necessary to announce my presence to the true powers of the world. But to make sure they don't try to use , I need to keep everything in balance while increasing my own strength.

"How long are we going to do this?" Laura whined as she tossed and turned in her sleeping bag.

[Defense device of Argon

Cost: 1000000 coins]

It was a bit expensive but considering just killing a hundred sli would get the coins back, there was no need to lant on it.

To sleep peacefully, I had set up a defensive artifact so that no slis would interrupt us. I wanted to hunt more but as soon as I killed one sli, Laura made a fuss about being tired and I had no choice but to stop there for the night.

"Just sleep. We will be here until Sunday. More if necessary. No matter what we have to clear this dungeon." I replied while keeping my eyes closed.

"Do we have to?" She childishly whined. I had to admit, it was kind of cute.

"Of course we do. Slis are slow and perfect targets to hone your skills." I replied. And they are also good for farming but I refrained from saying that.

She couldn't find anything to argue with that so she grumbled like a child and stopped her whining.

As for Rose, she was tired since she was doing most of the physical tasks and also she doesn't have a skill so although her mana was unused, her physical exertion was purely physical, there was no mana involved to curb her tiredness. She was also the reason that I listened to Laura's request to rest so easily. Rose was out as soon as her head hit the pillow in the sleeping bag.

Alicia was surprisingly fine. Although she had also killed the slis with her fists and physical exertion, her control of mana and skills gave her an advantage in that term so she didn't tire so fast. Even now she had enough stamina to keep moving.

"There are slis gathering around us," Alicia spoke after a while. I turned my attention and saw that there were a few slis outside the shield.

There was nothing I could do about it. If no attacks could enter the shield, then none could go out as well. I would have to step out of the shield myself and then kill them all.

Negating the shield even once didn't cross my mind because doing so would also dispel it once and for all. The shield would last for a day so removing it sounded like a waste.

"It's okay. No matter what they do they can't enter the shield." I replied. Alicia wasn't that worried in the first place so she simply nodded and said with a smile, "Good night then."

"Good night." I also replied with a smile and shut my eyes. The next ti they opened, however, a surprise was before . A pleasant one.
