Zap!!!

A big thunder landed in an alley, just before a building that was on fire, and the person who erged from it was none other than Andrew.

Andrew looked at the scene in front of him, fire spreading, people screaming, people hurt and so having undetermined fates, he couldn't think of what to do when he saw Chris and his party, hurt but alive.

He then looked at everyone. Everyone was hurt but everyone was alive as well. No one was killed.

Andrew once again burst into lightning and appeared before another scene where the fire was screaming in terror and people were screaming in fear.

The destruction was sothing Andrew had never seen in his life but not one life had been lost. Andrew couldn't help but feel the power still in the air. It was the power he knew he would never be able to stand against.

He didn't like the usage of that power like this but he also desired that power. The power to stand unparalleled.

To be so powerful that no one in the world could decide your fate.

He clenched his fists in determination and burst into lightning as he disappeared into thin air once again.

{Today evening, a series of explosions shook the entire New York City}

{the source of the explosion hasn't been found and the police have no definite answer at the mont}

{But what I can tell you is that the targeted sites were the gathering points of several criminals in NYC}

{No life was lost and with a few minor injuries, no signs of casualties have appeared}

{Also the police have found several incriminating evidence against so residents of the building and those illegal activities have been brought to light due to these explosions}

Gabriel sat in his office, working on so files and listening to the news. He had just returned from wreaking havoc across the city but the way he acted looked like he just returned from an evening stroll.

"You know; we may have to redefine our boundaries if you creep on your children like that." Gabriel all of a sudden to no one in particular.

"Impressive," However, there was soone in the room and it was none other than the black-haired man, otherwise known as Gabriel's father.

"Ten minutes and seventeen seconds. Last ti it took you three more seconds to detect ." The man said with a smug smile.

"Yeah, well, three seconds doesn't make much of a difference to ." Gabriel wasn't the least bit happy about that praise. The man was sitting in his office for ten minutes and it took him that long to sense him even with his eyes.

That alone spoke volus of the man's strength. Gabriel was sure of one thing. The man was a wall he would never be able to cross so easily no matter how many years he was to spend in the fragnts to improve himself.

"Don't sell yourself short, son. I was seriously trying to hide this ti." The man said before he looked at the T.V. and said, "However, you have certainly lost your touch. Or is it like a welco present for your brother?"

"I didn't kill them because there was no need to do so." Gabriel said before he added, "Mom still has ties to NYPD. She wouldn't like it if I were to make things difficult for them."

"Oh, buddy. Your Mom wouldn't give a rat's as* about them. She resigned a long ti ago to look after you. She wouldn't choose them over you." The man said.

"…" Gabriel remained quiet.

The man smiled and said, "So co up with a better excuse next ti. That one was pathetic."

Gabriel remained quiet about that and asked about sothing else, "You know how they got up, don't you?"

The man smiled and said, "Of course, I know everything that goes into this building."

"Then did you allow them up?" Gabriel asked.

"Nope. I wasn't the one to call them and I sure as hell wasn't the one to let them up." The man said.

"But you didn't have them stopped," Gabriel said.

"Of course, I didn't." The man smiled and added, "Why would I? You both obviously have a lot to work out."

"What did Aliya see? About Andrew. What did she see?" Gabriel asked.

"No clue. I asked. She didn't say." The man replied.

"And you didn't push?" Gabriel asked.

"She used the Mom card." The man replied.

Gabriel understood. If there was one person his father feared, then it was none other than his wife. And his wife had a favorite child. None other than Aliya.

So even his father had to step back and let it go. Of course, he was intrigued, but he also couldn't push and if he couldn't push, then Gabriel, who was all the more scared, could never even think of pushing.

"Then why are you here?" Gabriel asked.

"To see why my son is losing himself." The man said.

"…" Gabriel remained silent. No word left his mouth as he just looked at his computer screen and kept his gaze fixed on it. The man smiled seeing that and said, "Find yourself, son. Before it's too late."

Saying that the man disappeared into thin air, never to be seen again. Gabriel, on the other hand, was left thinking about the words of the man.

"Thank you, Julie," Andrew said with a smile and Julie also smiled in return. Andrew looked around before he leaned in and slightly pecked Julie on her left cheek which left her blushing.

"Andrew~" She playfully reprimanded him before she hurriedly left.

As for the third person in the room who was witnessing all of that with his eyes wide open, he couldn't believe what was happening.

"Unbelievable," Gabriel said.

"What is?" Andrew asked.

"Since when has this been going on?" Gabriel asked.

"Well, I followed your advice and now, we've been dating for three months," Andrew replied.

"Three months!" Gabriel exclaid before he asked in a loud voice, "How co I didn't know about it?"

"Well, we wanted to keep it quiet," Andrew said before he added while looking away from Gabriel, "Besides, I didn't know what to do about it."

"What to do about what?" Andrew asked.

"Look, I'm new to this. I don't know what should I have done. Keep it secret or go public with it. Many in the building still don't like and I didn't want that dislike to spread to her so I did my best to keep it quiet." Andrew explained his reason for not telling Gabriel, not knowing that that wasn't what Gabriel was astonished about.

It was more of a fact of how he missed that for three months.

"Haa… Fine. Whatever." Gabriel said with a sigh before he asked picking up his glass of milk, "So? How do you two intend to go forward with this?"

"I intend to propose her," Andrew replied.

"Phoo!!!" Gabriel spilled the contents in his mouth when he heard what Andrew had just said.

"Wh-wh-what?" Gabriel asked with a great stutter.

"I'm going to propose," Andrew said while making a disgusted face at Gabriel.

"Into three months of dating?" Gabriel asked.

"Yeah. Anything wrong with that?" Andrew asked.

"…" Gabriel remained quiet with his mouth half hanging in the air.

"I'm thinking of proposing to her on a helicopter ride," Andrew said.

Gabriel's mouth widened.

"Or maybe on an airplane ride. You know, the private jet you gave ." Andrew said.

Gabriel's mouth opened further.

"Or maybe of Eifel Tower," Andrew said.

Gabriel's mouth was wide enough to fit a baseball.

"Or may----"

"Enough!" Gabriel yelled, interrupting Andrew before he said anything else.

"Stop! Stop before you make it any worse." Gabriel said. Before he settled on the couch.

"Why?" Andrew asked because he couldn't understand what Gabriel ant.

"Okay, ignoring the fact that you're proposing to her after just three months of dating, your ideas of proposals are nothing but idiotic," Gabriel said.

"What? It's romantic." Andrew argued.

"On TV! In real life, that's the straight-up definition of an idiot." Gabriel yelled.

"Oh really? How many tis have you proposed to be an expert?" Andrew asked.

"17055." Gabriel said before he added, "Zero rejection."

"Phoo!!!" It was Andrew's turn to spill when he heard Gabriel's claim. And the worst part was that he knew Gabriel was telling the truth.

"So take it from soone who has done it thousands of tis before. Girls like it straight to the point. Get a ring, get on one knee, and ask with complete and total honesty." Gabriel continued to give his advice but that wasn't what Andrew was focused on anymore.

He suppressed the millions of questions in his mind before he asked, "How many tis have you proposed in this world? Not in the fragnts."

"Once," Gabriel replied, his tone a little evasive this ti.

"Who?" Andrew curiously asked.

Gabriel stood up and left while saying, "Do what I said. Be honest. Girls don't like fairy tales when it cos to the biggest decisions of their lives."

With that, Gabriel walked out the door and Andrew could only see his retreating back while one question circulated in his head, 'Who?'
