As a fireball made its way towards , I ducked and ran to my right only to use the 'celestial guard' to protect myself from the onslaught of the arrows.
The physical fighters were staying back and protecting the long-range attackers so that was a less headache but the problem was that the long-range attackers weren't running out of juice. Nor were the skeletal mages running out of mana and nor were the archers running out of arrows. I didn't know how but whenever their quiver would get emptied, the arrows would magically appear in it again.
I used 'Magic Cannons' to attack them whenever I could but the physical fighters were ready to deal with them. Either the ones with the shield would block them or the ones with the swords would slash at them. The drawback of 'Magic Cannon's' speed was showing greatly in this exchange.
But, I finally had everything I needed. The mages couldn't cast any other spell than fireball. The archers didn't have any sort of spell cast on their arrows so they were just simple arrows empowered by dark and corrupted mana. It was now ti to get rid of them.
The strategy I was going to use for them was the classic divide and conquer. The mages and archers were nothing without the physical skeletons so once I had them separated, the rest of the battle would be very easy.
Of course, the risk factor was also involved but it was ti to take this battle seriously.

Shadows encompassed the entire cavern, enveloping the skeletons in it. Because I didn't have enough MP and was short on ti, without wasting ti, I dived into the shadows and ca out from behind the group. They could feel hurriedly prepared to attack . I, however, was also fully prepared.

Since I was already very low on MP thanks to the shadow skill, I couldn't afford to use any other skill even for a little bit. This small dive, a fast slash at about two to three opponents, and then a dive back in to get far from them was all I could manage with my current MP.
Also, I had to do all this in less than seven seconds because the way my MP was going down, I would not be able to get away from them, and given the difference in our physical stats, I would be very quick to die.
There was only one mage and four archers. Other than that, there were seven physical fighters bringing their number to a total of twelve. In the given tifra, along with my target the mage, I could only take one more with and I decided on the nearest archer. As for the rest, all I had to do was move away because even I had a trump card hidden.
Without further ado, I slashed at the mage and with just one attack, shattered its skull. Since my dagger was imbued with life energy from my abdon, it was much easier to kill these hunk of bones otherwise, they don't die easily.
Just as the skull of the skeletal mage shattered, I slashed at an archer closest to as well. By now, two archers had completed their preparation and unleashed their arrows at . Deciding to take the risk, I used my arm to block the one I couldn't dodge and sand back into the shadows, leaving sothing on the floor.
The holy bomb I left exploded just in ti I appeared on the other side and my shadows were cancelled due to low MP.

Just one arrow and I had lost almost half of my HP, around forty percent, and I couldn't help but shiver at the thought of what could have happened if the arrow was just seven inches to the right. The arrow not only pierced my arm but also pierced my ribs. I was very lucky to survive so I made the most of it.
Seeing that the skeletons were still affected by the effects of the holy bombs, I didn't waste any ti replenishing my HP or MP and just jumped at them. I slashed my dagger relentlessly because I knew I wouldn't have enough ti. These holy bombs were made for B rank monsters, the effects of these A rank monsters would be very low.
And just as I had expected, by the ti I was about to finish, the last skeleton blocked my slash with its sword.
Seeing that it was faster, stronger, and better than in every way, I jumped back while I also consud a health potion because the pain was becoming unbearable.
By the ti my health was replenished, the skeleton was already one . I hurriedly consud an MP potion but it was too late. It slashed at with its full power and I had no choice other than to block it with my dagger.
Unfortunately, that didn't help much because my dagger broke under its assault and shattered to pieces but it slowed down the attack just enough for to use 'Celestial guard'.
Of course, it shattered as well but it was enough ti for to move out of the way along with leaving another holy bomb on the ground. The bomb exploded and at the sa ti, I used magic cannons relentlessly until my MP ran out.
I finally stopped when I received the ssages of EXP. But my gaze went to the first ssage.

I couldn't feel my left forearm and hand. My HP hadn't lowered strangely but this strange effect had taken effect in its place and there seed to be no redy for it except for waiting it out for ten minutes.
I then finally turned my attention to the good news.

This was pretty much a bumr. I wanted to increase my MP but there was no artifact available in my budget in the shop. Still, I decided to give it to the person who was very low on mana and talent and I was sure Max would do well with this ring.

Thanks to the runes, my stats were coming along very nicely. However, given that I would only be facing strong enemies up ahead, it wasn't that helpful to . Still, I gritted my teeth and bought ingredients for the holy bombs from the shop. The estimate I had given Volan for clearing this dungeon was by tomorrow noon. So I needed so cheat items to get through this dungeon.
But given how difficult it was, it would be fair to say that using these items was quite a bit fair.

It was great to find out that I obtained a crystal of wisdom every ti I slew a skeletal mage. However, all the items I obtained from them worked on mana and I had none of it. Still, they were useful, just not at the mont.
But, my luck truly ended at the mont I reached the end of the first floor and before I could assess the situation, sothing hit and I was suddenly flying back into a wall with massive pain assaulting my body.

While I healed, it arrived in front of . There were still about two ters of distance between us when I decided to ignore everything and used all the magic cannons in my arsenal at it. With it being this close, the speed of the cannons didn't matter. What mattered was how effective they would be.

Thanks for stating the obvious. While it was still covered in a cloud of dust after the massive hail of magic cannons, I dropped about ten holy bombs at its feet and ran away.
Sounds of consecutive explosions sounded behind but I didn't turn to look at the extent of the damage because my gut feeling was telling it wouldn't be much and I was proven correct when sothing passed at a great speed and blocked my only path to escape.

Ten bombs and that was the extent of damage on it. I didn't let it stop and once again threw all the magic cannons at it. Once again my MP was depleted but unlike earlier, it didn't remain stationary, a hand appeared from the dust cloud and grabbed by the neck.

Almost 1600 MP worth of magic cannons making them about 320 cannons yet this guy only lost about three thousand HP. Other than this, I had no other skill in my arsenal that was as destructive as this. 'Shadow Verse' was useless due to its massive consumption, and Eclipse would have no effect on it since it was already an undead.
While I consud an MP potion and explored my options, it raised its fist and brought it straight down into my stomach. I let go of its arm that I instinctively grabbed when it grabbed by the neck and brought them in front of its strike.
It worked but at a great cost.

My left forearm arm that was in front was separated from my arm. The forearm bone broke from the middle and the fist continued, shattering my right arm and the montum from that one hit sent across the room once again, in the opposite direction from where I was trying to go, and my head strongly hit the back of the cave.

My breath felt heavy and my vision was completely gone. Yet these damn notifications still covered my vision. I could see no option out of this. Unless, of course, the two helpers of mine decided to intervene. I knew Allison wouldn't because she was bound to certain actions, but, there was one more person.

I asked as the notifications inford of my MP status. I could feel my life waning away and HP reaching zero even though I couldn't see anymore.
