"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!?" Morosal scread as an intangible wave of mana emanated from his body that was enough to crush down the entire building and kill everyone. Fortunately, I had a fairy godmother on my side.

Another, more enormous wave of mana emitted from behind , targeting the mana of Morosal, canceling it way too easily as a roaring voice soon followed, "ARE YOU DONE?!!!"

Mana began to condense around the first elder and I was sure, one shot of that and Morosal would be swimming in fire soon.

"I believe that is enough." I calmly said, turning to the first elder. Morosal wasn't a threat, it was the first elder. Now that I have shown my dear guests what their reactions could bring, they would surely be very, very careful about their next moves because if they weren't, the consequences wouldn't just end with their deaths.

I an, the old man was a few provoking words away from barging into the elven territory and killing all of them down to their last kind. They knew that too hence why Natasha hurriedly spoke, "Morosal, sit down. NOW!"

"Let us not get hot-headed and blow this out of proportion, shall we?" I said, acting like a diator.

[When you're the cause of this]

'That's a different thing.'

"Now you know the consequences of your actions so I recomnd you watch your words next ti. And you can also tell your queen\\sister why her life has been cut back a century." I said to ange--- I an placate Morosal.

Morosal begrudgingly sat down. "Now you know I don't like threats so take another approach," I said once more when things had cald down a bit.

"You shouldn't have done that," Natasha said with nothing but coldness on her face.

"Natasha~," I said with a lovely tone before my expression turned even colder than hers as I picked up the next vial, "Do you want to be the second reason your queen dies next year?"

She tensed up but I was more like going to show her, her place, hence, "Answer !"

She inhaled as she replied, "No. I apologize." Her fists were clenched and there were slight trembles coursing through her body indicating her anger. Yeah, she was anything but sorry.

"Then shut up." I coldly said as my gaze moved from her to her necklace, the green pendant, "Let's deal, you and ."

For a while, there was nothing but silence when a voice fell into my ears, "What do you want?"

To be honest, I wasn't in the mood to elongate this issue. I obtained nothing by annoying them, not even amusent. So, I decided to cut to the chase.

"Your family's treasure, the world tree's spiritual essence," I stated my demand.

"You're insane." She replied. She wasn't the only one who was flabbergasted. The rest of the people in the room were taken aback as well.

"I may be but you don't have much of a choice. Your empty threats won't work and you cannot bear the mark of the traitors. But you cannot afford to die as well because the next Queen isn't ready. Let know if you have any other choice." I stated my points and they were simple enough to understand. And when I ntioned the word traitors, Natasha and Morosal's expression changed quite drastically.

"It seems you know sothing we never thought you would." The voice from the amulet replied. I wasn't in the mood to answer so I curtly asked, "Do we have a deal or not?"

"We do. As you said, we don't have much of a choice." She replied to my proposal to which I simply nodded and said, "Then you have three days to deliver. You will get your potion then. If I don't get what I want in three days, I will destroy this vial so make sure you have it before then. Now leave." I said as I pointed at the door for all of them to leave.

I had another headache to deal with now. The first elder. Although for now, I will sohow stall the issue The elves felt offended but I didn't care. They left and I made my way to the first elder, "I know you have a lot of questions but now is not the ti to answer them. Please wait for a while."

Although he seed grumpy, he didn't say anything and turned to the second prince, "Stay here. I need to head back." Lucius nodded and the first elder turned to , "I hope you know what you are doing. That is all."

I simply nodded and he left. To be honest, I was feeling quite tired. Ever since my soul was damaged, the exhaustion would catch up with quite fast and stamina potions weren't helping much anymore considering how much I had used them.

I headed to my room and without a care for anything in the world, entered deep slumber, letting drowsiness take over .

"So, the elves wanted sothing Adrian had?" Orion asked when Rafael returned.

"Not just sothing. He has a potion that can increase the life span of an elf by a century." Rafael replied which halted all movents from Zarden and Orion.

"Then we shouldn't let them have it. You know what will happen, right?" Orion said. He had expected both of them to readily agree with him but none of the two said anything.

"What?" Orion asked, feeling there was more to this than he thought.

"Adrian seed to have everything under control. Besides, it seems he needs sothing from the elves. Sothing, that we all know of but know nothing about." Rafael said.

"What?" Zarden curiously asked.

"The world tree's spiritual essence," Rafael replied. Both of them now understood why Rafael was in Adrian's favor. There was no way the elves would give sothing like that up. Possessing the essence of the world tree was the sa as being the saint of the world tree. The saint could contact the world tree to harness its power, but no one other than the saint could do that.

However, if one possessed the world tree essence, one could tap into the power of the world tree for a short amount of ti.

"However, isn't that only a theory?" Zarden asked, knowing full well that humans had never been able to use sothing like that before so there was no information about it as well.

"Theory or not, he must know sothing about it or there must be another reason behind it but he sounded sure of his decision," Rafael replied.

"Still, I think it is too dangerous to let that annoying woman live. The peace treaty ends in two years and she dies in a year. We can do a lot more if we use this to our advantage." Orion stood by his point. He wanted to use this opportunity but for so reason, both Zarden and Rafael didn't agree with him.

"I think we shouldn't involve ourselves in this. There must be a good reason behind all this." Rafael replied, then he glanced at the corner of his room as Bayren entered the room with a sword on his waist, "Besides, we already owe him very much for that."

Orion couldn't help but admit that part. If not for Adrian, obtaining that wouldn't have been possible and the church would have succeeded in its plan.

"How was it?" Orion asked Bayren as he took his seat.

"Addicting. Thirteen out of fifteen people went mad and the two that survived were no better than dead. But it did what it was supposed to. It did the impossible." Bayren reported while putting the sword on the table in front of all of them.

"So the only problem that stands is the wielder?" Orion asked.

"I'm not sure a wielder for this exists," Bayren replied.

"So we have to ask him then. Since he knew how to find it, he must know how to use it as well." Rafael suggested.

The rest of the people consented and agreed to this decision. "Let's hope there is soone who can use this. If soone can, the empire would undoubtedly beco the superpower of the world." Orion said as he stared at the purple sword with dents and scratches on it. The sword didn't look sharp at all.

No one seeing this sword for the first ti would believe that it managed to cut through an SSS rank weapon even when it looked like it couldn't cut through a tomato.

"You are not going to do it, are you, my queen?" Natasha respectfully asked even though the woman sitting on the throne wasn't higher than her in status. They were both equals but Natasha respected the queen like every other subject.

"There is no other choice, Natasha." Julianna Woodgreen, the queen of all elves replied. Her ears were even longer than other elves signifying her status as a high elf than a normal elf.

"Besides, he knows about the alliance and he wasn't afraid to ntion it so boldly." Julianna said and slightly mumbled under her breath, "Not to ntion he is dangerous."

Natasha was aware of the bridge and the artifact system. Soone who could kill another person even inside an artifact was nothing short of dangerous because it was the sa as going against the natural law of the world.

"All the more reason why we shouldn't give him the power of the world tree." Natasha relayed her worry, afraid that Adrian might beco even more dangerous than before.

The power the world tree held was massive. On par with the gods. The essence of the world tree would allow a person to tap into that power for a short period of ti. Natasha could only use a small amount of power yet she was so strong. She couldn't even imagine what soone would beco if they could wield that power to its full potential.

"You don't have to fear that possibility, Natasha." Julianna quelled Natasha's worry with a smile but Natasha wasn't so convinced.

"Haa…" Julianna sighed as she stood up from her throne and gestured for Natasha to follow her. Natasha did, curious about where she was taking her.

After trekking through the entire palace, they arrived at the treasury of the elves. Julianna signaled the guards to open the door and both won entered. Julianna placed her hands on a pedestal and the pedestal began to slowly disappear into the ground before another pedestal arose from the ground, taking the place of the previous one.

There was a vial which Natasha knew what it was, the world tree's essence. But she was curious about the scroll beside it.

"Here. Read it for yourself." Julianna said, giving Natasha the scroll.

Natasha took the scroll and opened it up. She read through it and after a few monts, her eyes widened and realization dawned upon her.

"Is that why you agreed?" Natasha asked, astonished by the foresight of her queen.

"Yes." Julianna replied before she added with certainty laced in her voice, "No human can ever wield the power of the world tree. They would die. Only elves can use that power just like that special potion."

Back at the Lux villa in Bellator City, Alicia entered her room, exhausted and sweaty. The training regi she followed under Adrian's guidance was taxing for her but she still followed through.

Although she hadn't seen Adrian the whole day, she knew he was busy so she didn't disturb him. She was a little angry that he hadn't spent much ti with her except for training.

She sighed as she tried to ignore this topic and opted for a refreshing bath. She took off her gauntlets and then her pendant. Lastly, her gaze fell on the bracelet on her wrist. She hesitated and debated internally whether to take it off or not. In the end, she decided to take it off.

Once she took off the bracelet, a massive change began to occur in her. Her skin began to glow slightly, even smoother than before. Her skin color also improved by a lot. Her hair began to turn golden from black and her eyes began to turn green. Her beauty had gone up a notch. By a lot of notches.

"Haa… they're still very pointy." But the biggest change that occurred was the change to her ears. They were now longer and pointier than even the elven queen.
