After the five of them happily ate dinner, they went back to their chambers with their manuals to practice.

Since there was still so ti before nightfall, Oscar returned to his room and took out the teaching book given to him by master Oberon.

Although the Basic Knowledge of Magic and Detailed Explanation of Magical Elents was a basic teaching book, it looked very thick because it covered a wide range of fields.

The whole book was in the semblance of modern paper size, with a thick hard leather cover, and the corners were hollowed out with exquisite gold embroidery. The center of the cover was also engraved with a golden hexagram pattern.

After opening the book, the first few pages were the title of the book and so general things, and then flipping forward was the table of contents of the whole book. He learned from the catalog that the book was divided into three categories.

The first category was the history page, which started with the origin of humans and dreads, and roughly described so historical events on the parts of the humans and dreads.

It contained the contents of the peace agreent signed between the two races, thousands of years ago, to promote the peaceful correlation between the two races.

The second category was the basics of magic elents. It first explained the origin, formation, discovery, attributes, harnessing, and utilization of magical elents, and then explained so basic common sense in harnessing ether.

The third category was the simple application of magical attributes. It was divided into ten chapters according to tal, wood, water, fire, earth, wind, thunder, light, and darkness.

Oscar turned to the Light attribute chapter and began to read.

The light attribute is mainly based on healing magic. Because of its healing effect, it is the nesis of the darkness magic attribute.

It can heal most damages caused by the darkness magic, as well as damage caused by other magical and physical attributes. If used in conjunction with the healing power of water magic, the effect will be better.

In terms of attack, only a few skills of light magic have a certain degree of attack power. But for the dark-attribute refiners and magic users, any light-attribute magic is damaging.

Powerful light-based healing magic can even bring huge damage to dark-attribute users, but it is not aggressive to refiners of other attributes.

Oscar flipped through the pages one by one, followed by so explanations on how to use the light magical skills. Including so applications, such as light orbs, light walls, and the cohesive application of the elent.

It also included different healing skills for injuries from other attributes. But they were all relatively healing of minor injuries and pains, whereas so serious injuries required higher levels of healing magical skills and essence power to overco.

Oscar hastily flipped through the pages. He planned to read the chapter on transformation, but it was already dark at this ti.

The moon was rising from the east like a silver plate in the fastness of endless darkness, expelling the power of light to the depths of the west.

He imdiately put away the book, sat on the straw mat and began to harness ether. The faint green light of the moon continued to vaguely streak into inside the chamber, and then slowly enetered his body.

Slowly, more and more green dots of light appeared inside the chamber. To the eyes of advanced refiners, small green lights could be seen outside the house converging towards it.

"Elder Calder, do you know where this skill cos from?" From the sound of the voice, it was obvious that the person who asked the question was Oberon.

Since last night, Calder discovered the strange phenonon that Oscar had in his thod of harnessing ether, and he had since observed it twice.

The scenes had been appearing during twilight period of the night sky. Sa for tonight, the phenonon reappeared.

So, the cleric elder called out Oberon using the skill of sound transmission.

After Oberon observed for a while, he frowned deeply. Although the ether harnessing skills of various schools in the whole continent varied, they were all practiced during the day or at night. None was registered to be practiced at this hour.

With his decades of research and extensive knowledge, he was erudite and talented, but he had never heard of any kind of harnessing skill that could be practiced exactly at the twilight period. And judging from the sight that Oscar's room produced, it was clear that he was harnessing ether.

Everything was different, especially these ether spot lights. According to the records in the book, only master refiners with strong perception of the ether could activate a small amount of them when their power base reached the gold level at the least.

This kind of refiner who could induce visions in refinent only appeared occasionally in this world.

Only those refiners with a high perception of ether, who were masters in their fields, who could control the power of ether. A powerful refiner such as this boy, Oxcar.

But he was just a young boy, and a novice, who had only ford his essence crystal not more than two months ago. He was only a copper refiner. And there was a huge difference between copper and gold levels.

"No matter how high his perception of the energy of ether was, it should be impossible for him to mobilize so much ether as a copper-level refiner, could he?" Oberon rummaged through his mind, but he didn't have any clues that could explain this phenonon.

No wonder the boy's essence value was as high as ninety three.

"There are so strange things about him. Things that beats my reasoning." When Calder heard Oberon's question, he shook his head and answered. "His perception of ether must be related to his affinities. I think they complent one other. I'm afraid there must be a powerful magus behind all these, probably a fanthomless mage."
