The silence of the hospital room was deafening. Buji lay on the bed, staring at the glowing ssage hovering before his eyes.

He felt a rush of curiosity to click open the inbox and read what his fitness stats was going to display. Before then, he delayed having a rethink of all that had happened to him right from the dungeon.
The system had pulled him back from the brink of death, nded his broken body and enhanced his agility. But the absurdity of everything gnawed at his mind.
One mont, he had been in a featureless, enclosed space fighting a humanoid figure made of light, and now, he was back here in the sterile comfort of a hospital room.
The blue notification blinked as if demanding his attention.
"Alright," Buji muttered with a hoarse voice.
He clicked on the notification and it revealed what it concealed.

Agility: 90/1000
Endurance: 7/150
Healing Factor: 4/150
Cognitive Response: 80/1000
Strength: Strength determines physical power. The amount of force the player would be able to exert. The player has gained a strength that is above average for humans. anwhile, he still needs to improve in order to level up easily.
Agility: This feature takes care of the speed, precision and reflexes made by the player. With this recent enhancent, the player's agility is nearly double that of a peak level human athlete.
"Exactly. I had made the right choice," Buji said, scrolling to see other stats information.
Endurance: This feature asures the player's ability to withstand physical strain, pain and fatigue. This ans the player could push his body harder and recover from exhaustion faster.
Healing: this feature has given the player the ability to heal faster than expected, and recover from illness at a faster rate.
Cognitive Response: a high cognitive response ability will help the player to process information, strategize and make decision within seconds and with precision. Just like agility, it will assist the player in making quick decisions. This feature also has a bonus of intuition skill, thereby giving the player the ability to dictate danger beforehand.
Buji studied the stats carefully. It wasn't just the increase in the numbers that intrigued him, it was the implications behind them. These stats quantified aspects of his body and mind in a way he hadn't expected.
The agility feature stood out to him the most. His recent enhancent had pushed it far beyond the limits he hadn't expected.
He was always called sluggish with his dealings, but with this agility feature, he was going to be proving them wrong.
"Just, what kind of monster am I becoming?" Buji muttered to himself, giving out a low chuckle.
As the information settled in his mind, Buji couldn't help but marvel at the complexity of the system.
"If this is it, soon, that will be that," he said and lay his back on the bed.
Since he had all the ti to himself, he decided to do a little studying. He summoned his acquisition feature.
"Acquisition."
And the screen appeared above his head. Showing the three acquisitions he had earned upon awakening the system.
He clicked on the SEA and another field appeared on the screen where the information contained in the book will be displayed.
Buji looked out of the window and noticed it was becoming dark.
"Can't the information be co as an audio?"
Then, he saw an audio tab at the base of the screen. Atop the screen, he saw the search tab. He decided to make use of the two tabs.
"Search… Information about all that has happened to ." As the system searched and displayed what he had asked for, he clicked on the audio button and two option popped up.

"Mind audio."
He closed his eyes and crossed his hands above his head to pay close attention to the information he was about to get.

The room seed to grow colder as Buji absorbed the information provided by this system. He had taken a risk, honestly. But it was going to be for his own good.
He rembered the illusion when he was at the blink of death. The old white-haired man, the dragon king, had warned him that he needed to complete the mission.
Even, the man acknowledge that he was a great one.

'Do I get any reward at the end and completion of this so-called mission?'
[The player will earn after each raid he undergoes. He should have been provided with his account details which he can use to perform transactions.]
[The system will also provide daily and weekly quests for the player to help him level up and beco stronger.]
'It's enough. I'm getting bored already with all these information.'
Then he heard the shutdown sound in his mind, and opened his eyes.
It was already very dark, and he needed to sleep. But then, the system chid, presenting Buji with a new notification.

The player is expected to complete the daily quest to avoid any penalties.
"Penalties?"
[No physical penalty. A score will be deducted from any of his stats feature and this can cause a diminish in the player's abilities.]
"A score? That's 20 straight points?" Buji asked, but the system ignored him and continued.
[There will also be a reward for every quest completed.]

Buji looked at the wall clock by his side. It was already 12:30a.m.
"Damn. I've got to sleep, it's already too late."
He turned his head away from the screen which disappeared and he, travelled into the sleep world.
