Chapter 624 - I Am Sorry, I Didn't Realize It
Warehouse Yard, Trinity.
Fla could be seen burning in this place from far away. One of the exits had been utterly destroyed a while ago. People were still wondering what the cause of the incident might be. But, the fire was soon brought under control by people of the Business Houses. It certainly was done very quickly, and the fire departnt didn't have any chance to move in for help.
Hence, the ruckus died down pretty soon.
It didn't cause any suspicion among any people as the place held a lot of valuable stuff, and it could go up to several digits. A fire in such a place was obviously devastating. So, it didn't co as much of a surprise for the people that had controlled the situation on their own this quickly.
"Find her at all costs! Spread around and search every nook and cranny! " Neo roared in anger. He really was pissed now. Not only did they allow her to cause such a big commotion, but even let escape after that.
"And you..." Neo turned his head to look at Anya standing there with a calm look on her face. "How could you just allow her to leave like that?!!"
"Calm down, it's not like she is getting away, is it?" Anya smiled as she looked at him. She seed to be calm unlike him. "Not to ntion, she is just at the early stage of the expert tier and heavily outnumbered. There is nothing that she could do."
"But-"
"Do you not understand what I say?" Anya's voice turned a bit icy.
Neo looked at her with a frown on his face, but didn't dare to go overboard with her. She wasn't soone he could offend. She was after all her father's lover, not his mother though.
Anya had been the one to infiltrate the Scarlet House, and get the artifact out. This was one of the reasons that Neo had been given a preference over the possession allowed to carry the artifact outside with him.
"Tell your people to be on the lookout, there is another person within this place who saved that girl. And, increase the guards around the jamming formation. We don't want them contacting any people outside."
Neo looked at her and nodded before informing his people about it??? .

On the other side…
Erina lifted her face which was all covered in dirt, two streams of blood had co down her nostrils. It was evident that the fall had hurt her.
"Who in hell-"
She was almost about to scream in anger when a hand ca on her mouth, and another wrapped around her stomach as she was pulled behind one of the vehicles.
She obviously tried to struggle, but it soon died down when she heard footsteps accompanied with voices closing in her direction.
Those people were certainly looking for her.
The person holding her suddenly threw a cape over them and oddly everything outside was visible from inside. It was transparent. At least it appeared to be so from inside.
A mont later, the footsteps ca to halt right in front of the car.
Erina couldn't help but gulp as the arms around her tightened. And, she was further pulled into the person's embrace.
"The sliding marks end right here. The two of them must not be far from here. Search around." A person spoke, and the next instant the footsteps could be heard dispersing all around the place.
Erina felt sweat sliding down her forehead when one of the n began to move towards them. He ca circling around the car to see if anyone was around, and Erina's eyes t with his.
Her expression imdiately darkened, and she was read to attack when the person behind further tightened his grip preventing her from moving. Erina had no idea what was going on. She honestly felt that there would be another clash, and a test of survival. But, for so reason, the man just continued to walk as if he had never seen her.
'Could this be…' Erina touched the transparent cloth and instantly realized what it was.
An Invisible Cloak.
A product which had suddenly started to trend after the recent competition and she knew soone who used it pretty well.
She imdiately turned her head around to see who the person was and as expected. It was soone she was familiar with.
It was Axel.
''Why are you here?'' She asked him with a complicated look on her face.
Axel still had that grim look on his face as he looked around trying to see if it was safe to move or not. As for her question, he just casually replied to it, "I am here to see you die."
"Are you sure you are doing the right thing then?" Erin gave him a stare.
"Sigh!" Axel shook his head, before speaking with a helpless expression on his face, "I am just too kind. I can't help it, god has made like this."
Erina's face twitched as she looked at him. She couldn't understand why this guy could not speak straight with her.
"Hmmn?" Erina suddenly seed to notice sothing as she looked below. And, her face imdiately turned red.
"Y-You!! Where do you think you are touching?!" She imdiately began to struggle, but it only worked to her disadvantage.
Axel suddenly seed to realize it as well, and imdiately released her grip around her.
"I am sorry, I didn't realize it." He apologized but his words really made Erina'a face turn dark.
She couldn't help but grind her teeth in anger. This was literally an insult to her.
What did he an he didn't realize it?!!
She had a well-developed figure!!!
Erina grabbed his collar and glared at him. The two were still tightly stuck to each other. If others were to look at the two, they would definitely think of them as two love birds. No one would think that the two were fighting.
"Co on, you don't need to be angry. A girl's appearance is not everything about her," Axel said in a righteous manner. He seed to be truly being truthful, his expression showed that those were his heartfelt words.
But, Erina's face got darker on listening to it.
"You are on my side aren't you? Or do I take you as my enemy?" Erina asked in a threatening manner.
Axel could feel Erina's hand heating up. It would definitely burst into flas if the temperature kept rising. And, he definitely didn't want to run around naked in the cold night.
"Mam, please. We are on the sa side. Let be honest, my earlier words were all false. I was just too embarrassed to admit in front you. But, your size is the best, hell I love them. So, would you mind letting my collar go?" Axel looked at her with a forced smile.
That obviously didn't help Erina at all. But, it definitely made her aware that the two of them were on the sa side.
In the end, she reluctantly let go of his collar.
Axel finally sighed in relief.
Erina suddenly lowered her head. With her body finally relaxing a bit after coming out of combat mode, she was beginning to feel tired.
Not to ntion, the appearance of Anya had really shot up so major questions in her head. But, there was nothing she could do in her current situation. Hell, she even had to depend on soone else to save her ass.
"Why are you getting lost in thought? Hurry up, we will need ti to find our way out." Axel urged her as he got up, and pulled Erina along with her as the two changed places frequently.
?Where the f*ck are you?!!?Axel ssaged Wilson once again.
?Get so help!! The situation might be a bit too much for you to deal with!?He further warned him about it.
But, there was no response from the other side.

In another part of the city..
An elderly woman could be seen walking into one of the abandoned factories through the empty streets of the district. This place would usually go silent after 7 in the evening as it was under reconstruction. And, the workers would usually stop their work around that ti and pack to leave.
The elderly woman looked around the place in a suspicious manner. She looked like a thief from her behavior. But, that wasn't it. Her body suddenly began to change shape, and it turned into that of an extrely charming and beautiful woman.
This woman seed to have a bit of resemblance to Lesia. She was like a mature version of her, and it was the truth.
She was indeed the Lady of the Barnes Family, Lesly Barnes.
As for Lesia Rex, it was her stage na when she used to perform. Lesia ca from tweaking her first na a bit, and Rex had co from her maiden na Irex.
"Why did he call to et here at such a strange place?" She frowned looking around.
It definitely didn't look like a good place to hold a conversation.
