Shi Feiyang used the Golden Flower on the Nine Heavens Yuan Yang Ruler to protect Situ Ding, yet it only preserved his life without completely isolating the demon fire. Divine Gun stirred the Dan Qi and spewed out fierce flas, enveloping Situ Ding and the flower together.

The intensely burning flas were extrely hot, making Situ Ding’s exposed skin on his head, face, and hands unbearably painful to roast. Nonetheless, he managed to concentrate his will and, following the thod whispered in his ear by Shi Feiyang, directed his Primordial Qi to attack the cold poison previously infiltrated into his marrow by the Cold Flood Dragon. He then stimulated the cold to counteract the heat.

The process was naturally excruciating. His body underwent an internal and external clash of cold and heat, leaving his muscles, bones, and mbranes either numb or sore, which was worse than many mundane tortures.

However, if he could endure to the end, not only would the cold poison in his body be eradicated, but he would also refine and absorb the demon fire, thus stimulating his physical capabilities and enhancing his Primordial Qi.

Shi Feiyang had a tough upbringing and firmly believed that "the sword’s edge cos from sharpening, and the plum blossom’s fragrance from the cold." Whenever he faced difficulties and setbacks, he strived to transform them into a driving force to empower himself.

Back at Dinghu Peak, he took the Scraping Immortal Pill, endured the excruciating pain that others couldn’t withstand, and passed the death-defying trial. Later, after learning the "Chi You Three Disks Scripture’s " Great Technique of Cultivation, he beca even more convinced that this world is inherently fraught with crises and disasters. If one couldn’t endure such pain and punishnt, they didn’t deserve to live but instead should die clean.

When he saved Huang Zhang in the North Sea, he directly broke Huang Zhang’s leg and then reconnected it with Spiritual dicine. Now, to help Situ Ding expel the cold poison, he set up such a situation. Whether Situ Ding could withstand it depended solely on his own efforts.

If Situ Ding couldn’t persevere and sought help from Shi Feiyang halfway through, he would use the Golden Flower to transport Situ Ding dozens of miles away. Although he would be out of danger, the cold poison within his body would remain, and the heat poison from Divine Gun’s Dan Fire would invade his internal organs. Even if he sought treatnt from a famous physician, he would likely not live beyond a year.

If Situ Ding endured to the end, not only would the cold poison be completely eliminated, but he would also strength his Primordial Qi and his muscles and bones as if almost undergoing a transformation. In the future, at the very least, he could achieve immunity to both heat and cold, and the limit of his Mana could potentially double.

Shi Feiyang had high hopes for Situ Ding and believed that he could make it through unless truly unable to endure any longer, in which case there would be no regrets.

Situ Ding suffered excruciatingly amidst the cold and heat while Shi Feiyang controlled the overflowing lake waters with the zither below.

Emperor Huang’s Golden Talisman and Yu Treasure Tripod were indeed of the sa lineage. As he used them more, he felt increasingly smooth. The sound was clear and lodious, the light from the Treasure Tripod shone brilliantly, and the water was gathered faster. In less than the ti it took to finish a cup of tea, he had collected all the water from the heavens and earth into the Tripod.

Divine Gun was spitting fire to burn Situ Ding, believing that this young man’s Mana was limited and the Golden Flower beneath him was on the verge of collapse. Just a little more effort, and he would be able to burn him to ashes. His Yu Ding had been stolen, and his inner core had been taken; his heart was filled with rage to the utmost degree. He thought that he had to kill at least one of the opponents to vent his venomous resentnt. Otherwise, leaving just like this would be intolerably frustrating.

While delaying for a brief mont, Shi Feiyang had already finished gathering the water. By then, it was too late for Divine Gun to flee. As he hastily rose into the sky, a mass of Hongng Purple Qi abruptly rose in front of him, blocking his escape route, forcing him to turn back.

Shi Feiyang held the Nine Heavens Yuan Yang Ruler and blocked Divine Gun’s escape route with the Hongng Purple Qi, then plucked at the Cave Spirit Zither.

Divine Gun had more than eight thousand years of cultivation. If he still had his Lifebound Primordial Pill inside him, he could have put up a fight for a while even if Shi Feiyang hadn’t entered the "Earth Sound" state. But now that the Primordial Pill had been taken away, even as Shi Feiyang played with his hands, Divine Gun couldn’t withstand it. Although he was angry to the extre and wanted to fight to the death, he didn’t even have the ans to do so. As the Forbidden Garden again arose, the sounds from the zither ford invisible mountains that continuously smashed down on him, causing him to vomit blood profusely and crash onto the rocky ground. Eventually, another invisible wave of sonic mountains suppressed him, making him completely immobile.

Shi Feiyang flew down from the sky and landed in front of Divine Gun, whose form was not large, just over thirty feet tall, lying on the rocks like a fish waiting to be slaughtered on a chopping board.

Divine Gun looked resentfully at Shi Feiyang. He had lived a hard life for more than eight thousand years, and now his life was about to end once more...

If things went wrong, after death, his original body might even be collected and refined into a Flying Sword Magical Treasure. He deeply knew these human tactics, all of them utterly despicable...

Shi Feiyang, holding the Jade Ruler, looked at him, "Do you wish to die or live?"

The Divine Gun was startled when he didn’t strike imdiately but instead asked such a question. Gritting his teeth, he growled, "Among the world’s creatures, who doesn’t wish to live? If you want to kill , just do it. Don’t toy with !"

"I didn’t want to kill you," Shi Feiyang said. "If I hadn’t co today, well, in several decades, you would have died at the hands of a nun anyway."

Divine Gun didn’t understand his words and loudly retorted, "In probably sixty years, I will attain perfection. Not only will I fully cultivate my True Qi, but I will also unravel the mysteries of Yu Ding. Then, taking it with , I will race to the East Sea. At that ti, I’ll be free and unfettered. What nun in the world could kill then?"

"You wouldn’t know them even if I told you, but when you race to the East Sea, you will surely raise waters, flooding thousands of acres of land. Yu Ding, being a treasure of the Human King, cannot be allowed by human cultivators to fall into your hands. Let’s not talk about this anymore." Shi Feiyang then took out the Yu Ding, "I can return your inner core to you, but I can’t just let you go. To prevent you from bringing about floods and disasters, I must cast a spell to send you to the East Sea. Then I’ll return your inner core to you so you may roam freely in the sea thereafter, never to return to Central Earth. Alternatively, you can cultivate inside this tripod. I have been cultivating an ancient Sun and Moon Refining Technique from the ’Chi You Three Disks Scripture.’ I can teach it to you, and when I find a location to establish a sect in the future, you can join my disciples in your cultivation practice, aiding you in overcoming the Heavenly Tribulation."

Divine Gun, of course, couldn’t trust him, having experienced the might of Yu Ding day after day for over four thousand years. Under normal circumstances, he wouldn’t dare to willingly enter the tripod even if he had the courage of the heavens.

However, the ’Chi You Three Disks Scripture’ greatly intrigued him. He had lived for more than eight thousand years, even older than Guang Chengzi... having witnessed many events of the Ancient Tis himself. Back then, Emperor Chi You controlled the primordial fierce beasts, commanding the Seventy-two Cave Demon Kings to sweep across the world. That divine might, still admired by him even thousands of years later, made him envious.

He pondered for a mont and asked, "Is everything you’ve said true?"

"Of course it’s true. My ti is precious. Make your choice quickly."

After much hesitation, Divine Gun finally gritted his teeth, "I am willing to follow you in cultivation!"

Now it was Shi Feiyang who was taken aback, "You dare to enter the tripod?"

Divine Gun said, "I find myself here either way. Whether I enter the tripod or not, my life and death rest upon your whim! If entering the tripod can indeed bestow upon the Supre Divine Skill of Emperor Chi You from those years past, then I am willing to die for it!"

This unsightly, clumsy fellow–simple and naive–it was rare for him to be so clear-headed at such a critical mont. Shi Feiyang had assud he would choose to flee to the East Sea instead.

"In that case, enter the tripod first!"

Shi Feiyang lifted the Zither Sound Restriction on the Five Elents Divine Peak. With his left hand supporting the tripod and his right hand stroking the zither string, a clear "ding" rang out, and the Ding Cover flew up.

Divine Gun looked at the Five-Colored Radiant Light within the tripod with fear in his heart. He looked around, yet discarded the thought of desperately fleeing. Stiffening his resolve, he leaped into the tripod.

As soon as he entered the tripod, he saw a sparkling green light, a Treasure Bead wrapped in purple-red brilliance suspended therein–the very Lifebound Primordial Pill he had cultivated for thousands of years.

Shi Feiyang’s voice ca from above, "First, swallow your inner core. Once I’ve dealt with so matters, I will then convey the cultivation technique to you."

Overjoyed, Divine Gun hadn’t anticipated that the inner core would be returned so easily; he thought there would be more conditions and difficulties... He quickly rushed over, swallowed the inner core back into his belly, and then sank to the bottom of the tripod, silently cultivating to heal his injuries.
