He told Shi Zhu, "We had no enmities originally, yet because you wanted to pass the great calamity of thirteen hundred years, you actively sought favor with the Ei Sect and aided them against , destroying one of my physical bodies.
You held deep grudges against and, after many years, sought revenge again, wanting to destroy the foundation of my Outer Heaven Divine Mountain. Then, you voluntarily died by my sword and were inducted into my sect after Soldier Disintegration.
I won’t hold your past actions against to heart, and you will also forget all previous hatreds; let us start anew. Cultivate diligently under my tutelage, and I will give you the Xuanyuan Nine Swords,
Furthermore, I will create a specialized Cultivation Technique just for you. Once you master it, wielding this Divine Sword, you will sweep away the legions of demons, and at that ti, you will also resolve so of the karmic debts from my past actions."
Shi Zhu listened in confusion, yet his intuition told him that the person before him was the most trustworthy and reliable. Thus, he kowtowed again, "Disciple entrusts his entire life to Master and will act wholly as Master instructs."
Shi Feiyang then officially took him as his disciple.
These past few years, he had compiled all his life’s learning into a work titled "Purple Ying Immortal Scripture" (note), divided into upper, middle, and lower volus. The upper volu recorded the Three Emperors Dao, the universe and human life, Heavenly Number and human Dao, etc.
It seed very ethereal and hollow. When reading it, it felt very reasonable, yet once finished, it felt as though nothing had been read at all.
However, this work was the shaping of a worldview, and one’s worldview determines their outlook on life, which in turn determines their values—the cornerstone in deciding whether one follows the Righteous Path or the heretical paths.
The middle volu spoke of the cultivation thods, divided into nine Chapters, the first three discussed human cultivation, the middle three depicted the cultivation of demons, and the last three described the cultivation of disembodied spirits.
The lower volu described various applicative techniques, like swordsmanship, Talismanic Magic, arrays, and Dan Recipes.
Whether it was discussing the Heavenly Dao, cultivation thods, or various spells, none were re copies of others’ works.
This Daoist book wasn’t a simple compilation; each Cultivation Technique, each spell, and Dan Recipe included Shi Feiyang’s original innovations.
He lded together all aspects of his years of cultivation, crushed and integrated them from the perspective of the Three Emperors Dao he’d comprehended, combined with his own insights and creations.
As for the Circulation Golden Talisman, he had his own unique interpretations, and even the Five Elents Essence Qi practice from the He Sha Book, he made substantial improvents, increasing its external power and many variations.
With the release of these three volus, Shi Feiyang had completely beco a master of the Immortal Path.
He allowed his four disciples to read the Daoist books, and each disciple saw different words within.
The book would display different scriptural content according to their Dao Level and their ntal and physical characteristics, all of which were the most suitable for them.
Shi Feiyang admonished them that, until they beca Earth Immortals, they were not to discuss it with each other, only to cultivate on their own.
Lin Han, as the eldest senior brother, saw about one-tenth of the scripture, and Shi Sheng saw roughly the sa. Qiu Yuan had shallow effort and saw less than one ten-thousandth.
Shi Zhu saw the most, nearly one-fifth of the material.
Once they had finished reading, Shi Feiyang took back the scripture and let them go to cultivate, telling them to co back to read the rest after they had achieved mastery.
After Lin Han and Shi Sheng finished reading, they went elsewhere to cultivate. Soon after, disciples such as Deng Bagu, Huo Wuhai, and Xiong Man ca here in succession to pay homage to the Immortal Scripture.
Over the years, sohow, rumors about the "Purple Ying Immortal Scripture" began to spread through the world, claiming the scripture was authored by the Great Ming National Master, Master Yuan Yang, and that it encompassed everything under the heavens, divided into three volus covering the most profound Immortal Cultivation Techniques from Buddhism, Daoism, and Demon Cult. It is now scattered across Jianghu.
No matter if it was a Sword Immortal with an Immortal Foundation or a re mortal with no skills, or even a demon that was not human, or ghosts without physical bodies, all could cultivate according to the thods described in the book and directly discover a path to Immortal enlightennt or beco a self-sovereign Heavenly Demon.
So even described the scripture using Buddhist terminology, calling it "All-Encompassing for the Three Roots, Gathering of the Sharp and the Dull!"
Even those with diocre aptitude who were unwilling to put in the effort would beco exceptionally powerful spells if they could grasp a re phrase or two from the book. And if they were not able to master a spell, they might still acquire a supre divine skill. Should a person with only a breath of life left practice even a single spell from it, they would imdiately be revitalized, sitting up, taking to their feet, and striding along as if on wings...
Shi Feiyang had not noticed at first, for he was imrsed in his own cultivation, teaching his two young disciples whenever he found idle ti.
It wasn’t until today, when Xiong Man visited him, that he learned the matter of the Immortal Scripture had spread throughout Jianghu, "Luo Ziyuan has a discarded disciple who was expelled from the sect, known as Zhang Sangu. For breaking the sect rules, she had her Flying Sword confiscated and was cast out. These past years, she’s relied on her Qi Cultivation skills to mix with those in the Mortal World Martial Arts sector, claiming that you, Master, are about to ascend to the Spiritual Space Immortal Realm and have specially left behind a ’Purple Ying Immortal Scripture,’ which is said to be marvelously profound and formidable.
I’ve been thinking, only a few of us brothers and sisters have seen the scripture, and we are all tight-lipped—such a matter would never be easily disclosed. I have no idea how this has spread, but as it has passed from one to another, it has beco increasingly outlandish. Now, nurous ’Immortal Scripture Fragnts’ have appeared in Jianghu, and many martial artists, even Sword Immortals, have clashed over them, resulting in bloodshed and chaos."
Shi Feiyang furrowed his brows and after a brief calculation, knew soone was deliberately causing mischief, but with too little information and the results from divining the Gua Xiang unclear.
He instructed Xiong Man to act imdiately, "Go find a copy of the ’Immortal Scripture Fragnts’ for ."
Xiong Man set out on her quest and approached her junior martial niece, Zhang Sangu, to enquire where she could find these fragnts.
Zhang Sangu, having injured a fellow disciple, was expelled from her sect and hoped to soday return to Luo Ziyuan’s tutelage, thus she strived to please Xiong Man. Over the years since her expulsion, Xiong Man, or "Master Aunt," as she was known, had taken good care of her. Upon being asked, Zhang Sangu quickly rose to her feet, "Does Master Uncle also want the ’Purple Ying Immortal Scripture’? I heard that Master Yuan Yang is your master, are you unable to see the scripture within the sect and have co to seek it out in Jianghu?"
Xiong Man waved her hand dismissively, "Don’t concern yourself with all that, just tell where it is."
Zhang Sangu was a well-known female knight within the Martial Arts world, "This year, two fragnts have surfaced. One was found on Taishan and after changing hands several tis, finally ended up with the Twin Knights of Suzhou. The other appeared in Dongting, which also sparked a bloodbath, and as far as I know, was seized by the Five Heroes of the Xiang River. If Master Uncle wishes to see it, I can seek out the Five Heroes of the Xiang River and plead for it on your behalf."
"No need, I’ll retrieve it myself."
The Five Heroes of the Xiang River were fad knights in the Hunan region. Zhu Shahu Zhang Zhang, together with the Iron Cloak Taoist of Changsha Gu Wangfeng, the Heroic Monk Yi Fan, the Great Hero Luo Xin, and White Teeth Bai Qi, were all in the sa circle and well-acquainted with each other.
When Xiong Man found the Five Heroes of the Xiang River, they hurried to greet her upon hearing of her arrival.
Over the years, Xiong Man had frequently operated in Hunan, vanquishing demons and revealing many of her abilities. Add to that Luo Ziyuan was her eldest martial sister, so through indirect connections the heroes knew of her reputation.
Xiong Man clearly stated her purpose, and the heroes, without hesitation, went to the cellar to retrieve an iron box. Upon opening it, there was another iron box inside, and another...
After unlocking six layers of protections, they extracted a piece of silk upon which the scripture was written. Xiong Man examined it but did not recognize the text. Although she hadn’t seen the entire scripture, she was unsure if it was the one seen by her fellow sect mbers. As she was about to leave with it, she noticed the Five Heroes gazing longingly at the silk, rembering that they had also gone through great difficulty to obtain it—taking it without a word seed unreasonable.
She then produced five Flying Swords, "These I acquired years ago when I vanquished the Five Demons of Huai West. Seeing their quality was still good, I refurbished them into a set, which I had intended for my own use. I shall leave them to you."
The five swords emitted a dazzling glow, clearly Immortal Magical Treasures. The heroes were overjoyed and bowed in thanks.
Xiong Man returned to Shi Feiyang with the silk book.
Shi Feiyang took one look at the silk scripture and was slightly surprised.
The content of the text was indeed his style, and it seed to be a suprely profound Immortal Cultivation Technique!
He divined another reading with the scripture in hand, and this ti his analysis yielded a precise result—Grandmaster Ha Ha!
He then chuckled, "This old freak doesn’t dare confront openly; he uses such thods to undermine my rits. Hmm? Wait, this text... it has a whiff of curry, and even a hint of blood, there’s involvent from Buddhism and the Demon Cult. Good grief, this ti it’s you all joining hands to set a trap for !"
He handed the silk back to Xiong Man, instructing her to return it to the Five Heroes of the Xiang River.
Xiong Man inquired, "Which old monster is deliberately plotting against us?"
Shi Feiyang inford her, "You can’t deal with it, I’ll take care of him on my own."
