Golden Cicada and the others surmised it must have been the Ginseng Spirit, the friend of the Ganoderma Immortal, who sneaked in and accidentally triggered the Liangyi Dust Formation, alarming Master Can Xia.
Upon realizing that another Plant Spirit truly existed and was hidden sowhere within the Taiyuan Five Mansions of Ei Mountain, they all grew excited. They no longer thought of escaping but instead started searching within the Immortal Mansion.
They searched for several days without success. Later, they enlisted the help of their fellow sect disciples, simply stating that they were searching for the owner of the ginseng leaves.
After another half a month, Master Can Xia finally tracked them down.
Golden Cicada bravely stepped forward and claid it was all his idea and that he had led the effort. Everyone else had been coerced by him, and if anyone was to be punished, it should be him.
How could Master Can Xia be unaware of what was truly going on? She was more concerned about the defense of Ei Mountain being compromised, that these youngsters could co and go freely. If Blood Demon Zishen were to learn of this, wouldn’t he be able to intrude even more easily?
She separated the six of them for questioning and the testimonies she obtained were essentially consistent, aligning with the Gua Xiang she had computed.
First, it was confird that a Ginseng Spirit had infiltrated the premises, at least it was not the Blood Demon or the Red Corpse, which relieved her sowhat.
Next, she imposed punishnts on the six culprits, confining them each to different locations, ordering them to reflect on their actions in seclusion and forbidding them from leaving their ditation chambers.
Golden Cicada requested to bring the Ganoderma Immortal with him, but Master Can Xia denied the request.
After Master Can Xia had placed them all under confinent, she mobilized the disciples who were not in secluded ditation to continue searching for the Ginseng Spirit, while she personally went to study the vulnerabilities of the array at the exit of the Left Yuan Thirteenth Limit.
Shi Feiyang had long cloaked Heaven’s Secret in darkness, causing her to see only the Heavenly Number he had altered; no matter how Master Can Xia inspected it, everything seed perfect.
Just as she was about to put the matter aside, suddenly, a sword light rushed towards her. She recognized it as Elder Yue Yun’s Flying Sword, carrying a transmission, "The Blood Demon has infiltrated! Be cautious!"
Master Can Xia was startled, feeling her hairs stand on end as swathes of colorful clouds and a pure white celestial light surged around her.
The colorful clouds were the Protective Dharma Treasure she had painstakingly refined for hundreds of years, and the pure white celestial light was the Innate One Qi Talisman - a replica of the Taiqing One Qi Divine Talisman atop the Liangyi Dust Formation, crafted by the Three Immortals and the Two Elders.
Ever since Qi Shuming received the Emperor Mansion’s Heavenly Seal, his Daoist power had greatly increased, even surpassing that of Xuan Zhenzi. To combat the Blood Demon, he led his fellow sect mbers to refine this talisman, each Elder carrying it in turn. It not only enabled better control of the Liangyi Dust Formation but also offered self-protection against danger, specifically designed to counter all evil and demonic entities.
As her radiance began to manifest, a blood-colored shadow burst from the wall behind her, lunging directly at her.
Master Can Xia felt a chill run down her spine; her protective clouds were penetrated as if they were nothing. The white light emitted from the talisman was Innate Pure Yang Qi, which held the Blood Shadow at bay. The shadow zigzagged around the light, darting forward and then suddenly from behind, quickly creating hundreds of afterimages, charging at her from every direction.
Master Can Xia, greatly alard, hastily began casting spells while rging with her sword, flying towards Spiritual Jade Peak, simultaneously activating the Liangyi Dust Formation and sending out warnings everywhere.
In an instant, the chambers within the Taiyuan Five Mansions began to stir, so opening, others closing, so filled with all sorts of colored smoke, and so where thunder and lightning sparked out of nowhere.
As previously decided by the Three Immortals and the Two Elders, all junior disciples were ordered to stay in the nearby chambers, group together, seal their chamber doors, deploy prohibitions to seal off the entrances, and not roam around.
All the Elder Elders in secluded ditation, Xuan Zhenzi, Qi Shuming, the Ascetic Monk, the Short Elder Zhu i, the Cloud-chasing Elder Bai Guyi, and others, erged from their retreats and rushed to Spiritual Jade Peak.
The Elders gathered at Spiritual Jade Peak and asked Master Can Xia what had transpired. Master Can Xia recounted the incident.
Despite so ntal preparation, everyone was still deeply shocked. They had not yet finished refining the Magical Treasure to combat the Blood Demon but it had already broken through the Prohibitions and invaded. Ei Sect would face a greater catastrophe than the last one at the Star Constellations Sea and might even be at risk of total annihilation!
At that mont, Shi Feiyang also ca out of his chamber and rushed to the base of Spiritual Jade Peak. There were prohibitions on the peak, allowing only inner-sect Elders of the Ei Sect to ascend. Although he was now considered an Elder of Ei, he could not go up. With everyone at the top and him standing at the bottom, the situation was quite embarrassing.
Yue Yun had interactions with the Ei Sect for centuries, especially with the Three Immortals of the East Sea, and given his background, he was treated as one of their own. Xun Lanyin first reported earlier events to Qi Shuming, and Master Can Xia added, "If it wasn’t for the warning from Junior Brother Yue through his Flying Sword Transmission, I might have almost been taken down by the Blood Demon!"
In fact, she was being modest. With the Innate One Qi Talisman in hand, even if Shi Feiyang hadn’t warned her, she wouldn’t have been killed by the Blood Shadow. Clearly, she was grateful.
Qi Shuming then disengaged the prohibition, "Please join us, Junior Brother Yue, to discuss the matter of countering the Blood Demon!"
Thus, Shi Feiyang could ascend Spiritual Jade Peak openly and confidently.
This precious place nad Spiritual Jade Peak wasn’t rely a single mountain peak but included the tallest main peak as well as a shorter one. There were connecting ridges, pavilions, caverns, and other facilities. Apart from the treasure cave that couldn’t be opened, other areas were already accessible.

Shi Feiyang voluntarily explained how he had detected the Blood Demon: while cultivating a Demon-suppressing spell from the Shaqing Secret Manual, he sensed minute signs which led him to use Gua Xiang to compute that an outsider had breached the Ei Sect. The computation suggested the intruder was highly skilled in concealnt and practiced Demon Path Great Techniques. He suspected it to be Deng Yin, and the location seed to be near the Left Yuan Immortal Mansion. After erging and learning from the junior disciples that Master Can Xia was inspecting the Left Yuan Thirteenth Limit, he sent an urgent Flying Sword Transmission to warn her.
