Mysterious True Master selected the auspicious ti and was the first to enter, seizing the mont when the Demon Humans were coming and going and the Water Gate of the Illusion Wave Pool was open. He infiltrated imdiately afterward with the Invisible Sword Escape, directly entering and lying in wait within the East Cave Wood Palace.
Following that, the remaining mbers of the Ei Sect launched a large-scale attack, bombarding the Water Gate with Taiyin Divine Thunder and using Water Escape to move the water of the pool away, pretending to launch an assault. Xuanyuan Dharma King led his demon disciples out to engage in a duel with the people of the Ei Sect. Mysterious True Master seized the opportunity to strike, killing the demon disciples guarding the Wood Palace and then rapidly traversed the five caves, slaying any demon disciples he encountered.
Xuanyuan Dharma King had many disciples, and had now recruited so many more Demon Humans, but only his four greatest disciples from the past could contend with Mysterious True Master. The first two had already fallen. Blood Rock Hermit and Poison Hand Mo Shen were severely drained of their Primordial Qi. The two of them, together with Cui Ying, barely managed to draw a stalemate against Mysterious True Master.
Xuanyuan Dharma King sensed trouble, forcefully drove away the other mbers of the Ei Sect, and returned to the cave. Mysterious True Master did not engage him in combat and imdiately retreated. With thousands of entrances and exits within the Illusion Wave Pool, and Mysterious True Master’s Invisible Sword Escape reaching perfection, Xuanyuan Dharma King, unless he faced him directly, was also unable to track his whereabouts.
Just as he was urgently pursuing Mysterious True Master, Qi Shuming, Xun Lanyin, the two old n of Song Mountain, and others all turned around and ca killing back into the Illusion Wave Pool. Xun Lanyin seized the South Cave, took control of the Fire Palace, Bai Guyi seized the West Cave, taking control of the Golden Palace, and Zhu i seized the North Cave, taking control of the Water Palace.
Qi Shuming seized the Central Cave and started fighting with the occupying Poison Hand Mo Shen and Cui Ying. Thinking it should belong to him, he took it and tried to unravel its secrets. Little did he know, despite exerting a lot of Effort and even ruining two Protective Dharma Treasures, he still could not unlock it.
In the end, Shenjun Zhenyue, frustrated, attempted to shatter Spiritual Jade Peak with his own mountain-shattering techniques to retrieve the treasures, but regardless of what he did, the peak remained unscathed.
Xuanzhenzi had foreseen that Spiritual Jade Peak would end up in the hands of Shenjun Zhenyue and predicted that a direct confrontation to reclaim it would inevitably lead to conflict. Knowing that True Master Yue Yun of Yudong owed Shenjun Zhenyue a favor, Xuanzhenzi asked Yue Yun to retrieve it.
Yue Yun was a nominal disciple of Lianshan Daoshi and, although technically of the sa generation as Master Changi, he did not dare to assu the position of a senior in front of the two remaining Immortals of the Three Sages of Shu Mountain.
Firstly, Lianshan Daoshi had deviated from the Mysterious Sect to cultivate the Left-Handed Path, and what Yue Yun learned was not the orthodox teachings of the Mysterious Sect, making him naturally inferior to the Ei Sect, much like a child born out of wedlock eting a legitimate offspring.
Secondly, as rely a nominal disciple, not even an adopted child but a godchild.
A godchild born out of wedlock encountering the legitimate grandchild cannot presu to be the elder... It was necessary to distinguish their respective statuses.
In fact, Lianshan Daoshi recognized Yuan Yun’s extraordinary constitution and comprehension, and although he was temporarily on the side path, he was different from other Left-Handed Paths. Lianshan Daoshi foresaw Yuan Yun would eventually convert to the Orthodox teachings of the Mysterious Sect and thus only took him as a nominal disciple, teaching him the more upright side-path Immortal Laws. This Emperor Mansion Heavenly Seal Taixu True Decree was a command and reward given by the Heavenly Emperor of Taixu Immortal Mansion to Qi Shuming, the founding Sect Leader of the Ei Sect.
In the original text, by the end of the novel, Shu Mountain and basically the entirety of the Orthodox Mysterious Sect had joined the Ei Sect. Even Mr. Zhong from the Kunlun Sect recomnded his disciples to join the Ei Sect after performing Soldier Disintegration. The great prosperity of Ei represented the flourishing of the Orthodox teaching, with the whole Righteous Path under one na, that is Ei. The Ei Sect was essentially equivalent to the Orthodox Mysterious Sect, representing the orthodox Daoist lineage in the Human World. The Heavenly Emperor appointed him as a Heavenly Official and let him, on behalf of the Heavenly Court, maintain the Daoist lineage and guard the rightful path while warding off evil; it was the culmination of a thousand years of virtue accumulated by Master Changi, not for himself, but for the transmission of the Ei Sect lineage.
Qi Shuming should have waited until the sect establishnt was complete and both his Inner Strength and Outer Skills were perfected before opening the decree. At that ti, it would have been proper, but now that it was opened ahead of ti, the inscribed enfeoffing had changed.
