Shi Feiyang used "Formless Immortal Escape" to teleport himself and Yang Xu, vanishing from their original location and leaving through another window of the bell tower.
Hovering through the air, they arrived at a hillside a hundred miles away within an instant.
This ti, without needing an explanation, Yang Xu directly knelt down: "Junior Yang Xu pays his respects to ntor-Uncle."
Shi Feiyang was satisfied: "So you acknowledge as your ntor-Uncle now?"
"Only a predecessor of our sect could utilize the ’Taiyin Divine Thunder’ and ’Formless Immortal Escape’ to such a level," Yang Xu respectfully said. "But I have joined the sect too late and would like to ask how I should address ntor-Uncle?"
Shi Feiyang revealed his title: "I am not from the Qingcheng Sect. After your master’s reincarnation, he recognized as his sworn brother. I learned Daoist Techniques from him and that’s how I’m familiar with the spells of your sect. How did you end up in their hands? Do you have a feud with the lord of Red Cloud City?"
Upon hearing this, Yang Xu expressed his anger, recounting his ordeal: "I have neither grievances nor enmities with them. I had never t or even heard of the lord of Red Cloud City before—truly an undeserved calamity! It’s infuriating that they, being cultivators, would recklessly harm innocent people without a shred of moral decency!"
He wanted to say that the adversary would certainly suffer retribution one day, but well-raised, he didn’t wish to curse outright and thus remained silent.
Shi Feiyang said: "There’s no need to be too upset. The decline of the Red Cloud City’s lord is imminent. You just sit back and watch."
He then took out an elixir and spiritual glue, administered a pill to Yang Xu and applied the glue all over his wounds. Facing the warm mountain sun for a mont allowed the wounds to quickly scab over. In less than the ti it took for a al, the scabs fell off and the skin was healed perfectly and completely.
For the first ti, Yang Xu witnessed the effectiveness of the immortal dicine, moving his limbs without any discomfort from within or without.
Initially, he had been worried about external injuries being minor but feared that the Demon Fire might have scorched his internal organs, damaged his primordial qi, and even destroyed the foundation of his cultivation.
Unexpectedly, this newly appeared ntor-Uncle could not only save him from misery but also completely heal the damaged organs and qi. He hurriedly bowed in sincere gratitude once more.
Shi Feiyang had him sit on a rock and waited for the arrival of the Taiyin Hunyuan Ancestor: "Shortly, a Sect Leader from the Wutai Sect will co seeking vengeance on the lord of Red Cloud City. At that mont, I need to retrieve sothing from there."
Yang Xu quickly responded: "What does ntor-Uncle wish to retrieve? Your humble nephew is willing to help."
Shi Feiyang smiled: "It happens to be a ’Demon Scripture.’ You lack sufficient cultivation to handle it."
Yang Xu, rembering the ’Secret Demon Great Technique’ used earlier, had many questions for his ntor-Uncle, but felt it was not the right ti to ask and hoped to consult his master soon.
Shi Feiyang asked about how Yang Xu usually practiced cultivation by himself; Yang Xu said he had two junior disciples, one nad Chen Taizhen and another, Hu Yanxian.
The foundational cultivation techniques of the Mysterious Sect emphasize solid groundwork; they’d rather remain unremarkable for decades, even reincarnating multiple tis, to ensure a firm base of character and physique. Only then could they make rapid progress, achieving both stability and speed, until reaching the Heavenly Immortal realm.
This generation of disciples from the Ei Sect was born to et a challenge. Most had sufficient accumulations from past lives; this life they were directly admitted to the sect, being taught the highest level of the ’Nine Heavens Mysterious Scripture’ to accelerate their maturity. However, this approach also had its drawbacks—many lacked thorough composure, exhibited impulsive tendencies, could not assu responsibilities resulting in nurous karmic retributions which they would have to redeem in the future.
Jiang Shu, in teaching his disciples, purposely suppressed rather than enhanced their talents to prevent easy progress that could later bring sha upon the sect if their resolve wavered.
His three disciples each possessed only a single Flying Sword, which Jiang Shu helped refine by hand. Afterwards, he sent them out to perform acts of chivalry, accumulating external skills. They were not allowed to return to the mountain gate without eting a pre-established number of challenges and were forbidden to seek help from the sect in non-life-threatening situations.
Yang Xu and his brothers were raised in the Yun Gui region by Jiang Shu in a previous life; each relying solely on one Flying Sword, they braved thorns and defended themselves against enemies. The three brothers did not stay together but cultivated separately, only eting annually during the Dragon Boat Festival at a predetermined location to exchange experiences.
However, a few years ago, Chen Taizhen developed a Magical Treasure, a jade ring worn on the hand that could split in two to seek the others upon encountering danger, should he just think it.
When Yang Xu had previously been captured, the ring had already been activated.
Shi Feiyang had predicted that the "Chi You Three Disks Scripture" was extraordinary. Red Cloud City had specially constructed an underground palace to store this book, planning to retrieve it once the Taiyin Hunyuan Ancestor arrived and conflict ensued.
Hearing about the two junior disciples, his heart stirred and he urgently calculated their fortune, exclaiming worryingly!
The Gua Xiang indicated that the two were en route to rescue Yang Xu and would encounter the Taiyin Hunyuan Ancestor. With Qingcheng and Wutai sects being like fire and water, if he did not intervene, they were dood to perish by foul ans!
He hurriedly derived more details; they had already t, the celestial configuration indicated imminent death, trapped in a hopeless situation.
Quickly determining their direction, he teleported with Yang Xu urgently.
They flew northwest for two to three hundred miles and stopped atop a desolate mountain. Yang Xu was confused: "ntor-Uncle, are we going to... My brother! That’s my disciple brother!"
Below them on the slopes, the Taiyin Hunyuan Ancestor was holding two young n captive by casting spells. One was extrely handso and robust with thick eyebrows and large eyes.
The other looked rather peculiar, tall and big but with a wide reddened face unlike the normal, which is longer vertically and narrower horizontally. His face stretched more horizontally, with red pupils gleaming like a rabbit’s. Desperation caused his eyes to emit red light; wearing patch-ridden coarse cloth clothes that were very clean although washed white, he appeared quite destitute with a bamboo staff in hand, looking almost like a beggar.
