Upon hearing this, Conrad Sterling glanced at him from his luxurious office chair: "Got tanned?"
"Yeah! The UV rays there were too strong, once my skin gets dark, it’s really hard to return to normal."
Ethan wasn’t intending to complain; he was just a bit worried.

"Yes, she wanted to co to Aethelgard. Seeing she’s Miss Anna’s cousin and once shielded her from a bullet, I took it upon myself to help, hoping she’d look after Miss Anna once in the company."
"Ha, you’re quite considerate of her!" Conrad Sterling sneered, "Since that’s the case, check on her frequently then."
Upon hearing this, Ethan was stunned.
He was unsure why President Sterling assigned him such a task just upon his return.
Doesn’t he need to focus on the company’s affairs?

"Put work on hold; your imdiate task is to woo Angela Thornton!"

Seeing her in high spirits, the usual brown-nosing friends quickly greeted her: "Angela, you look much better today!"

"It’s not a big deal, but I can tell you." Angela intended to be mysterious but couldn’t hold it in, "It’s just that President Sterling’s assistant is pursuing recently."
"Why would President Sterling’s assistant pursue you? Doesn’t he know you’re President Sterling’s girlfriend?"
"He does! But he said he’s hopelessly fallen for , so he boldly confessed his feelings. Gosh, I don’t know how to handle him!" Angela said with a frown, looking genuinely troubled.
"Oh, I rember. I saw him when he brought you to the company. Quite a handso guy, pale and pretty... But he’s still got a ways to go compared to President Sterling; it’s brave of him to confess."
"No kidding! Now he’s tanned and brawny, markedly inferior to Conrad. He’s just a minor assistant; how could I possibly like him?"
"Why not inform President Sterling and have him fired?" soone suggested.
Angela shook her head, "No way! He’s rely expressing affection, hasn’t committed any serious offense; firing him seems too harsh."
In reality, Angela simply wanted to continue savoring this vanity.
From childhood to adulthood, the icons she admired invariably fancied Anna.
This is her first ti being pursued by a man.
Although Ethan is just an assistant, the confidence boost he gave Angela was unprecedented.

Upon hearing Conrad’s inquiry, Angela’s heart sank halfway, promptly denying, "It’s not from ."
"Good, I dislike excessive discussions about my private matters; you understand?"

"Moreover, it can easily create adversaries at the company! You should be mindful!"

However, Angela then noticed her treatnt changed.
So who believed she once dated Conrad simply thought Angela’s sudden denial was due to a breakup.
Since they’ve broken up, there’s no need to flatter soone like Angela without family background or ability.
And following that day, she seldomly saw Conrad Sterling again.
Now in the company, Angela can only talk about Ethan chasing her.
But Ethan, after all, is rely an assistant; not many are interested.

Henry also brought gifts, personally delivering them to Angela’s doorstep.
