"Young Master Sterling, you can tell Aunt Murray really likes Pop. As elders, they all share the sa mindset, hoping to see the next generation and the next."

"Aunt Murray hasn’t had it easy these past years, she’s been so ill she couldn’t get out of bed. I see she’s in high spirits today, maybe Anna can bring the child to visit her more often."

"Besides, I think Anna Thornton is really sothing. Even Aunt Murray agrees she’s more suitable for you than Marilyn Ford. She quietly gave birth to your child and raised him this far, and today she helped you take care of a seriously ill elder. Yet, you still can’t see her worth? Can you find any fault with her?"

Right as Henry Willow said this, Anna Thornton returned.

"I seem to hear you talking behind my back?"

"Talking behind your back isn’t always bad. Young Master Sterling and I were praising your beauty and grace, there’s not a single flaw."

"Really?"

Anna Thornton looked at Henry Willow’s slick deanor, then glanced at Conrad Sterling’s icy expression, with disbelief.

"I ca over to say that Pop and I have finished eating. Just saw the flowers blooming beautifully in the garden, Pop wants to pick so as a gift for Auntie, they can brighten the room and lift a patient’s mood."

"Wait for , I’m the best at flower-picking."

"You... better stay here and eat slowly."

Anna Thornton said as she placed two recovered cheese balls into Henry Willow’s plate.

"You actually got so snacks?" Henry Willow exclaid in surprise, "Young Master Sterling, what did I say? Look how considerate Miss Thornton is."

"Not considerate to everyone, for you... let’s just say it’s a celebration of our successful deal earlier."

Before Henry Willow could put the cheese ball in his mouth, Anna Thornton’s words startled him.

Henry Willow talked a lot previously, barely managing to steer the topic away. But unexpectedly, Anna Thornton brought it back, reminding Conrad Sterling of stabbing his brother in the back, wasn’t she trying to get him killed?

Henry Willow didn’t need to turn his head to see how awful Conrad Sterling’s expression was. Just by listening to the latter’s knife and fork scraping against the plate, it sounded like sharpening knives, completely scaring the cheese ball out of his hand.

"Cough, Miss Thornton, we have no grudges against each other, and you even extracted important information about Young Master Sterling from , there’s no reason for you to wish dead, right?"

"She doesn’t want to see you dead, but to see and you at odds." Conrad Sterling interjected.

"Ah, you’ve figured it out? No wonder you can hold your temper, President Sterling, and not explode yet." Anna Thornton laughed.

"Your tactics of sowing discord are too low-level." Conrad Sterling replied.

Henry Willow is Conrad Sterling’s good brother, and intermittently unreliable. It’s expected that he often prioritizes romance over friendship.

Conrad Sterling is displeased with him for telling Anna about Aunt Murray, but it’s not enough to rip his face off or beco sworn enemies.

This account can be settled later, there are many ways to do so. If President Sterling were just a brute who can’t control his emotions and only shows a cold face and a temper, he wouldn’t be the successful businessman he is today.

"Ah, looks like the drama I was hoping for won’t happen. The friendship between n is really puzzling." Anna Thornton shrugged in boredom, "But Young Master Willow, it also shows you still have value. Let’s continue our transactions next ti."

Henry Willow may be a playboy, but he’s never t a woman like Anna Thornton. Unpretentious and non-reserved, she dares to speak her calculations and plots outright. No wonder Young Master Sterling finds her troubleso, she’s unique enough to catch him off guard.

"Cough!" Henry Willow awkwardly coughed lightly, needing to show his stance in front of his brother, "My value isn’t that high, I already sold you the most important information. Really, not a drop left."

Anna Thornton: "..."

"But I’m curious, weren’t you planning to win Aunt Murray over and ultimately beco Young Master Sterling’s wife?" Henry Willow shifted the topic.

"This ti, I’m back to make those who hard pay with blood."

"Your top enemy should be the stepmother rumored to have poisoned your father to death, not Young Master Sterling."

Henry Willow and Anna Thornton exchanged intel, so he also heard about the Thornton Family’s encounter four years ago.

Anna Thornton glanced at Conrad Sterling, "Who said he didn’t make bleed?"

Conrad Sterling: "???"

Henry Willow: "!!!"

Anna Thornton took Pop to the garden, Henry Willow realized her words, "Young Master Sterling, I suspect she’s driving at sothing, but I have no proof."

Conrad Sterling: "..."

"Hahaha!" Henry Willow couldn’t stop laughing, "Young Master Sterling, Miss Thornton is just too interesting. Honestly, if you don’t plan on taking responsibility, why not let take the responsibility?"

Conrad Sterling didn’t find the remark amusing, nor did he like seeing Henry Willow laugh so heartily, he glanced at him, "Are you joking?"

"No, there are many beautiful won in this world, but truly beautiful and interesting ones are rare. If you don’t want Anna Thornton, I’ll take her and Pop ho. With such a charming little woman plus an adorable child, I would absolutely not be bored."

"Aren’t you afraid Sarah Grant will tear down your house?"

"Hey, can you give your brother so face and not ntion that pesky girl at this ti?"

Henry Willow sighed deeply, if the most interesting woman in his eyes is soone like Anna Thornton, then the most uninteresting must be Sarah Grant.

With Henry Willow’s extensive experience, he’s never t a woman as dull as her.

Sarah Grant’s life seems to have no other aning, just two words—jealousy!

Just thinking about that woman is enough to bring heartburn, Henry Willow planned to eat a cheese ball for relief, but looking down, where was the cheese ball in his bowl?

Anna Thornton gave him two, one fell off, there should still be one left.

"Young Master Sterling, did you see the cheese ball in my bowl?"

"No."

Henry Willow: "Huh?"

...

"Conrad, I heard Anna and Pop have no relatives or friends to rely on dostically. Why don’t you take them to live at the Sterling Family house? It would be more convenient." Aunt Murray specifically instructed Conrad Sterling before they left the nursing ho after dinner, "Also, Anna is an actress, and you have an entertainnt company. Just sign her up, and take care of her in the future."

Anna Thornton still hasn’t given up joining Dynasty Entertainnt, but Conrad Sterling’s attitude is still unyielding: "Aethelgard has many entertainnt companies she can choose from."

"No way, the entertainnt circle is so chaotic. I wouldn’t trust other companies. Anna is still young, she just got back, what if she’s bullied?"

"With her ruthless conduct for achieving goals, you really don’t need to worry."

"Ridiculous!"

Aunt Murray was irritated by Conrad Sterling’s words, she couldn’t help but give him a glare, "Aren’t you afraid of being laughed at? What’s the use of running such a big business if you don’t protect your future wife."

It’s one thing for her to stand by Anna’s side, but now she went ahead and designated her as his future wife.

Conrad Sterling really wondered, in just one day, what exactly did Anna Thornton feed Aunt Murray?
