No wait, judging by the design of the cake — with a cartoon couple atop the three-tiered structure — it seed more like a wedding was at hand.
The cake maker’s craftsmanship was exquisite, as even up close, it was clear the figures were made to resemble Anna Thornton and Finn Grant.
"Anna, I’m now one hundred percent sure," Mary whispered as she gazed at Finn Grant approaching Anna Thornton with the cake and flowers.
One hundred percent sure that tonight, Finn Grant would propose to Anna Thornton!
The last proposal involved only Finn Grant, Mary, and Anna Thornton. With fewer people, rejection wasn’t as embarrassing, especially since Finn hadn’t prepared extensively back then.
But tonight, with so many crew mbers present and dia reporters on site, who would dare disrespect Young Master Grant?
Everyone knew the fate of Jean Zane, who ended up in ruin for badmouthing Finn Grant behind his back.

"Anna, be cautious with your response. Even if you don’t want to agree, let’s find a way to stall him. Don’t act on impulse!"
As Mary discreetly warned Anna Thornton, Finn Grant had arrived in front of them.
"Do you like my surprise?" he asked Anna Thornton.
"Young Master Grant, tonight is our wrap party, and we’ve already ordered a cake. Isn’t your cake a bit out of place here?"
"It’s no matter; you have yours, and I have ours!" Finn winked at her playfully. "The wrap party is one thing, but I have another important announcent tonight."

Just like bees drawn to nectar, they sward around Finn Grant’s arrival.
The reporters waiting at Marilyn Ford’s set dwindled imdiately to half.
Monts ago, no one cared enough to interview their actors; now, soone approached Quinn Locke asking, "Director Lucas, can Young Master Grant join your actors for an interview?"
Quinn Locke could only chuckle awkwardly, "You’ll have to ask him yourself!"

Finn replied with an enigmatic smile, keeping everyone in suspense while holding onto his pocket, "No rush; I’ll answer all your questions soon. As for my relationship with Anna Thornton, it depends on her answer."

In an instant, all lenses were focused on Anna Thornton.

Finn’s prepared surprise and words remained unspoken, leaving him visibly torn.
Yet, he had lost the mood for a proposal, as he had to depart overseas imdiately. Even if Anna agreed, they wouldn’t even have ti for a kiss... let alone jump straight to what he really desired to do tonight.

Given the circumstances, Finn had no choice but to instruct his secretary to book the next flight while promising Anna, "Next ti, I’ll give you an even grander... surprise."
