Nyx lay down on her chair, in disappointnt. She had cried all her eyes out. Dora had tried to calm her down but it was to no avail.
"You have to calm down, we did not find him does not an we will not. Just be positive."
"How did my son go missing?" She croaked.
"Do not be scared, you will find him, no need to be worried and stop being negative Nyx."
"What else do you want to do? I literally can not find my son!"
"Why are you like this? Be positive, please."
Nyx pald her face and continued crying, she had neither ate nor drank and it was beginning to affect her.
Dora sighed, she was pained too but what could she do?
She patted her back gently, "Let get you sothing to eat," she stood up and headed to the kitchen. She ca back with a bowl of food and dropped it in front of Nyx.
"Eat sothing, please."
She shook her head, "I want my son to co back to ," she cried.
"He will co back to you, we just have to keep looking," she sniffed, sighing sadly.
"I want him to co here first."
Dora bit her lips, Nyx was punishing herself for no just cause.
"Nyx, please, we could also begin looking for him today. Just strengthen yourself and then we go find him again.
Nyx shook her head, her head was throbbing, her eyes were all red and puffy. She was too weak to cry but yet she still cried.
"Stop crying Nyx, everything will be fine. Please eat sothing."
She shook her head, "No, I do not feel like eating anything."
"Please eat, even if you do not want to eat for yourself, eat for Archi’s sake.
Nyx looked at her for a while, she pald her face after so seconds, and cried silently. Archi had beco get weakness and there was no way she could resist a matter if it was concerning Archi.
She took a spoon of food, forcing herself to swallow it.
"Just eat okay? You have to be strengthened, we will find him."
Nyx ate the food with tears in her eyes. At intervals, she would croak with the food in her mouth, and then begin to cry.
"Do not cry please, just eat okay?"
Nyx nodded, took another spoon and sniffed, she wiped her mouth, swallowing the food in her throat.
Dora made her eat a little more till she could take in no longer.
"I can not take in any more, I am filled."
Dora sighed,"If you say so," she took the bowl away from her and returned it back to the kitchen.
Nyx hugged herself, "My child, where are you?" She croaked.
Dora patted her back, "When you have gathered yourself, we will go look for him again, and for so reason, I feel we are going to see him."
Nyx stood up but fell back on the chair. She was too weak to even walk.
"Take it easy, I do not think you are in a right state, rest a little. Maybe I should look for him myself."
"No, I want to go with you, I have to go with you," she shook her head, attempting to stand up.
"You are too weak to do anything right now, I will do it myself, just rest. After all, part of this is my fault and I have to make up for it."
Nyx sniffled, "You did your best, it was not your fault. You tried, it happened to be stronger."
Dora helped her sit down, "Rest yourself. I will go and find him myself."
Nyx shook her head, "Why can I not go with you? I want to," she tried to stand up but fell back to the chair.
"Ouch," she held her head.
"Calm, you do not have to stress yourself."
BUt Nyx was adamant, she stood up, and headed to the door, staggering, "I will find my son, I must find him."
Before Dora could stop her, she had opened the door.
She took two steps forward, her head bubbling with an unusual feeling, "I must find my son, I will find my son. I know he is fine sowhere," she muttered.
She took another step forward, barely seeing where she was going to, "Archi will co back to , my Archi will definitely co back to ," she told herself.
She took another step but Dora held her back, "You can not go anywhere in this state, why can you not get that? I will do the finding myself, why are you so stubborn?"
"This is not being stubborn! This is looking for my son!"
Dora bit her lips, "I understand, it is all my fault though, maybe I should not have let him go with to the stream in the first place," she shook her head, feeling so guilty.
Nyx looked at the distance she was to cover, she didn’t know where Archi was but she was ready to search everywhere. Hopefully she would see her son and she would take him ho.
"I will find him, I have to find him," when kept on telling herself.
"We will find him but for now, you just stay at ho. Hopefully, if I go out, I will co back with good news."
"I want to go with you, I have to find my son, I know he will co back to ."
Dora sniffed, "Nyx, you are not in a right state, how do I tell you this?" She said softly, "Why do you not understand?"
"Because this is my son we are talking about, I want to look for him myself."
"You will find him, but not at the detrint of yourself."
"I do not care."
She gently let go of Dora’s grip on her wrist and continued walking. She could barely see where she was going to but she had no choice but to keep on going.
Dora watched closely, she thought she had seen a shadow co in their direction.
Nyx took slow but determined steps towards a direction she had no idea about.
She missed a step.
"Oh my goodness Nyx!"
Nyx’s eyes rolled back in but she felt a strong arm around her waist.
"Nyx," the voice called softly.
For so reason, she felt her insides freeze, then another voice that soothed her ears.
"Mother!"
