"Ragnarok is coming?", Lucas asked, his voice quivering. He glanced at Praneeth. "And you didn't think of even ntioning it to ?"
Praneeth did not say anything, and he kept mum. His eyes were locked downwards, and he did not look at Lucas' eyes.
"Alright, so let us talk. What did you guys decide about my fate, huh? Since this new information has co to light, then I can only assu that I am on my own?", Lucas asked.
"What are you talking about, Lucas? Co on! You can't possibly think that the council will just give up on one of its own!", Michael stepped up, but Lucas stopped him.. he glared at Praneeth. "Tell , dear high priest, what is the verdict of the council? Look deep into your eye, and see what is the ideal outco.", Lucas spat out.
"We shall do that after this circumstance is over. First, let us focus on the task at hand. The gods have given us a task, and we shall do ours. Let us make sure that Fenrir does not lose control when he goes on a rampage against Lucas' beta.", Praneeth finally spoke, breaking the tension in the air.
"Ragnarok will arrive a century later. Why talk about it now, and let go of the present?", Praneeth continued.
"So we are obeying the vote?", Mu Chen asked cautiously. Praneeth nodded in return.
"All right then. It is decided. Lucas, when do you want to move?", Raphael said as he got up along with Angela. He straightened his shirt and moved from his place to co in front of Lucas.
"When do you want to kill that son of a b*tch that disturbed my peaceful life?", he said, glaring at Lucas.
"This week.", Lucas said and he turned to leave. The room was dead silent. Raphael did not move from his spot, and everyone looked at each other's faces.
"How did things co to this?", Praneeth sighed.
"Wait a minute. Don't tell that we are really going to go help Lucas with a massacre this week. Are you joking? Did you not hear what you said yourself? And now you want to feed Fenrir so more blood?", Arthur asked, enraged about the decision.
"We will make sure that Lucas will not kill more than he should. It is just his beta and a few others who must have helped him with it, that's all right? How many people can that be?", Praneeth shrugged. Michael wanted to say sothing, but he stopped. He turned to the direction that Lucas left, and then back at the council.
"We'll do what Praneeth said, and see how we should go about later.", Michael said and he left the room.
Slowly, the council disbanded.
On the roof,
Lucas was sitting on the ledge, facing the city in all its glory. The wind swept his hair away.
"Don't tell you are going to sulk here for the rest of the week.", Michael's voice ca out.
Lucas did not even turn his head. He kept looking at the city, and he leaned back on his hands.
"Did you know that I had to cover up for you? No one knows that you are going to go after this marquess character after you are done with Peter. If they find out, they are going to kill for keeping this information to myself.", Michael said again.
Lucas turned to look at Michael. Michael's eyes widened as he stepped back. Covering his mouth in shock, he pointed to Lucas and said stamring, "Lu-Lucas! You eyes. They are red! Brighter than before. Brighter than ever before."
Lucas spoke in a deep voice that shocked Michael even further. "Call the Fenrir. Lucas is not a na that shouldn't apply to anymore."
