**The Night of the Full Moon**

“Wait. What are you saying about being too late?” Regina asked with clear confusion as her beautiful brows drew together.

Although she was still surprised at running into Florian of all people, she was even more shocked and concerned at his words. It was one matter if she couldn’t sleep with Leonard, but it was another matter altogether if she failed and soone else succeeded in her place.

“Exactly as it sounds. You are already too late, Regina. You see, while we’re talking here, Leonard is already with another woman,” Florian declared clearly.

“Another woman. Who?” Regina asked as she narrowed her eyes threateningly.

Florian just smirked as he enjoyed her clearly flustered reaction. All control over her emotions that she usually had had completely slipped at that mont.

“Should I tell you...or shouldn’t I?” Florian replied teasingly.

“Tell right now, Florian,” Regina demanded as she glared up into his face.

Florian’s eyes narrowed in his dissatisfaction at the rough tone that Regina had used. Before she could back away, his hand flew to grasp her chin before forcing her gaze to et his.

“I prefer won to sound sweet and pleading when they ask for a favor...” Florian whispered coldly.

“Florian...” Regina muttered his na through gritted teeth.

“You’re not getting it, are you? That didn’t sound sweet and pleading at all...” Florian replied with a small laugh as his green eyes glared at her disapprovingly.

Regina bit down on her lip when she realized that Florian was no longer playing around. Even if he was younger, Florian had grown up so much and she was forced to acknowledge that he is one of the princes of this kingdom.

“Please...tell who that woman is...” Regina pleaded softly.

Florian smirked when he got what he wanted. His hand slowly let go of Regina’s chin before dropping to his side once more.

“Very well...” he said calmly.

Instead of voicing the secret that he knew, he bent down until his lips were close to Regina’s ear. Her body stiffened again at his closeness as she waited in anticipation to hear his words. Florian whispered softly into her ear and her eyes widened in shock as a hand flew to cover her lips.

“It can’t be. Are you sure? I don’t...I don’t believe you...” Regina said as backed away from him.

“I haven’t seen it with my own eyes so I could be wrong. However, if you believe that Darius is an intelligent and calculating man, then you can trust that I am not wrong about this...” Florian said with a careless shrug as if he didn’t quite care if Regina believed him or not.

“It can’t be...” she murmured as a sickening feeling filled her up inside.

“Your shocked expression is very pretty too,” Florian comnted playfully.

“Stop teasing , Florian, I am being very serious right now!” Regina yelled at him before her eyes darted all over the place as her mind struggled to process what she had just been told.

“Should I offer you so help?” Florian offered with an innocently sweet smile.

“Help? How so?” Regina asked suspiciously.

“Well, as long as our interests align, I wouldn’t mind helping you out a bit...” Florian replied casually.

“What do you an?” she asked curiously.

Florian chucked in delight at her reaction because it absolutely matched what he had envisioned. Everything was going according to how he thought that it would play out. At that mont, he knew that he had Regina’s attention and interest.

“You want Leonard, right? Well, as for , I want her...” Florian drawled seductively.

“You want her?” Regina asked in surprise.

“That’s right. I really want her...” Florian admitted bluntly before he smiled charmingly at Regina.

**Back to the Present**

Prince Leonard’s damp skin against my body felt uncomfortably hot. The prince was still carrying in his arms, and I knew better than to voice my protest. Even if I protested, I knew that he wouldn’t let go and I would just end up aggravating his mood even further. Prince Leonard had not said a word to since we left the bathhouse, but I could feel the anger emanating from his body with every step that he took forward. I didn’t even know where he was taking , and I didn’t dare ask.

I didn’t know the way around the palace that well, but I could tell from the direction that we were headed that he wasn’t taking back to the maids’ quarters. This was the first ti that I saw the prince dressed up in his formal full uniform and it was a sight to behold although his uniform was now completely drenched because of the bathwater.

Prince Leonard must have attended a very important event before this if he was dressed up like this. Before I could stop my own thoughts, I had started imagining what he would look like in his full uniform. It was quite unfortunate that I didn’t get a glimpse of him in his uniform properly before he dropped down into the bathwater.

The walk to our destination felt awkward with him not saying a word to all the way until we arrived. I spent that ti thinking of him and the many mysteries about him that I couldn’t seem to unravel. There was not a mont that I didn’t think of him until we arrived at our destination. It ca as no surprise when we arrived back at his palace.

A very shocked butler greeted us at the entrance when he saw the state that we were both in. While the poor man struggled to find the right words, the prince marched right past him and entered the palace.

“Prepare the bath...” he muttered after pausing in his steps.

“Right away, Your Highness,” the butler replied from behind us.

The prince carried up a flight of stairs before making his way down a hallway that I had beco familiar to by that ti.
