“I love you. We love you. Rember that we will always love you,” my mother told as she reached up a hand to stroke my hair.

“You have to go now. There is not enough ti. Run as fast as you can and don’t look back. Forget about us and forget about everything. Start a fresh new life, Mila...” my father said as he placed a hand on top of my head.

I had no idea what happened after that because suddenly I felt a whirling sensation deep inside of my mind and then everything went pitch black.

“Mila! Mila!”

I could hear soone calling my na but his voice felt so soft as if he was so far away from . My lips wouldn’t move and I couldn’t make a sound. It felt like I had completely no control over my body and I couldn’t move a muscle. It just felt like I was in an unknown place while just floating in thin air.

“Mila! Mila! Can you hear ?”

I heard that voice again. A man was calling to so desperately and with each call of my na, I could feel his voice getting louder as if he was coming closer to .

An aggressive force suddenly pulled my body forward but my mind felt so blank and it seed like I couldn’t think straight. Suddenly, my mind went blank and I could not see or hear anything. After what seed like a short while later, I heard that sa voice call my na one more ti. It felt like I had sohow managed to thanks to that voice calling my na. The darkness receded and then completely disappeared, and I was greeted with a familiar scene of my bedroom. My feelings and my senses ca flooding back to , and I knew that I had returned to a reality. The dream was now over, to be more accurate, the nightmare was over.

I turned and saw Prince Leonard staring at with an extrely worried expression on his face and I wondered just how long I had been out for. Since the Prince was with in the dream, I figured that he must have experienced at least part of what I had experienced and seen.

“Are you okay? Mila?” the prince asked with a very concerned look on his face.

I wanted to tell him that I was fine but I knew that my lie wouldn’t be convincing. I couldn’t even understand my own emotions, and I felt extrely numb inside. The wet and warm feeling that I felt on my fingertips as I reached up my hand towards my face told that I had been crying in reality as well as in my dreams.

So many things happened that I didn’t quite know how to process all that I have seen. My body still trembled from the shock.

“My parents are gone...” I murmured as my face felt so numb.

I knew beyond a doubt that what I saw was a part of my missing mories, and that ant that my parents must have passed away that night in the dark forest. That night I must have run away just as my father had instructed and then soone found wandering in the forest and brought to the orphanage where I grew up.

“Don’t cry, Mila,” the prince said comfortingly as he put his arms around my body and held tight.

“I’m sorry but I can’t stop. I’m just so shocked,” I confess honestly as I buried my face into the prince’s firm chest and let him hold tight.

“This is all my fault. We shouldn’t have probed into your mories like that. I should have realized that you must have blocked out those mories because it was too painful for you to rember,” the prince said apologetically.

“It’s not your fault. If anything, I need to thank you for helping regain my mories...even if they were painful ones. I’m glad that I got to see my parents’ face, and that I could rember them again...” I thanked him honestly.

The prince was right that it was a painful experience to witness my parents death. However, I did not regret it at all. Rembering them felt like the right thing to do and I preferred to carry the burden of their mories rather than to completely forget them.

“Thank you for helping rember my parents again,” I thank the prince once more.

It was great that I could rember the faces of my parents and then I began slowly recalling so mories from my childhood that I shared with them. That made feel like slowly over ti, I might regain even more of the mories that I had sealed away from my childhood.

“I think that everything is slowly coming back to and that I would end up rembering everything. At least, that’s what I hope would happen,” I confess to the prince softly.

“That’s good but I just wish that it didn’t have to be so painful and difficult for you,” the prince said as he stroked my hair.

I let the prince comfort and my tired body and soul because that was just what I needed at the ti. I couldn’t even begin to imagine how lonely and lost I would have been had I woken up alone in bed without him by my side. I was right that mating with the prince would lead him to unlock my mories and my body still felt sore from the after effects of our passionate session.

The wolves killed my parents...

That was the truth that my mory showed. My parents didn’t simply pass away from natural causes, but they were murdered by a large pack of wolves. They were hunted down like prey and ended up sacrificing their life just so that their only daughter could survive.

How did we all end up in that situation? Why were we being pursued the way that we were?

“Why does sothing like that have to happen? My parents were killed by wolves. We were hunted down like worthless prey, and in the end, only I survived at the cost of my parent’s lives,” I murmured sadly as I felt another tear roll down my face.
