Instead of feeling relief, I winced at the sound of the prince’s voice. I guess I should have gone into hiding if I wanted to avoid him for real instead of just sitting here on a bench in the garden out in the open.

It would have been a disaster for if she found out the truth that I had run out here to escape the prince. Although I didn’t think that it was my fault, I also knew that Mada wouldn’t think the sa way. I had a feeling that so serious lesson was waiting for from the very strict Mada Sand. After taking in a deep breath, I followed the Mada back into the building obediently. Soon I found myself back in the large lecture hall where I was before, and I sat down on the exact sa seat.
“I have no idea how your other nights with the prince progressed; however, I won’t have you failing to perform your duties now that you’re under my care. No one, including you, will be a disgrace and bring sha to the honor of the honorable maidens. Is that clear?” she said as her eyes narrowed at .
She was so fired up about getting this right that I started to stress out about it. The prince did say that he would be back to spend the night with and that I should wait for him in my room; however, does that really an that we’re really going to do it?

Of course, I was too wrapped up in my thoughts to even hear a single word that she had said. What was she talking about just now?

I could tell that she was all business when she asked that; however, I had very mixed feelings in describing the intimate relations that I’ve shared with the prince. So, I hoped that she wouldn’t ask for any more details.
“No, Mada. Also, I think that there’s been a misunderstanding. You see, I never mated with Prince Leonard, and he probably doesn’t favor compared to the other honorable maidens that already lived here before ...so...” I began pleading my case.
Maybe if I could convince Mada Sand that the king has gotten this all wrong, then perhaps I could go back to being a simple palace maid.
