“Do you care about your father’s political career or your family’s social standing that much? I honestly never thought that you wanted to beco the next queen,” I said before I cocked my head slightly to the side and stared down at her face.
Regina smiled a bittersweet smile that further confused . It looked like she was happy but then it looked like she was about to burst out crying at the sa ti. It was a very strange look that I had never seen on her face before, and it disturbed .
“I don’t...care about any of that. I just...want to be with you, Leo...” Regina said as her voice shook with emotions.
This wasn’t the first ti that soone had confessed their feelings to , and I had honestly thought that had gotten used to it. Rejecting won and their feelings had beco sothing easy for . I could reject them straightforwardly and coldly without feeling any regret. I always told myself that it was better for them that way. Swift pain was always better than a lingering pain that refused to stop or go away, that was what I always thought.
“You know that I don’t feel that way, don’t you?” I asked.
Her confession caught by surprise even if I should have seen it coming from miles away. Even when we were younger, there were talks of getting us engaged and all that. It truly made feel sick. Why must people ddle to turn sothing as beautiful and pure as the friendship between kids into sothing else?
“How do you know that for sure? If you spend ti with ...if we spend ti together like we used to, I’m sure that you will co to like ...” Regina argued without backing down.
“I already like you. You’re like a little sister to . It’s always been that way. I adore you a lot and I always let you get away with quite a few things...” I said as I smiled gently at her.
“No! That is not how it should be between us!” Regina denied so loudly that I was stunned for a mont.
I knew that she could have a temper, but I did not anticipate for her to lose control like this and this soon. A loud and long sigh left before I could hold it in. This conversation was getting nowhere, and I didn’t have all the ti in the world to spend with her.
“I have no idea how things are supposed to be or what is right or wrong. But this is how I feel, and it won’t change,” I told her flatly.
“Why? Is this because of that maid that you bought?” she asked as her eyes glared accusingly at .
I thought her questions were good ones and even I wanted to know the answers to them myself. Did bringing Mila here change sothing inside of ?
“I have no idea. I’m still trying to figure it out,” I replied a little too honest for Regina to take.
She looked like she was about to scream at and then she just shut her mouth and looked extrely hurt. I must be very cold-hearted because I did not regret my words in the slightest.
“I refuse to believe this. People’s feelings can change...” Regina said stubbornly.
I didn’t want to argue with her. She could go ahead and believe whatever it was that she wanted to believe.
“Can they?” I said in wonder.
Without replying to , Regina suddenly sat up straight on the bed. The look in her eyes were quite unreadable when she turned to face . Her arms reached out for and then she pulled into a tight hug that pressed her body up against mine.
“Leo...please hold ...” she whispered seductively.
My arms moved naturally around her body to hold her just as she had requested before my hands stroked her back comfortingly. I could feel her body shaking in my arms and I could tell that she wasn’t at all experienced at seducing a man...if that was what she planned to do.
The longer I stroked her back, the more I felt like I was comforting a lost child. I could feel her frustrations as her body continued to tremble. What would it take for her to truly understand why we couldn’t be together the way that she wanted?
“Leo...can you please stay the night?” she said invitingly.
Slowly, her arms loosened from my body, and she separated her body from mine just enough that she could stare up into my face.
“Do you want to sleep with that badly?” I asked bluntly.
“I...” she muttered as she looked away in embarrassnt.
“Do you have any idea how many won that I’ve slept with? You don’t, do you?” I asked sternly.
She probably didn’t know because even I had lost count. Better yet, I no longer bothered to count let alone rember the nas and faces of those won. They ca, we did it, they went, and I never saw or heard from them again. All of them were failed experints. Most, if not all of them, could not conceive and even if so did, they never gave birth.
“It doesn’t matter to ...” she said through gritted teeth, and I could tell that she was lying.
“I see. Should we try it?” I asked casually.
“What...?” she gasped in surprise.
“Should we have sex? I don’t have much ti because there’s soone that I want to see but if it’s just for a little while, we could do a quick round...” I suggested with a careless shrug.
I’m a very healthy man so...getting it up and doing it wasn’t going to be a struggle for . Then there was the beast inside that could always step in to take the reins.
“As long as you’re clear and fine with doing it without any feelings involved then I guess I don’t mind giving you a taste of myself. They do say that I am pretty good in bed although I don’t quite appreciate being reviewed and given 5-star ratings like I’m simply just a product or service...” I said lazily as my hands reached for her shirt’s ribbon at the base of her neck.
