"What?" Alpha Mitch asked and pushed open the door to go inside.
"He isn’t eating or responding to . His skin feels too hot too". She replied hurriedly, saying everything under a single breath.
Alpha Mitch barely heard what she said, all his attention was on the small figure in the middle of the big bed.
"Tell Gale to call the doctor now!
Hurry!" He barked at her as she stood in a stunned silence.
Alpha Mitch gently went to the bed and lowered the covers that pulled all the way to his face.
He touched his face in a gentle and tender manner.
Tristan shrank back as his cold hand touched his face.
He wanted to open his eyes but it felt very heavy and tiring to do so.
He had heard him walk in and order the maid but he was too weak to react.
The word doctor that faintly got to his ears made him force his eyes open.
Even though it felt grains of sand were in them when he blinked he still looked up at him.
"The doctor is coming, hang in there". Alpha Mitch assured in a soft voice. A big difference to how he just hollered at the maid.
Tristan shook his head and tried to force a few words out of his mouth.
"No, I am okay.
There is no need for a doctor". He forced himself to say in a tone barely above a whisper but as always the Alpha heard him perfectly.
"No, you are not. The doctor will decide if you are really okay". He replied and laid down beside him.
Tristan wanted to argue further but suddenly his arms around him including the covers.
He gave up the argunt with fear stifling his heart but neither of them said anything for a while until Alpha Mitch spoke again.
"I am very sorry. I- hurt you. I am so sorry for that". He said in a calm voice full of regret.
Tristan wanted to say sothing in response but he drifted off into sleep and when he next opened his eyes it was to the uncomfortable probings of the doctor.
His face was covered in sweat and the covers had been removed from his upper body, Alpha Mitch stood beside the doctor with an uneasy expression on his face.
"Can you help turn him over?" The doctor turned towards Alpha Mitch and pointed at the Oga.
With little effort, the Alpha bent down and turned him on his stomach.
Tristan wanted to turn back up but he held him down with a hand to his lower back.
The doctor went to work and Alpha Mitch turned his gaze away after he realised what he was doing.
Tristan ’s face contorted in pain but didn’t make any sound as he was too weak to do so.

After he had brought in the doctor, Gale angrily stord out of the mansion.
He had vowed not to let the Oga bring in more trouble and disrupt their lives but in just less than a few days the Alpha had thrown away the potential mate. And there was no one to bla for it except the fragile looking Oga.
He stopped at a bar just towards the pack borders.
Inside the bar was Adriana waiting, she looked up at him with little interest.
"You should have a reason for bringing over here". She said as she took a small sip out of her drink and grimaced in disgust before dropping the drink.
"What happened between you and the Alpha?" Gale asked after he settled down into the seat from across her.
"And when do I start giving reports to you?’ Adriana asked as she leaned her back against the chair.
Gale looked at her passively and sighed before he continued.
"I know the Alpha wouldn’t throw you out for no reason. What did you do to him?" Gale asked again, rephrasing his question.
But she leaned forward and scoffed at him.
"Why should I tell you?".
Gale chuckled before he responded.
"I am only trying to help you. Don’t you want him?".
He taunted.
Adriana frowned.
"Huh?".
"Yes, it’s unfortunately embarrassing for to say this, but for the first ti ever I am against my Alpha’s decision.
I don’t want the Oga for him.
There are several benefits we would all get if you both ended up together".
He continued and realised that his words had gotten to her.
"And what do you stand to gain?" She asked, her eyes narrowing at him.
Gale smiled in understanding.
"Don’t worry about that". He whispered and she rested her back again as she beca lost in thought.
She understood perfectly what he was saying, even though she had been all over Alpha Mitch all these years, the reason had been purely personal and selfish.
She just wanted him because she likes him.
Now, Gale had opened her eyes to the real things her obsession could bring.
"But he doesn’t even want to see again.
Because of that stupid Oga, he threw out!.
I even went as far as drugging him but he went after him again!" She spat bitterly.
"Don’t worry about that, we will do it properly this ti. You just need to be available and ready when it’s ti.
Alpha would willingly let his Oga go. He also knows what’s the best for the pack". Gale reassured her and she slowly nodded.
"I think you and I would make a great team". She said and took a sip out of her drink.
Gale nodded and he smiled at her. But he was uneasy inside, just before the Alpha knew the Oga he had always hated her for always clinging onto the Alpha but he is now joining hands together with her to do what he hated.
They parted ways after so ti and she returned to her pack with a new sense of hope after just being angry and dejected a few hours ago.
Now, she would lay low and wait for the perfect ti.
"He would beco mine anyways". She thought gleefully.
