Tristan remained glued to the wall as he felt like a prey caught in a trap.

The knocking on the door wasn’t stopping and he wished it was a bit closer and he would have made a run for it.

There was no way he could outwit or outrun the angry Alpha King, but he was also tired of seeing him like that.

And he had no guts to tell him again that things had ended between them.

It doesn’t work that way and he could never be truly free from the Alpha.

But he would no longer be his weakness.

Alpha Mitch slowly cald himself, he hadn’t taken his eyes off the Oga.

"He is mine" he echoed in his mind and slowly stalked towards him.

Fists clenched and shoulders tensed.

He paused suddenly as he was just a step away and a frown pulled his brows together.

"Why do you sll different?" He asked suddenly.

Tristan’s expression mirrored his, he had no idea what he ant.

But Alpha Mitch knew what it ant.

He took a step back and his lips pressed into a thin line.

Without another word, he opened the door and walked away angrily.

Nita rushed into the room after he had left and saw Tristan seated on the floor while resting his back on the wall.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" She asked in a hurry and quickly did a check over his body.

"How?

How are you here?".

"I also do not know, it’s just a coincidence". Nita replied swiftly as that was not her main concern.

They had spent so ti here and she was worried the Alpha might have hurt him.

"He cannot hurt " Tristan reassured her with a mild smile, although deep down he wasn’t sure of that.

But he was tired of people acting like everything goes wrong anyti he cos in contact with the Alpha.

Tristan suspended his head and rested them on his bent knees.

"Let’s go back" Nita said softly and tried to lift him off the ground.

Tristan dragged himself off the ground instead, his expression was blank.

His mind was the opposite as it kept replaying the last thing the Alpha King had said.

His scent can only change if he gets intimate with another Alpha and it would gradually wear off to his original scent.

Now the Alpha thought there was sothing between him and Trevor.

Tristan sighed softly as they entered the banquet hall again. He no longer wants to stay there.

He noticed Trevor seated alone at their table.

He thought of what to say to him and nothing was coming to his mind.

But he didn’t even have to because as soon as he got closer to him Trevor stood out of the seat to et him.

"Are you alright?" He asked, checking him all over just like Nita did.

Nita watched the two of them with a sad shake of her head.

"Leave them alone, let’s go. That proud cunt had ruined the party" Alpha Raul said and dragged Nita after him.

Nita let out a soft yell and looked over at Tristan but Trevor was all over him so she willingly let Alpha Raul lead her out.

The beautiful party had co to an abrupt and unpleasant end.

When in the car, Nita turned to the Alpha King beside to ask a question but was t by a lit cigarette and smoke in her face.

She coughed several tis and turned to glare at him.

"What’s wrong with that Alpha King?

Does it have anything to do with you?" She asked carefully.

Her reason for asking was to ensure Tristan was safe and to also satisfy her curiosity.

She had nothing, no parents, money or status except an old granny she seldom saw.

If she was going to get more involved with Alpha Kings she needed to be very careful especially when he was Alpha king Raul.

"Why would I know what’s wrong with him?

He just seems sex starved that’s all. Just like ". Alpha Raul replied and turned to blow another mouthful of smoke on her face.

Nita held her breath but was too flustered to glare at him.

No one would believe nothing was between them except him always showing up to annoy her on a few occasions since the day he dropped her off for the first ti.

Nita shifted back towards the door close to her after what he said but that only made the Alpha smirk and drag her closer.

One minute she hated him and found him annoying and another minute she was staring into his eyes just like now.

"Why are you so skinny?" Alpha Raul said suddenly and Nita’s face turned as bright as a tomato.

"You weigh almost nothing. Put on so weight and I won’t hesitate to strip any clothes off you" he said while eyes road her body, stopping montarily on her chest.

Nita was too flabbergasted and covered her chest with her arms, she would never have thought soone like him would act like he just did.

"I like being skinny like this, and I would never add more weight if that would make you–

You have access to many Ogas, why are you bothering with soone as skinny as I am!" Nita yelled and turned away.

Her shout startled the Alpha King and he chuckled after she turned away from him.

He also doesn’t know what got him attracted to her.

The car slowly ca to a stop and Nita realised they had gotten to her house, she bolted out of the car imdiately the doors unlocked.

She did not give the Alpha ti to catch up with her as she ran up the stairs leading to her apartnt while fuming.

"I can’t believe I dressed to impress that piece of shit!" She spat as she struggled with the door.
