Tristan looked at the Alpha as he gestured to a chair.
"Sit". He commanded simply.
Tristan remained frozen on the spot while he thought frantically for the reason for bringing him there. And their last encounter replayed in his mind.
He has no favorable thoughts of him.
"No, I don’t want to sit", Tristan replied, softly but firmly.
"I am not hurting you.
Now, sit". Alpha Raul repeated while suppressing a groan.
He wouldn’t have gone through that much stress if all he wanted was to hurt him. But the Oga looked like his soul was about to leave his body.
Tristan does not trust his words, but sat down anyway because he understood that the situation was dire and things could go haywire if he provoked the Alpha.
Alpha Raul nodded in satisfaction as he watched him sit down on the seat.
Things had gone extrely wrong at his pack house and his n had mistakenly shot the oga since then he had been looking for ways to reach him. And now, seeing that the oga is finally away from his Alpha, he had the opportunity.
Tristan had no idea where this was going. He was extrely nervous and sat on the edge of his seat while watching the Alpha closely.
"How are you doing?"Alpha Raul started, trying his best not to sound awkward.
Tristan frowned at his question and looked around, wondering who he was talking to.
"I am fine," he replied slowly after a little hesitation.
Alpha Raul could not bla the oga as he realized he sat rigidly on the edge of the chair.
He had initially gotten interested in the oga because of Alpha Mitch, but he is no longer interested in him because he realized the Alpha had discarded his oga.
Now he is only making these efforts because of the oga that caught his attention.
"Nita" he thought with a slight smile on his face.
She is feisty and cute.
She’s brave too, and that’s what got him interested in her. He wouldn’t have bothered to look in her direction if she was like Tristan.
After he got both of them to his packhouse that night, he would have asked his n to send her back the following day after Tristan left.
But she stirred up trouble and left an impression on him.
"How is your injury?" Alpha Raul.
He had expected the poison to kill the oga but he had underestimated Alpha Mitch.
"It almost killed but I guess that’s all it could do," Tristan replied, wishing he could say more than that.
Alpha Raul chuckled at his response, and he raised an eyebrow at the difference in way the Oga talked.
"Why are you away from your Alpha? The last ti I checked you were always together" he asked, changing the topic.
eting the Oga today is very crucial to his plan. He knew the Alpha would have eyes on the Oga that was why he used his bullies to bring him out. He doesn’t want to risk provoking the Alpha after what happened.
But he also needed to know what was going on, despite what happened he hadn’t given up on his plan.
Tristan dropped his gaze to his hands. His chest tightened and tears burned in his eyes like hot sand but he swallowed them. He breathed out shakingly before responding.
"He is not my Alpha, we just had just so things together in the past and it’s over" he replied, as firmly as he could.
Even though it seems impossible, he wished people would stop talking about the Alpha to him.
He doesn’t want to be reminded of what happened. Maybe not now, maybe later, but he needs to focus.
"The two of you are no longer together. That’s interesting."
Alpha replied with a smirk.

Tristan was relieved when he was dropped off at the front of Nita’s house.
"What happened? Where have you been?" Nita asked when he returned to the apartnt.
Tristan didn’t say anything. He was quiet and sat down on the couch.
"What happened?" Rita asked again as she noticed his somber mood.
"I need to forget him, what do you think I can do to forget him?". Tristan asked softly.
"Why? What happened?".
"You don’t need to force yourself to forget him so quickly. The heart needs ti, you know. So tell what happened?" she asked again, rubbing a circle on his back.
"I realized that I can’t escape him. Anything I do is connected to him.
And he might be watching my every action in school and my personal life.
So I need to show him that I’ve moved on. I am no longer with him. I initiated it so I need to take responsibility and I need to stand with my decision to the end". Tristan poured out in a sad voice.
"Taking responsibility for your actions is not a bad thing, but you need to do it slowly.
I do have an idea on what you can do."
"What is that? Tell ," Tristan asked, looking up eagerly at her.
"You could maybe date soone else?"
"Date?" Tristan asked, with a grimace.
Yes, dates. Go on dates, go out to parties, that will take your mind off him. Although it’s not really a good option, I don’t think we have any choice. That is if you actually want to forget him." She continued mischievously.
"So who would I date–
Trevor! Do you rember Trevor?
Yeah, Trevor, the one that’s always taking care of you. He’s always helping us against those assholes in school. I know he likes you, although he might be hesitating to voice it out. So maybe you can give him a chance? What do you think?"
Well, I don’t like parties and have never dated anyone before.
Actually Trevor invited to a lunch date this weekend." Tristan said carefully and Nita gasped in shock.
"That is good, what did you tell him?" Nita asked excitedly.
"I said okay to him, although I doubt I would really go." He responded.
"No, don’t doubt it. You did a good job. Let’s prepare for your lunch date".
Nita concluded and smiled widely at him.
