Alpha Mitch’s gaze dropped to the floor as he dropped to his knees.

He was in a dilemma at the mont, and swallowing his pride and kneeling before her seed to be the most favorable option to him.

Even Agatha could almost not hide her shock, she wasn’t expecting him to give in so quickly. It would be quite unbelievable to explain to soone that he was the sa person that had minced no words while insulting her just a while back.

"I would help you. If not for anything but for the poor Oga that ended up with soone like you" she broke the silence and turned away from him.

Alpha Mitch’s fist clenched tightly but he said nothing before rising off the ground.

"Go and bring him here quickly" she ordered and Alpha Mitch rushed out of the old cabin.

Gale was surprised to see him co out so soon and didn’t hear any noise from within.

"She refused?" He asked, searching the Alpha’s face for any sign of sadness.

"No, she didn’t. We need to bring him here now" Alpha Mitch said in a hurry and rushed towards the car.

Gale stood still and watched him for so ti.

"What did he do to make her agree to help so fast?" He thought with a frown but rushed towards Alpha Mitch as he glared at him from where the car was parked.

When they got back to the pack, it was getting so late.

Alpha Mitch ignored those that were waiting for him in front of the pack house and just hurried inside.

It was a rare sight to see the Alpha running like there was sothing on his tail.

He had changed so much that they could almost not recognise him.

In Tristan’s room, his maid quietly wiped down on his body with a warm towel. Mariah sat beside the bed with a sad expression.

Tristan wasn’t showing any signs of waking up, if anything he looked worse now.

The doctor had redressed his wound and even that wasn’t improving.

The door opened, startling the two of them. Mariah flinched and the maid looked at the door.

They eagerly stood up as Alpha Mitch rushed inside.

"Mitch, have you found soone that can treat him?" Mariah asked hopefully.

"Yes". He replied and turned to the maid.

Pack a small bag with a few clothes for him" Alpha Mitch ordered.

"You are taking him away?" Mariah asked, alard.

Alpha Mitch nodded and bent down to look at Tristan.

His expression softened and he sighed heavily. He used a finger to remove the hair that covered his face. He looked as if he was in a deep sleep but the abnormal colour of his skin tones says otherwise.

After a few minutes of studying his face, as if engraving it in his mory. He carefully carried him off the bed.

Mariah and the maid followed behind them.

Gale was waiting in the car when they got outside, and a few people were also beginning to gather around.

The majority of them except those that t Tristan on the night that the mating ceremony was supposed to take place, have no idea who he was or what he ans to the Alpha.

"Isn’t it too late to leave?

Can’t you wait till tomorrow morning?" Alpha Mitch’s mother also ca out just before the car started.

She looked sadly at her son and knew without doubt that he would refuse her.

"I cannot wait till tomorrow, I do not know what could happen" Alpha Mitch responded. The longest words he had said the whole day.

"Okay, please be careful" She urged and he nodded at her.

He signalled at Gale and the car drove away from the pack house.

They arrived at Agatha’s place after so hours.

Gale parked the car and ca out to hold the door for Alpha Mitch as he carried Tristan out.

Agatha was waiting outside her door for them.

"Co in quickly" she ordered and ushered them in.

Inside the cabin was now very bright with various candles lit and burning.

The entire space slled like wild flowers and so herbs.

A bed was placed in the living area, where Alpha Mitch had t her earlier.

Following her instructions, he dropped Tristan on the bed and turned him over because of the wound on his back.

Agatha frowned after getting a closer look at him.

"You can return to your house. I will make sure to get him back to health". She ordered without looking away from the Oga.

"I should go back? Are you sure you can–

"Would you like to do it yourself?!" She snapped at him.

Alpha Mitch beca silent under her glaring eyes.

He looked at Tristan and back at the door but didn’t move an inch.

He was asked to leave but how can he leave when his other half is here and unwell.

He won’t be at peace at all.

"You need to leave for to work effectively and fast. And if you refuse, then you can do it yourself!" Agatha spat.

Alpha Mitch shook his head and looked back at the Oga again with a painful expression.

Seeing that Agatha wasn’t backing down, he walked to the door and looked back one more ti.

He walked outside and sighed, he stood facing the door as it had been locked from inside.

He ran a hand through his hair and turned towards his car just a few distance away.

"Let’s return to the pack house" he said to Gale and he nodded.

"Alpha?"

"Yeah?"

"You need to co here to the car if you want us to go back" Gale pointed out and Alpha Mitch realised he hadn’t taken a step away from Agatha’s doorstep.

Looking back at the door once more, he hurried towards Gale, his feet feeling heavy and as heavy as his guilt.

"Do you think she can heal him?" Alpha Mitch asked Gale softly as he sat beside him in the car.

"We have to believe she could do so, we don’t have much choice". Gale responded and he nodded slowly.
