"The Alpha is busy now. Have you gotten all you need?" Gale responded and struggled to ignore the fact that the Oga just called the Alpha by his na.
"Yes, we did". Lana responded as Tristan ignored his question and only looked around in confusion.
"Where is he?" Tristan asked again, louder as a nagging suspicion made it hard to let it go.
"Let’s go to your room and wait for the Alpha. I’m sure he is busy" His maid whispered beside him as she got nervous watching the Oga refusing to back down.
Tristan ignored the two of them and walked away, he wouldn’t have insisted on seeing the Alpha if not because of what happened earlier today.
He is slowly losing trust in the beta and starting to hate him.
He made his way to the Alpha’s study but Gale caught up with him before he could get there.
"Where are you headed to?" Gale asked, stopping in front of him and blocking his path.
Tristan looked up at him with an unyielding stubbornness.
"I’m going to et the Alpha," he replied softly.
"We are leaving here in a few minutes, why are you going to et him?" Gale asked through gritted teeth and yanked at his hair in frustration.
Tristan remained silent and only stared at him blankly.
He knew there was no point in arguing with the beta when he wouldn’t win anyways but he was unhappy and didn’t believe his words.
"Tristan" A voice called and the two of them turned at the sound of the Alpha’s voice.
Tristan raced towards him and the Alpha opened his arms to embrace him.
Gale rolled his eyes and left them to continue what he was doing.
Just a while ago, the Alpha King and Alpha King Raul had a full blown fight in the house turning the whole place into a shadow of its forr self.
It was sowhat expected and at the sa ti unnecessary, Alpha King Raul had thought the rumors he heard were true and that Alpha Mitch was getting weak but he learnt his lesson the hard way.
"Are you alright?" Tristan asked as the Alpha gently patted him on the back.
Alpha Mitch chuckled lightly and humd in response.
"Is there a reason not to?" He asked and that made Tristan step back a bit to stare into his smiling eyes.
"The other Alpha looked scary and I didn’t want to leave you alone with him but Gale told I was a distraction. Is that true?" Tristan asked, a part of him shattering as he watched the Alpha think about his words.
The beta’s words had broken his heart but he had to pretend and not show too much of his emotions.
He doesn’t want to be a distraction to the Alpha, and he was worried if he would beco the Alpha’s weakness.
Even if there is nothing he can do to help him, he shouldn’t be adding to his problem.
"Really?
Why does he look scary?.
Don’t I look scary too?" Alpha Mitch asked, ignoring the latter part of his statent because he intends to settle that with Gale later.
"You are ...also a little scary. When I first saw you, you were very scary but not anymore." Tristan replied softly, a blush creeping up his face as the Alpha listened to him with a smile on his face.
Alpha Mitch’s smile grew into a grin as the Oga hid his face in embarrassnt.
They haven’t had much conversation since they got married and he is starting to realize that the Oga likes to stare at him a lot but doesn’t like to get a stare back.
Gale stood at the end of the hallway watching them, Alpha Mitch’s eyes travelled to his direction and he rembered it was ti to leave.
"You will be going with Gale to the pack house, I have so things to tidy up here and I will be there before sun down".
"Can’t I go with you when you are done?" Tristan asked with a pout, his eyes shimring with a silent plea.
Alpha Mitch stopped to stare into his eyes for a few seconds and found his heart beat in a strange way.
He never expected it to happen so soon, but he was beginning to like the Oga.
"There is sothing I want to ask you" Tristan said suddenly as he recalled the big issue eating at his guts.
He needs to hear answers from the Alpha or he would be miserable in silence.
"Can it wait till later?".
Tristan hesitated before he slowly nodded.
"Yeah" he said softly.
"So go and get your stuff and wait in the car".
Tristan nodded and walked towards the direction of his room.
Gale approached the Alpha after Tristan had left.
He had watched their interaction and was beyond surprised to see how the Alpha acts around the Oga.
"Do you really think he is a distraction?" Alpha Mitch asked abruptly, causing Gale to frown for a few seconds.
"He is your mate, although I have my objections. I don’t think he would be a distraction" Gale replied with so difficulty.
"Do you rember you chose him for ?
You know I didn’t really care who I was going to get mated to as long as the pack’s elders shut up and kept their noses out of my business. But calling him a distraction is where I’m going to rule a line".
"Alpha, I do not–
"I’m sorry". Gale apologized with his head bowed slightly, and Alpha Mitch walked away without another word.
Gale’s expression changed as he watched the Alpha leave angrily.
His fist tightened and his teeth clenched before he turned to walk out of the mansion.
Tristan and his maid were waiting beside the car when he got to the parking lot and for the first ti ever he regretted a decision.
One thought struck his mind as he started the car.
He looked at the Oga paying his attention to the phone he held and the sinister thought in his mind blossod.
If the Oga vanishes, definitely the Alpha will return to normal.
His grip tightened on the steering and he stepped on the gas pedal causing the car to increase its speed.
