Chapter 94: Middle Of Nowhere (Ch.94)

~Sowhere In The Depths of The Western Seas~

Nile’s gaze roved over the sea bed, the Tide Trident grasped in his right hand as he supported the rman’s weight with his other hand.

Nile was not certain how long had passed since he had been portaled out of the Sea Palace, but he guessed it had been a little over two days,

Perhaps more, Nile could not tell for certain, it was had to keep track of ti while traveling through tumultuous whirlpools and encased in a Sea Pod.

Zariah had assured him he could command the Tide Trident of the Sea Kingdom with spirit magic and truly she had been right, but she had failed to give Nile a heads up of how trying an endeavor it would be.

Nile could feel a familiar queasy feeling in the pit of his stomach, it had been a constant presence over the past two days since he had first summoned a whirlpool,

Only to have himself shoot through the water at unimaginable speed, Nile had never had to endure such a disconcerting ans of travel,

As spirit guide of Crimson Moon, he was one of the most respected figures in the Crimson Moon and had never had to endure any discomfort in his life,

Zariah had made certain of that, although Nile was much older than his Alpha was, he found he was infact the one who looked up to her.

However it seed those days of comfort had co to pass, Nile had recently found himself wondering more often than not if it was possible to retch on an empty stomach.

What exactly would co out? His intestines?

Nile ntally reminded himself how silly it was for the all knowing spirit guide of Crimson Moon to have such insignificant thoughts, but Nile was willing to think of anything that could distract his mind at this mont.

Besides, Nile felt his train of thoughts had been rather justified.

Nile could not even recall the last ti he had eaten, his spirit magic nourished his body from the very essence of the Earth and unlike others, he did not awfully require mortal food and the likes on a regular basis.

Not for the first ti, Nile was grateful for this. He wondered how he would scavenge for sothing edible in the dark and dreary depths of the sea if it had been otherwise,

There were only live fishes and sea weeds, so of which were poisonous and while the abundance of fishes should have settled that situation, for Nile who did not eat the produce of any living thing.. the fishes were also not an option.

Nile heaved a sigh as he glanced down at the unconcious rman knowing there was still soone who would require nourishnt soon,

If there was one thing about the Fla Poison, it was the fact that the weaker the victim’s health was, the faster it’s effects and so the most important factor to hinder the poison was to ensure the victim was at maximum strength at all tis.

Nile could not believe his first visit to the Sea Kingdom had ended up taking such an unpleasant direction,

However as he glanced down at the young rman held in his arms, his eyes followed the trail of the beads of sweat forming on his forehead and trailing down,

Nile frowned, he could see clearly the effect of the fla poison, the cold blooded rman was actually perspiring even when they were surrounded by water all about with only an enchanted sea pod Nile had cast encasing them and keeping the water out.

Afflicted by the Fla Poison, the porcelain features of the rman squinted in discomfort ever so often and with only a few days left to live, Nile knew the rman’s pain was only just beginning.

Who could know better the maliciousness of the Fla Poison if not the spirit guide of Crimson Moon?

The blood of a fla wolf contained their fla energy making it even hotter than pure lava,

The fla poison was all consuming, burning it’s trail to the heart, it was the most excruciating and malicious poison known to the Crimson Moon and the one magic outlawed to their practice.

It had been early in the dark war that the effects the blood of the Fla Wolves would have when infused into any other creature had been discovered and since then, the Crimson Wolves had vowed never to use this as a weapon.

The fla wolves of the Crimson Moon would rather die a thousand tis than use their Fla Poison as a weapon against another, this was a fact Nile was willing to guarantee with his life.

So how then could this sa Fla Poison show up in the Sea Kingdom of all places?

And precisely when Zariah was the only Fla wolf present in the Sea Kingdom?

Now Zariah probably locked up, the Creator alone knowing how she fared when faced with the wrath of the entire Sea Kingdom and here he was, in the middle of nowhere with only the determination to fulfill his mission.

Nile understood the importance of his mission, it was even much greater than the life of this rman, yet Nile could not help his anger at the fact that he had left his Alpha alone and unprotected.

Nile’s heart ached at the re thought, his elent core throbbed within him, a reminder that his magic had been drained to get this far over the past two days.

The Tide Trident was still an treasure forged by the Creator himself, it had always been ant to be wielded by the r folk, the power was too tasking on anyone else, not even the first blood lycans were an exemption.

Nile knew he would have to take a rest and stabilize his magic, he could not continue at this pace and if he was completely drained of magic, he would never get to the Northern Seas in ti.

’Ten days...’ Nile thought to himself, ten days were all he had been given and with two days gone by, Nile had but eight days left before the rman in his arms t a certain and scorching death.

Nile loathed his weakness, had Zariah been here, she would have carried on with every precious second that made up those ten days given,

A fiery determination and an unyielding spirit, that was their Alpha Zariah and to Nile, she was the only master he was willing to give up everything for, as long as she could be safe.

Yet as much as Nile would have liked to press forwards against his depleted magic, Nile knew better.

Spirit magic was unlike the Fla elent, it was not accompanied by a fiery determination but a ditative calm,

To restore his strength, Nile knew he needed a solitary place to ditate and also he would need to check on the rman’s condition.

Although Zariah’s fla poison would keep the other fla poison at bay, if Zariah’s Fla Poison ever reacted otherwise, Nile was familiar enough with Zariah’s magic to stall it.

Nile’s attention was reverted back to stare ahead of him when a particular school of fishes swam by,

Hidden within the Sea pod, Nile and the rman would remain invisible to everything around them and Nile was grateful for it,

The fishes swam by without taking notice of Nile’s presence.

Nile heaved a sigh of relief, he knew enough about the Sea Kingdom to know each fish was a source of information to the rfolk,

The rfolk had the unique ability to communicate with all life of the Sea,

Nile could not trust any of this skittering creatures not to go telling on him to the Sea King and so casting an invisibility spell had been his best bet.

Nile recalled Zariah had also cast a spell on King Askel to force him to sleep,

Nile swore with how the Crimson wolves had begun casting spells which was actually not their original magic thod, they would soon be beating the witches and fairies at their ga.

However, although their elents were all-powerful and indomitable, it was much too volatile and dangerous, a weapon best left to be wielded to it’s full extent in tis of war and danger.

To wield the true arts of the spirit magic and summon ascended souls just to escape the Sea Palace, Nile did not believe he needed to explain why spells were inevitably their best option.

As Nile’s gaze trailed the school of fishes, he picked up the dim glow on their fins and was relieved to see they were exactly the type of fishes he had been searching for.

The moon fishes were known to live in large sea caves, well hidden and inconspicuous.

A perfect hideout for a few hours of ditation before he continued on his journey.

Nile wasted no ti summoning a small whirlpool that sent their sea pod shooting through the Sea in the direction the moon fishes had gone.
