Chapter 130: Make Them Disappear (Ch.130)

Alan stared down at them, his gaze narrowed as the sea octopus ca to a stop right above them, casting it’s massive shadow over them.

"The Sea Lords should not be here, this is forbidden grounds of the Northern Seas." Alan said in a cross tone.

"Stay back." Lord lven said to Zariah as he swam forwards just as Alan lifted his spear and dove down, lunging for them,

The waters spun furiously around him, his legs rging into a tail as he lunged for them, a huge sea wave following in his wake.

Lord lven drew his sword and with a flick of his tail, he shot through the water at blinding speed, the two warriors clashing in a wild torrent of waves.

Zariah blinked as Prince Treyton pulled her out of the way, the residual force from the clash between the two rs uprooting the rock behind which Zariah and the Sea Lords hid, leaving them exposed.

"This power puts my water wolves to sha." Zariah murmured, impressed at the display of sheer power and command over the sea that the rfolk could wield.

While the Crimson water wolves could command the water as the elent it was, it seed the rfolk were the sea themselves, one and the sa entity, there was no distinction.

The earth trembled violently and groaning sounds were heard from the sea bed, Zariah was not certain if it was as a result of the battle or an effect from down in the canyon.

The Northern battle rs had also been alerted by the battle between Lord lven and their commander Alan and now stared straight at Zariah and the Sea Lords.

Zariah glanced up at Lord lven and Alan who both circled each other slowly, it seed the first attack had just been a comparison of strengths.

Between the two, Zariah could see Lord lven had the upper hand but that did not really matter since Alan was backed by about two hundred battle rs who stood, awaiting his command to attack.

From the tension between the two battle rs and the fact that the Northern battle rs had not attacked yet but just stood clutching the hilts of their swords,

Zariah perceived the battle rs of the Northern Seas were familiar with Lord lven and reluctant to attack him.

Zariah quirked a brow as she leaned over to whisper to Prince Treyton who stood at her side.

"This Lord lven seems to command respect, who is he?" Zariah asked curiously, she had long noticed the other Sea Lords looked up to him for direction.

Zariah had thought all the Sea Lords were of equal rank, excluding Lord Imain who was of royal blood and slightly higher ranked than the rest of the Sea Lords due to his bloodline.

"Lord lven is my uncle, my father’s older brother." Prince Treyton explained.

Zariah turned to him in surprise, she had not realized King Himan even had siblings.

"Older? King Himan was not the eldest prince of the previous sea king?" Zariah asked in astonishnt.

Rulership of the Sea Kingdom was usually passed down to the eldest child of the reigning king and it continued down the lineage in that order.

Although it was not always absolute that the eldest child would inherit the throne, Zariah had just assud King Himan was the eldest prince.

"Lord lven was not born to the Sea Queen, he and my father share different mothers. His Mother was the previous Lord of the Coral Seas." Prince Treyton explained.

"I don’t even want to know." Zariah decided with a shake of her head, the intricacies behind that mix up was better left unknown.

"Lord lven is also Kristen’s father." Prince Treyton added.

"I would never have guessed." Zariah murmured, the Lord of the Coral Seas had not even acted like soone whose son had been poisoned.

"Alan, the blood of the Coral Seas runs in your veins, your father was my kin. I do not wish to battle you." Lord lven reasoned.

"Lord lven of the Coral Seas, my n and I hold you in high regard. This is the private affair of the Northern Seas, it is not for the Sea Lords to intervene. As long as you do not interfere, there will be no confrontation." Alan replied in a straight forward tone.

"Private affairs?! This is rebellion! You stand with a rebel, Lord Imain will ruin the Sea Kingdom and every last one of us along with!" Lord lven snarled furiously.

"As long as the Sea King cooperates, the Sea Do will remain intact. We have been the ones guarding the Sea Do for centuries, we do not wish to free the darkness anymore than you do." Alan replied.

Zariah frowned, she was slowly beginning to believe the battle rs of the Northern Seas did not truly understand Lord Imain’s intentions.

The whole sea kingdom would be at risk if the darkness was unleashed, the darkness was a force of nature, it did not distinguish between friend nor foe.

"Do you not hear the sounds? The waters have never been this troubled for decades. Whatever is going on down there is beyond what you are making it seem." Lord lven insisted.

"My battle rs will not stand aside, Lord lven." Alan replied adamantly.

Zariah felt a tug in her inner consciousness and it was only then she recalled Nile was sowhere around here.

Zariah lowered her mind block imdiately knowing Nile was trying to communicate his thoughts to her.

"Alpha...there are like two hundred battle rs so distance ahead of us and if you don’t do sothing soon, King Askel is going to kill them." Nile thought to Zariah.

Zariah hissed inaudibly as she realized King Askel, Nile and Kristen were over on the other side of the Northern battle rs.

"You can go into the canyon, give the trident to the Sea King, stop King Imain. I can take care of myself." Zariah thought to Nile.

"The Northern battle rs cast a barrier over the sea do, we can’t get through without alerting them. Either ways, we will have to fight them." Nile thought back.

"We can’t kill them, at least not unless it’s absolutely necessary. They are blinded by Lord Imain’s deception." Zariah thought back to Nile.

"I think King Askel has a very different opinion. Kristen is having a hard ti holding him from getting to you so unless you have a way to make them disappear, then I fear King Askel will not be rciful." Nile thought back.

"Disappear?" Zariah murmured to herself before her eyes widened slightly as an idea began forming in her head.

In the past lifeti, all these battle rs had beco dark rs and since there was no redeeming them, the battle rs of the Northern Seas had all been massacred.

This ti, the Northern battle rs were free from the possession of the darkness, whatever would have led to that state had not happened yet,

The Northern battle rs were just rebels, soldiers obeying the orders of their Lord, if Lord Imain was defeated, they naturally would surrender their arms.

This ti, they could escape the fate of death but that was only if Zariah could get them away from here,

If they remained here, Zariah was not certain she could make it in ti to stop Lord Imain and if she failed to stop him and the Sea Do was opened, not just the Northern battle rs but everyone in the seven seas would fall to the darkness.

"I have to make them disappear." Zariah murmured.

Zariah glanced around, everyone was focused on Lord lven and Alan which ant no one was paying attention to her.

Zariah thought over it, she could cast a fla seal surrounding the battle rs but her flas would be quickly dispersed by the sea waters,

It would only hold for a short ti, long enough to open a portal and transport the battle rs out of the Northern barrier.

With the battle rs gone, they would be locked out of the Northern Seas along with the armies of the other seas,

The play field would be levelled, Lord Imain would be left without his army just like the other Sea Lords.

However a portal of that magnitude could only be cast by a r of royal blood and he would have to work fast enough before Zariah’s seal was quenched.

The Tide Trident was on the other side, there was no way to get to it with Prince Treyton and there was also no way for Nile to bring it over to them across two hundred battle rs without being spotted.

But there was still one option, Kristen was of royal blood, he could wield the Trident from his end while Zariah could cast the seal from her end, if they worked in tandem... the two hundred battle rs would be gone before they even realized what was happening.

"Nile, I have a plan but I need Kristen’s help. You will have to take over restraining King Askel." Zariah thought to Nile.
