Cinian gave a start and loudly exclaid, "There must be! Chu Shuo is definitely the reincarnation of the God of Wealth! Definitely!"
Xin Chuan gave him a sidelong glance, feeling that the old monk had gone mad.
He crossed his arms over his chest and said, "Do you really think the Chu family’s ancestors have been continuously emitting green smoke? There are already two reincarnations; how could there be a third one?"
With that, he entered the Joy Spring Platform.
However, Cinian wasn’t disheartened and kept muttering.
Qing Feng, who found this very interesting, quickly asked, "Master, is what Zen Master Cinian says true?"
Cinian’s eyes also lit up with excitent, expecting that his guess was correct.
Siheng replied in a sowhat annoyed tone, "I’ve never ascended to godhood, how would I know what the divine realm is like?"
In the end, everything happens according to fate, and they need not inquire too much.
Only those with destiny can receive a glance in this lifeti, becoming friends or family, which is an even greater fate.
After resting, Siheng didn’t linger outside.
Cinian followed him.
His disciples were all gravely wounded.
Qiao Nanyi and Qing Feng worked together to bring the large Spirit Boat back into the cave.
What was supposed to be a simple task turned out to be more troubleso than expected. The large Spirit Boat bumped and scraped around before it finally returned to its original position.
Qing Feng, confused, said, "What’s going on? I saw the princess controlling it quite easily earlier."
Qiao Nanyi sighed softly. "Clearly, we have no talent for operating the Spirit Boat."
"Does it really require talent?" Qing Feng didn’t believe it and wanted to try again.
Qiao Nanyi yanked him down. "If you have no talent, don’t waste any more spirit stones. Let’s go back and see what we can do to help."
Reluctantly, Qing Feng agreed.
Back at the Joy Spring Platform, Nanli had already treated half of the injured. She had used the appropriate pills or Wound-Healing Talisman formations on them.
Siheng, watching her busy figure, felt a twinge of pity.
Returning to his true form, his dical skills were decent, though he didn’t use talismans or formations; instead, he relied on incantations.
With his help, Nanli’s work beca much easier.
Next was Shanxun.
His external injuries weren’t too severe, but during his battle with Zhai Xing, his internal organs were badly shaken.
Nanli checked his pulse and paused suddenly. Turning to Shanxun, she said, "Your internal injuries aren’t too serious, but... you have an old affliction in your body that hasn’t been dealt with properly. It’s affecting your ridians and Dantian."
Shanxun, having recovered a bit, darkened his expression upon hearing this. "Yes... when I was young, I was wounded in my ridians. While cultivating, it did have so impact."
Cinian leaned in, a sorrowful look on his face. "Nanli, this injury has been there for two or three hundred years."
He then explained the backstory.
It turned out that Shanxun had participated in the sect’s selection competition when he was younger. With exceptional talent, he was poised to win, but soone from the Chi family, jealous of Shanxun’s prominence, lured him into a secluded corner.
The mbers of the Chi family, along with their servants, ambushed him. Shanxun couldn’t fight back and was severely wounded.
Fortunately, Cinian passed by just in ti and saved him.
Shanxun’s life was spared, and Cinian, seeing his potential and possessing Buddha bones, took him as his disciple.
However, the injuries from that ti had never been fully healed.
Nanli, hearing this, was impressed. "For you to reach the Golden Core stage despite such an old injury, that’s truly remarkable."
Shanxun smiled awkwardly, a bit bashful.
Cinian quickly spoke on his behalf. "Indeed, of my twelve disciples, his talent is the highest. If we could completely cure his old injury, who knows what great fortune he might have."
It wasn’t that the Shi family didn’t care, but the Divine Buddha Sect was simply too poor!
Cinian’s eyes sparkled as he looked at Nanli.
Clearly, he wanted her to help.
Since the twelve Shans had worked so hard, Nanli couldn’t ignore them and said, "Alright, I’ll help him treat it in the next few days."
"Thank you, thank you! Nanli, you’re truly kind," Cinian quickly praised.
Shanxun’s smile deepened, and he beca even more excited, stuttering as he spoke, "T-Thank you, Nanli."
Once the twelve Shans were treated, Qiao Nanyi and Qing Feng ca to assist, distributing the rooms for everyone.
However, when they reached Yun Yubai’s room, Xin Chuan suddenly said, "He’s not suited to stay in a guest room. He should be locked up in the prison, just like Yan Luo."
Bai Hao hesitated for a mont before nodding. "I think so too."
Qiao Nanyi and Qing Feng asked, and they learned that Yun Yubai wasn’t just a hybrid of immortal and demon blood, but his mother was also a Demon Clan princess.
The two had just fought against Demon Clan Asuras, and their expressions darkened.
Though they both thought Yun Yubai should be locked up, without their master’s order, they wouldn’t voice their opinions.
Nanli, however, spoke up. "Didn’t I say before? His immortal seal has already fused both bloodlines. He won’t lose his mind."
"Nanli, I’m working for you, but that doesn’t an I’m willing to risk my life! What if you’re wrong? What if he has ill intentions? What if... we all end up dead?" Xin Chuan said coldly.
Having crawled through the shadows for many years, he was naturally cautious.
Nanli’s expression was firm as she responded, "Master Yun has helped greatly in the past. I won’t repay his kindness by locking him in a prison. Besides, although he’s a hybrid of immortal and demon blood and his identity is awkward, he’s never hard the innocent."
"Co to think of it, he’s accumulated more virtue than you, Xin, so what right do you have to speak ill of him? Here’s the deal—if you’re afraid, then leave. I won’t stop you."
Yun Yubai hadn’t woken up yet.
The Crimson Glow Peak Master, standing beside him, cast a grateful glance at Nanli.
So did Yun Shen.
Xin Chuan ground his teeth in frustration. "Celestial Sovereign! You are the Venerable Master of the Immortal World, and you should kill the hybrid of immortal and demon blood to prevent future trouble. How can you let your wife act recklessly like this?"
At this mont, Xin wasn’t sure whether he was afraid of death or envious.
Siheng’s expression remained calm as he said, "You just called A’Li my wife. Naturally, I’ll listen to her."
Xin Chuan was left speechless.
Cinian quickly interjected, trying to smooth things over. "How about this? I’m sure you all know Zen Master Nanli’s capabilities. Let’s let Nanli set up a formation in Master Yun’s room, making sure no one enters or leaves. That way, everyone can rest easy."
Bai Hao quickly agreed. "Good idea! Let’s do that!"
Since Siheng was already on Nanli’s side, Xin Chuan wouldn’t press the issue any further.
It was getting late, and his spiritual energy was severely depleted. Where else could he go?
Nanli had no objections and nodded. "Alright."
She then handed the Sky Plough Pearl to Siheng, asking him to replace the formation barrier around Jialan Celestial Mountain.
Siheng took the Sky Plough Pearl. "I’ll do it now."
Xin Chuan, though satisfied with the solution, still planned to keep an eye on things to ensure Nanli stuck to her decision.
Nanli didn’t mind; if he wanted to watch, let him watch.
Unexpectedly, Crimson Nine Lands also showed interest, transforming into human form and moving closer to Nanli to watch her draw symbols.
The young man in red robes looked gallant and spirited.
Nanli smiled. "You’re interested in this too?"
