However, Nanli took out the Dark Moon Sword.

She stamped a wind rune onto the sword.

With a slight step forward, an intense bolt of lightning struck toward her.

The others were startled.

With a flick of her wrist, Nanli swung the sword, and the sword energy directly blocked the lightning.

The violent wind, still swirling around the sword, blasted toward the thunderclouds, splitting them apart.

Boom!

The others were speechless in shock.

The sword energy, combined with the fierce wind, actually split the massive thundercloud into two halves!

Due to the wind’s force, the parted clouds quickly moved apart, revealing a path of sunlight.

Naturally, no lightning could strike in that path.

Nanli sheathed the Dark Moon Sword calmly, then turned toward the shipmaster.

"You’ve been watching for a long ti, but still haven’t learned how to control the Spirit Boat," she said with a half-smile. "Let handle it."

The shipmaster clung tightly to the control wheel, "Lord Nanli, that sword just now was incredible. You’ve worked hard. Let drive the boat, and you take a rest."

Even though he’d learned the new breathing technique, he still couldn’t handle Nanli’s speed at the helm.

He was not just worried about his companions but about himself, too, since he had already emptied his stomach.

Nanli, seeing his thoughts clearly, didn’t comply. She grabbed the control wheel from him.

This ti, everyone quickly sat down and held on tightly.

The Spirit Boat was large.

They could either stop outside the city or land on the open space in front of the palace.

However, after being isolated for over a thousand years, the common folk would likely be curious about the Spirit Boat and gather around.

Nanli controlled the boat directly toward the palace and landed.

While the ascent had been smooth, her descent was anything but gentle—she made a direct drop from thousands of feet above.

The people of Asura Palace almost lost their souls from fright.

It wasn’t until they had landed for a while that the nausea finally stopped.

The Imperial Guards, startled by the sudden descent of the ship, were even more surprised when they saw Nanli erge. They imdiately shouted, "It’s the Ninth Princess! Quickly, put away your weapons!"

They hastily sent a report, and Chu Yan, who had been in the Imperial Study, rushed over, leaving his official papers behind.

Palace attendants, holding ceremonial instrunts, struggled to keep up, as Chu Yan was using his light-footed skills.

Though it felt like he was zipping through, he still thought he was moving too slowly.

"Sixth sister!" In his panic and excitent, Chu Yan blurted out.

Although it had only been a few days, he had visited the Prince Yu Mansion to check on Zen Master Cinian and the others. He had learned just how dangerous their recent experiences had been.

Now, seeing his sixth sister in good health and spirits, his worries were finally put to rest.

"It’s fine, it’s fine," he muttered, his eyes reddening. "I saw the array. Sixth sister, you’re amazing."

"Just rest a bit," he added, feeling guilty for not being able to help her.

Nanli grinned, "Our territory is safe now; those people can’t co in."

Chu Yan looked toward the ship and the people on board who were still vomiting. "Are they your new subordinates? And... what is this massive ship?"

Nanli briefly explained the situation and then added, "Your Majesty, later I’ll bring so cultivation texts for you to look at, so you won’t be so surprised when you see such things in the future."

She also looked at the Asura Palace people and summoned a talisman to seal their spiritual energy. "Take them for now. I’ll leave the Spirit Boat here for the mont."

"Alright," Chu Yan nodded. "Are you planning to return to the Duke of Anguo’s Residence? Let escort you."

"No," Nanli replied. "Shandu’s inner core is damaged. I need to use the Five Elents Nascent Soul Pill to help him, and then assist him in enduring the Wrath of Thunder."

"But Your Majesty needn’t worry. I’ll take him far away so as not to frighten the citizens."

The Wrath of Thunder was a dangerous power.

The common folk wouldn’t understand, and could easily be scared to death.

Chu Yan frowned and instinctively grabbed Nanli’s arm, his face filled with worry. "But I know you’ve hardly slept these past few days. You’ve just set up this massive array, and now you’re going to help soone withstand the Wrath of Thunder? You should rest for a day first."

Nanli had indeed been working non-stop for days, without a single break.

However, with her cultivation and the aid of spirit stones, it didn’t cause her much harm.

But just then, an angry roar echoed: "What?! A’Li, how can you be so reckless?! Have you forgotten the three children in your belly?!"

It was the Honorary Emperor.

The Imperial Guards and palace attendants all knelt in unison.

Hearing the news, the Honorary Emperor had imdiately rushed over from Chang’an Palace.

Fortunately, he didn’t have to attend court or review petitions, and his health was still strong. He moved quickly, never tiring.

Nanli rubbed her forehead in exasperation.

The Asura Palace people also turned their gazes toward Nanli, then back at the yellow bile they had thrown up, wondering who the one actually pregnant could be.

"Honorary Emperor," Nanli said flatly, "There’s no need to shout so loudly."

The Honorary Emperor suddenly rembered to keep the secret and blushed, clearing his throat. "I’m just worried about you. Look at yourself..."

Hmm?

Why did A’Li seem a bit more beautiful this ti? Her complexion was unusually rosy.

Nanli felt a little helpless.

Fortunately, the array was already in place, and even though Qingwu’s spies might still be here, they couldn’t send ssages back because of the array’s isolation. Neither sound transmission talismans nor Telestones would work.

"I know my body well enough. You don’t need to worry, Honorary Emperor," Nanli reassured him.

The Honorary Emperor, flustered and making a mistake in his worry, no longer appeared as imposing. He mumbled, "I’ve read those cultivation texts, and I know how dangerous it is to undergo the Wrath of Thunder. Can’t soone else help? Zen Master Cinian, perhaps?"

Nanli gently shook her head. "No, Zen Master Cinian’s injuries haven’t healed. He can’t assist with the Wrath of Thunder."

The Honorary Emperor opened his mouth but saw Nanli’s resolute expression, so he swallowed his words.

He turned to angrily scold soone else: "Damn my Ninth Brother! He hasn’t taken any responsibility as a husband or father! I don’t think you should let him na the children!"

Let him na them!

ntioning Siheng made Nanli’s gaze complex. However, their past entanglents, both in this life and the last, were still unclear, and she didn’t want others to know just yet.

She said, "When he returns, Honorary Emperor, you should give him a good lesson."

"Naturally!" The Honorary Emperor agreed imdiately.

Though, he likely would only scold him, and if it ca to blows, his life would be in danger.

Nanli didn’t linger. She headed directly to the Prince Yu Mansion.

Just in ti, Shandu’s condition was worsening.

Cinian had already sensed that his disciple’s inner core was on the brink of completely cracking.
