The Eight Paws Evil Bee paused briefly before turning to face Nanli. The buzzing sound was particularly grating.

Though the won in the back were hiding, when they saw the Eight Paws Evil Bee preparing to attack, one of them mustered the courage to shout, "Miss, run quickly! That Evil Bee is highly poisonous!"

She had witnessed Xuanyuan Fu using the Evil Bee to punish rebels, and the sight of those rebels writhing on the ground in pain from the poison was unforgettable.

"Run? How can she possibly avoid the Evil Bee?!" Xuanyuan Fu sneered, "Get moving now!"

He was impatient. Even if the woman before him was beautiful, he couldn’t risk his own life. Killing her would be the best way to end it.

But as the Evil Bee approached Nanli, it suddenly stopped, not advancing any further.

Everyone was stunned.

Xuanyuan Fu furrowed his brows and continued commanding, "Kill her!"

The Eight Paws Evil Bee was a demonic creature with a certain sense of danger. It didn’t dare to approach, sensing the extrely dangerous aura around Nanli. If it got too close, it would be utterly destroyed!

The Eight Paws Evil Bee seed to want to retreat.

They couldn’t afford to anger her.

Xuanyuan Fu, enraged, shouted, "What’s going on?! Have you forgotten the contract with the Enchanting Bugs?!"

These demonic creatures were bound to obey the orders of the ruling monarchs and could not defy them. But when faced with death or defiance, they chose survival.

Moreover, Xuanyuan Fu no longer had the King of Enchanting Bugs to fully control them.

So, the Eight Paws Evil Bees charged forward but kept a safe distance, flying away from the palace.

"???" Nanli was puzzled.

Xuanyuan Fu was also stunned; he had never encountered such a situation before!

However, Nanli promptly used a Fire Talisman to block the palace entrance, leaving the Eight Paws Evil Bee with no way to escape. The fire she conjured was extraordinary--despite being quite a distance away, the Evil Bees felt an intense heat that seed to threaten to consu them.

They had no choice but to fly to Nanli’s side, refraining from attacking. They neatly arranged themselves to form characters: "Do not kill us."

Nanli was a bit surprised, "After a thousand years of evolution, you can read now?"

Xuanyuan Fu was almost enraged to the point of vomiting blood, "What’s going on?! What is wrong with these Evil Bees?!"

Usually, he had the Evil Bees form characters for his amusent, but he never expected them to learn to surrender and plead for rcy!

The Evil Bees were unmoved by his angry growls. After all, Nanli’s Fire Talisman was far more terrifying.

Xuanyuan Fu soon realized the situation, his body trembling slightly. He swallowed hard and said, "Fairy... Fairy, if you have any demands, please state them. As the ruler of Border Nation, I will fulfill all your wishes."

Nanli fixed her gaze on him and suddenly smirked, "Alright, I want one of your eyeballs. Remove it and give it to ."

Xuanyuan Fu’s face went pale. He forced a very unpleasant smile, "Or... I could offer you so gold and silver treasures?"

"I don’t need money. I only want your eyeball." Nanli’s voice grew colder.

Unexpectedly, one of the Eight Paws Evil Bees darted out with lightning speed and directly drilled into Xuanyuan Fu’s right eye!

"Ah--!"

The pain from his eye caused him to collapse to the ground. As he reached up to drive away the Evil Bee, it had already forcibly removed his eyeball!

It was a bloody ss.

Xuanyuan Fu’s face was sared with blood as he clutched his right eye and rolled around on the ground. anwhile, the Evil Bee flew over happily, presenting the bloody eyeball to Nanli as if seeking praise.

Nanli’s lips twitched, "No need. Just throw it away."

The Evil Bee paused for a mont, understanding her aning, and threw the eyeball into the fire, burning it completely.

The other Evil Bees, seeing this, flapped their wings more violently and rushed to attack Xuanyuan Fu!

"Stop! Stop!" Nanli shouted.

The swarm of Evil Bees imdiately halted, obediently facing Nanli.

Nanli was puzzled. These Evil Bees, bound by the Enchanting Bug contract with the Xuanyuan royal family, were now pleasing her and had suddenly turned against their master.

But she set this aside for the mont.

Xuanyuan Fu, enduring the pain, had already crawled toward the screen behind him.

Nanli cut through the screen with her sword, splitting it in two, and then held her breath.

On the ground and bed lay several won, twisted and exposed, their bodies uncovered. Their skin was marked with horrific bruises and blood. They were already dead, their vacant eyes staring upwards.

It was evident that they had suffered unimaginable tornt in life.

The palace was filled with a suppressing array, and the souls of these won were slowly being devoured.

Such cruelty!

No wonder He Qinian had bet everything to seek her help.

Anyone with a bit of familial affection would be unable to bear seeing their loved ones suffer such tornt and have their souls scattered!

Nanli gripped the hilt of her sword, took a few deep breaths, and wished she could imdiately dismber Xuanyuan Fu.

She destroyed the array with one strike.

The souls of the deceased won were freed, though sowhat incomplete.

Nanli tried to gather the scattered clothes from the ground to cover them, but most were torn and insufficient for covering their bodies.

"Miss, we’ll take care of it."

The won who had co in to serve saw that the danger was over and ca forward one by one.

Seeing this scene, who wouldn’t be moved to tears?

Had they not been lucky enough to encounter this young lady, they might have ended up being tortured to death by Xuanyuan Fu.

They removed their outer garnts and dressed the deceased won, tying their belts securely to prevent the clothing from falling off.

Nanli used the Heaven Star Brush to draw a few Soul-Gathering Talismans to repair their souls, ensuring they could be reborn whole.

She even opened the path to the underworld to make things easier.

But one woman, unwilling to leave, had her incomplete soul drift to Nanli and said, "Brother, I want to see my brother one last ti... I want to see him."

Seeing her pitiful state, Nanli decided to fulfill her wish, "What is your brother’s na and where does he live?"

The woman shook her head gently, looking confused.

Nanli thought her soul was incomplete and her mory was impaired, so she stored her in a spiritual pouch, intending to ask her more thoroughly once her soul was repaired.

After finishing these tasks, Nanli approached Xuanyuan Fu.

Xuanyuan Fu, covering his right eye and trembling with fear, said, "Fairy! I was wrong! I know I was wrong. Please have rcy!"

The pain and fear made his voice tremble, and he was sweating profusely.

He had tried to sneak away, but the Evil Bees kept him in place, too afraid to make any large movents.

Nanli asked, "I heard you sent the King of Enchanting Bugs on a mission. Who did you send and where did they go?"

Xuanyuan Fu hesitated, "I just sent the Enchanting Bug king out to get so fresh experiences. It couldn’t stay by my side all the ti."

Nanli probed his body with two fingers, confirming there were no Defense Talismans, and then placed a True Word Talisman on him.

She wiped her hands and asked, "Say it again."
