Jun Yexuan stopped talking and kept his eye on Qiao Qing.
Though his heart felt full, the pain in his chest was spreading.
Compared to his physical pain, he was more worried about her ntal pain.
Jun Yexuan couldn’t help but grab Qiao Qing’s hand and rub it.
At the sa ti, he asked, “How did you find here?”
Before Mu Jinghang could answer, the fox hopped onto the bed and wagged its furry tail as if asking for treats.
Jun Yexuan smiled and patted the fox.
“You’re sowhat useful.”
The firefox, “…”
What do you an by sowhat?!
I’m obviously very useful, okay?!
You ungrateful man!
Mu Jinghang asked, “Ah, so your illness ca back and you were kidnapped here. It must be Emperor Yin’s doing, right? Did he really give you your disease? He definitely planted this didn’t he?”
Jun Yexuan rembered what he saw before he passed out. The mory made him shut his eyes.
This reaction answered all of Mu Jinghang’s questions.
“Damn that old man! He’s capable of hurting his own grandson?! I don’t think he knows anything but power!”
Jun Yexuan didn’t speak.
Just then, Qiao Qing stood up and took so silver needles out of the bag she carried around. Quickly, she stabbed the needles into a few spots on Jun Yexuan’s chest.
It didn’t take long for Jun Yexuan’s chest to swell up.
Underneath his white skin, sothing that looked like a red rope was bouncing left to right. Everyti that thing hit the skin, Jun Yexuan’s chest swelled up.
Mu Jinghang widened his eyes, “What is that?!”
Cold haze glossed over Qiao Qing’s eyes and her tone was ice cold, “It’s a venomous creature.”
She was stupid. Normal dical machines couldn’t diagnose him so why didn’t she think of this?! She should’ve thought of it!
Mu Jinghang’s mouth opened wide, “He was poisoned? In real life, people actually poison others with creatures?! I thought that only happened in movies!”
Qiao Qing used her needles to try and move the creature into a non-fatal area and to limit its movent.
She said, “This kind of poison isn’t fictional. It beca prohibited by law so people stopped researching. However, minority culture groups still use it at tis – especially when they want to hurt people.”
Mu Jinghang nodded, “So that old man found such a thod to control my brother’s body. How plotting!”
“Ah, but the creature itself is visible. Can’t you open up his skin and physically remove it?”
“No.” Qiao Qing said, “Doing that would kill him instantly.”
Mu Jinghang was stunned and watched her move, “Then, what are you doing?”
Qiao Qing, “Suppressing it.”
She then asked Jun Yexuan, “Does it still hurt?”
Jun Yexuan’s heart was ward by that question and he shook his head, “I’m much better.”
Mu Jinghang watched as the creature in Jun Yexuan’s chest beca less and less active. Now, it was acting like a deflated balloon – almost spongy.
He frowned, “Can we really not physically remove it? Must it stay inside? Can we only ever just suppress it when it decides to attack?”
“No,” Qiao Qing answered, “A certain kind of dicine can lure it out.”
Mu Jinghang, “What king of dicine?”
