Inside the restaurant.
When the food arrived, Gong Shao walked out with Shen Ruoyi.
“Third young master Jun, first young master Qi, Ms. Qiao,” Gong Shao greeted.
Mu Jinghang, “…”

Qi Yusen and Jun Yexuan both greeted back, “Uncle.”
Qiao Qing was about to speak when a little fox hopped off her shoulder and landed on the dining table.
“Co back!” Qiao Qing scolded.
The little foxed eyed Qiao Qing, then glanced at the delicious food on the table. In the end, it gulped hard and went back on her shoulder.
Shen Ruoyi and Gong Shao showed signs of shock, “That fox…”
Gong Yi said, “Your future daughter-in-law tad it. Right now, that fox is her pet.”
Jun Yexuan couldn’t contain himself, “You try and say that again?”
“Third young master Jun.” Gong Shao smiled, “He’s young and ill-mannered, please don’t laugh at him.”
Jun Yexuan, “Since he’s too young, then why don’t the two of us chat? Whatever deal you want to make; the Jun Corporation will make sure to fulfill it. As long as you nod and help us out, you can make any request you want.”
Gong Shao turned to look at Gong Yi, and Gong Yi smiled, “Dad, I told you this is nothing you or mom should worry about. If you must interfere, then you can take back your position as the man of the house. I won’t ask for it ever again.”
Gong Shao frowned at those words and then turned back to smile at his guests, “Let’s eat, eat.”
Jun Yexuan and the others’ hearts dropped. So Gong Yi was right, even his parents obey him.
When everyone sat down, the little fox jumped onto the table again. It was about to feast when Qiao Qing grabbed onto its tail, “This isn’t the place for you to eat.”
The fox’s lips turned flat as it expressed its sadness.
Shen Ruoyi smiled and said to her butler, “Uncle Wu, go fetch so food for that fox.”
“Yes, ma’am.” Wu Yong turned to leave. Before long, he returned with the maids who held onto a plate of chicken, a plate of rabbit, and so water.
The fox’s eyes lit up. After it received permission from Qiao Qing, it leaped over and gulped down the food.
Shen Ruoyi found this interesting, “What’s the fox’s na?”
Gong Yi said, “It doesn’t have one.”
He then looked over to Qiao Qing while he placed so chicken wings in her bowl.
“Qingqing can na it though.”
Qiao Qing stared at the chicken that was now in her bowl and fell into silence.
Jun Yexuan’s face went dark as he picked out the chicken from her bowl and put it in his own, “Let thank you on Qingqing’s behalf, young master Gong.”
Gong Yi stabbed his chopsticks against the table and smiled at Jun Yexuan, “Third young master Jun, are you planning on kissing ?”
Jun Yexuan’s hand shook and the chopsticks fell off the table.
Mu Jinghang heartlessly laughed.
Jun Yexuan glared at him and then shoved aside the chicken and his utensils, “Get a new set.”
After the maid took those away, Jun Yexuan said to Gong Yi, “You want to stir up drama, I’ll accompany you. But Qingqing is my girl. No matter what you do, you will fail at stealing her away from !”
Gong Shao and Shen Ruoyi exchanged glances at the awkwardness.
Gong Yi didn’t press any further and looked to Qiao Qing for a new topic, “Have you thought of a na for the fox?”
Qiao Qing took a peek at the fox and its bright red fur that earned its “firefox” title. Casually, she said, “I’m just going to call it ‘Red’”.
Gong Yi, “…”
Everyone else, “…”
The little fox, who was excitedly eating, heard her words and choked on a bone.
