Qi Yusen said, “Don’t worry. I’m still the oldest of the family. Without my permission, there is no way she’ll take over the spot that belongs to Qingqing.”
Qi Yuyang shot Qiao Qing a look, “So, are we going to introduce Qingqing to them or not?”
Qi Yusen’s lips curled up gracefully, “We will. Not only will we introduce her to the family, but we’re also going to do it proudly. Honestly, the way things are right now is good. Once we introduce Qingqing to the family, there’s not much they can do to us. After all, we have more power on our side.”
Qi Yuyang rolled his eyes, “What do you an by that?”
Qi Yusen, “You’ll find out when the ti cos.”
Qi Yuyang knew right away that he had sothing bad planned. He couldn’t help but shudder.
Luckily, his brother was on the sa boat as him. Or else he would be punished skinless by the rest of the family.
At that ti, they had no idea how big of a hole their big brother dug.
When Jun Yexuan heard about the plan to introduce Qiao Qing to the family, his heart sank. However, he decided not to say anything selfish.
He said to Qiao Qing, “What is that ingredient you need?”
Qiao Qing answered, “Sandalwood.”
“Sandalwood?” Before Jun Yexuan could respond, Qi Yuyang had already interrupted, “What do you need sandalwood for?”
Qiao Qing’s eyes brightened, “Fourth brother, you know about it?”
“Of course!” As Qi Yuyang spoke, he looked over to Qi Yusen, “Isn’t there an auction coming back that’s been heavily advertising its inclusion of sandalwood?”
Qiao Qing was surprised to hear that, “Really?!”
Jun Yexuan was bewildered. Qiao Qing really was not herself today.
It was obvious to him now how important her father was to her.
Though he knew he shouldn’t be jealous of his father-in-law, his heart still felt sour.
The Qi brothers were also startled by Qiao Qing’s reaction. Qi Yunyan grinned, “It is true. Since it’s our grandparents’ birthday, we’ve been keeping an eye on what we can get our hands on as a gift to them. We are trying to see if we can score so items in this year’s auction.”
Qi Yusen simply said, “Qingqing, if you want sandalwood, I’ll get it for you.”
Jun Yexuan, “I can get it for her too.”
Qi Yusen glared at him, not happy with his decision to steal the spotlight.
Qiao Qing, “In case sothing unexpected happens, I must attend the auction too. I have to get my hands on that product!”
The Qi brothers were a little surprised to find her so passionate. Qi Yuyang tentatively asked, “Qingqing, why do you want this?”
Qiao Qing aningfully glanced around the room, “To save my dad.”

That night, the Qi brothers finally found out why Qiao Qing studied and researched so hard. Their hearts ached for her.
At the sa ti, they hated that newly adopted girl more.
The next day, Qiao Qing ca to school as usual. When she went into her classroom, she found everyone to be more chaotic than usual. Loads of people stood around this one desk.
This class was a mandatory course she had to take for her major. Everyone in there belonged to the sa cohort.
Despite so, Qiao Qing didn’t recognize many of these people.
Chen Nanfeng saw Qiao Qing walk in and rushed up to her like a girl in love, “Qingqing! I look forward to this class every week because I get to be with you!”
Qiao Qing pushed her backpack under her desk. After she stared for so ti, she finally said with certainty, “Chen Nanfeng.”
“Ah! Finally! The Goddess rembered my na!”
