Qiao Qing didn’t say much and remained as calm as always, “Didn’t you want to watch the video? Let’s go.”
“Ah, yes!” Since Qiao Qing wasn’t angry and didn’t bla him, Shen Jie couldn’t help but exclaim how mature this girl was.
The two took the elevator to the 24th floor. After they got out, Shen Jie wanted to lead the way but Qiao Qing had already turned right herself.
Shen Jie was silently confused. He then tried to keep up with Qiao Qing’s pace.
He followed as Qiao Qing found her way, without hesitation, to the eting room he planned to bring her to.
Just as she was about to enter, she suddenly thought of sothing. She turned her head and looked over to Shen Jie, “Director Shen, is this the place?”
Shen Jie, “...”
He debated internally for a while before he asked, “You’re familiar with the Sky Entertainnt building?”
Qiao Qing’s lips curled up, “You brought here.”
Shen Jie, “... You were the one who walked all the way here yourself! I was behind you this whole ti!”
Qiao Qing, “... I followed my sixth sense. Are we going to watch the video or not?”
“... We are!” Though Shen Jie was speechless towards Qiao Qing’s pitiful lie, he didn’t want to drag this on. She was hard to get a hold of and he had to give up on wondering why she knew this building so well.
He pushed open the door and went in, “I’m very satisfied with how the filming has been. Yi Qinghan’s acting skill was of course, perfect. That girl really surprised as well. At first, I thought she may have talent, but I didn’t expect her to improve so quickly. Halfway through filming, she’d get through her scenes in one take.”
Qiao Qing nodded. With her eyes softer now, she walked up to the table.
Shen Jie pulled the chair for her, took out his laptop, and started to play the edited video. As the video played, he expressed his opinions.
At one scene, Qiao Qing frowned and pressed pause, “Redo this kiss scene.”
Shen Jie instantly slapped his own leg, “You see it too! Seriously, I’m a perfectionist. This production is very very good with the exception of that scene. This kiss scene isn’t as great as it could’ve been. We fild for two days just for this scene but this was the best we could get out of those two.”
Qiao Qing turned to look at him, “How co? What happened?”
Shen Jie complained, “When this scene was happening, manager Fu sat on the side like a lightbulb.”
“Xiyan was fine with all the other scenes but since her boyfriend was sitting there, she got extrely nervous and had to redo everything multiple tis.”
“Yi Qinghan was okay at first. However, because of those two, he seed to have forgotten how to act too!”
Qiao Qing tapped the table and observed the props in the video, “We fild this indoors?”
Shen Jie nodded, “Yeah, it’s too hard to find an actual set for the described location. So we used a green screen.”
Just then, soone knocked on the door. Yi Qinghan then walked in and winked at Qiao Qing, “I heard you were coming this afternoon to look at our video so I ca by without sleeping.”
Shen Jie sweated silently. Actor Yi sure was an unshakable celebrity. He dared to flirt with third young master Jun’s woman.
Qiao Qing rolled her eyes at him. She was about to speak when Fu Xiuyu ca in with Lin Xiyan.
“Qingqing!” Lin Xiyan broke away from Fu Xiuyu’s embrace and ran over.
Fu Xiuyu smiled at Qiao Qing, “I heard the screenwriter was coming to inspect how things were going. So I figured Xiyan should be here to hear what you have to say.”
