Qiao Nian didn’t think too much. She thought she was just being a lightweight.
She shook it off, leaned in, and asked nicely, “Cousin, are you drunk?”
Qiao Qing half-opened her eyes, “What is it?”
Qiao Nian felt a little hot but she did her best to ignore the discomfort.
She smiled, “I reserved rooms upstairs. If you are drunk, I can take you there to rest.”
Though she was proposing sothing, before Qiao Qing could speak, she was already dragging Qiao Qing out of the room.
On her way out, she gave Xu Yingying a glance.
Since Lin Xiyan was no good at declining others, she too, was drunk.
When she noticed the exchange of glances between Qiao Nian and Xu Yingying, her heart thumped.
“Qingqing.” She forced herself to stand up and struggled her way to the door.
The mont she exited the room, she slamd into the arms of soone who had the faint scent of pine.
Qi Rui was on his way to the bathroom and coincidentally slamd into her. He quickly took his hands out of his pockets and caught onto the girl’s fragile body.
When the girl raised her head, Qi Rui froze, “Lin Xiyan? What happened? You’re... drunk?? You are having dinner here too?”
Lin Xiyan grabbed onto his arms. With her face red and her being drunkenly flustered, when she spoke, she spoke with a lisp, “Quick... quickly... quickly, go find Qingqing. I think Qiao Nian... Qiao Nian... has a plan.”
Qi Rui looked around the hallway and didn’t find a trace of Qiao Qing.
Just as he was about to search, he saw a handso man walk towards him with his hands in his pockets.
Mu Jinghang went up to him, “Don’t worry about Qiao Qing. You’re in charge of taking this girl back ho.”
Qi Rui recognized him to be one of the guys at Qiao Qing’s coming of age party. So he rely nodded.
He lowered his head, saw Lin Xiyan’s tiny red face, and his ears turned pink as well.
Bending down a little, he picked up Lin Xiyan princess style and strolled away.
Mu Jinghang shook his head and giggled. Are all the young boys so pure with the girls they’re in love with these days?
So only his third brother was a monster.
Thinking about this, Mu Jinghang couldn’t help but spend a second mourning Qiao Qing.
Upstairs, Qiao Nian endured the discomfort she felt and managed to drag Qiao Qing to room 3209.
No lights were on. In the darkness, Qiao Qing allowed Qiao Nian to do whatever she wanted.
Or in other words, she was giving Qiao Nian a chance to realize what she was doing and correct herself.
After Qiao Nian pulled Qiao Qing onto the bed, she dusted off her hands. No longer concealing how she was feeling, hatred seeped out of her eyes.
Qiao Nian left the room and shut the door.
In the dark, a long sigh was heard.
After Qiao Nian left the room, the heat she was feeling had taken over her limbs.
She was brought up to be a gentlewoman and has always followed the rules of how “proper won” should behave. Normally, she never touched a single drop of alcohol.
So she thought it was the alcohol that was making her feel the way she was feeling.
After all, Qiao Qing had been taken care of, right? Qiao Nian comforted herself.
As she walked, she tripped and almost fell to the ground.
Xu Yingying was looking for her. When she saw her stumble, she ran over.
“Niannian, what’s wrong?”
Qiao Nian shook her head, “I’m fine, just tipsy. Did you do what I asked?”
Xu Yingying said, “It’s done. Young Master Gao is on his way.”
The corner of Qiao Nian’s lips lifted. She was about to ask Xu Yingying to help her go back to her room when she saw a demonically beautiful man walk over from the other end of the hall.
Qiao Nian’s heart skipped a beat as she pushed Xu Yingying’s hand away, “Yingying, you go ho first. Don’t forget to tell the TV reporters to co over tomorrow morning. Also, I want to stay here tonight. Let my mom know.”
