"GOAL!! Suker!!"

"After a series of probing attacks, Milan takes the lead with a brilliant long-range strike from Suker!"

"Suker's scoring efficiency remains top-notch. His goal gives Milan a precious ho lead!"

"And now the pressure is on Roma!"

Aldo Serena had just finished speaking when he quickly plugged his ears.

Sure enough, a thunderous cheer erupted beside him.

Crudeli raised his arms and shouted excitedly:

"Suker! Suker! The unstoppable Suker! This is the Croatian super striker, Milan's guarantee for goals!"

"Even from the attacking midfield position, he still poses a huge threat."

"Look at Chivu's sluggish movent. Suker gave a simple touch and easily left him behind."

"Milan scores before halfti!"

Cruciani raised both arms: "No one can stop Suker! No one!"

On the pitch, the entire stadium erupted with Suker's goal.

Milan fans stood up, raising their arms in celebration.

Tens of thousands of cheers and the jumping of fans made the entire stadium feel like it was experiencing an earthquake.

Suker stood near the stands, becoming the center of attention.

"The one who scored for us is number 10!"

"Suker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!——"

The Milan fans roared his na, echoing throughout the stadium.

In the press area, cara flashes went off in a frenzy, all aid at Suker.

This young Croatian had beco the brightest rising star in Serie A.

"Amazing!"

Simunic ran from afar to join the celebration.

Simunic had changed.

Gone were the days of a muddled life. Since the Croatian national team began improving and he joined Milan, his career had new direction.

Whether with the national team or club, having Suker as a teammate was a huge advantage.

It seed like ever since he played on the sa team as Suker, they hadn't lost a single match.

Milan's goal put Roma under imnse pressure.

Especially Totti.

He had been running actively up front all ga, worried that Milan would score first and take control.

But despite all his effort, that's exactly what happened.

Suker seed unstoppable. Totti knew how good his teammates on defense, like Chivu, were.

And yet, they still couldn't stop Suker.

That was incredibly frustrating.

"Don't lose hope! I can score!"

Totti shouted to boost morale.

At this point, that was all he could do. This season, Roma often relied on Totti's brilliance to win.

They drew with Inter this way, and even beat Lyon in the Champions League.

But this ti, they were up against a player who was in even better form—Suker.

Milan players returned to their half after celebrating.

Roma players silently walked to their side, ready to restart.

They were trailing now—an undeniable fact. And they needed to equalize.

Roma hadn't given up. They wanted more glory—like a league title.

To achieve that, they had to get past Milan.

"I'll mark Suker!"

De Rossi volunteered.

Totti paused briefly.

De Rossi was a strong asset in attack, but there wasn't a better choice to mark Suker.

"He's yours then," Totti said.

De Rossi nodded firmly.

From then on, Suker had a shadow.

Wherever Suker went, De Rossi followed.

"Aren't you supposed to be attacking?"

Suker pointed ahead, where Totti was trying to break through. He hinted De Rossi was out of place.

But De Rossi ignored him, silently sticking close.

Suker sighed.

He had experienced tight marking before in his career.

But this challenge was different—this was Serie A, and his shadow was De Rossi.

"Suker!"

Seedorf tried to send a pass forward.

Suker turned his body, ready to run.

But Seedorf faked it and passed the other way.

Suker looked up and saw De Rossi and Cassetti closing in like a pincer. If the ball ca, he'd be trapped.

Even with great footwork, tight marking made it hard to perform.

Seedorf made the right call. Suker moved to an open space, but De Rossi still stuck to him like a ghost.

So, Suker walked toward the wing.

Kaká moved to the center and began directing the attack.

"With Suker closely marked, Kaká becos Milan's key playmaker," said Aldo Serena.

"Though Suker is the offensive core, Kaká has delivered many assists this season and leads the assist chart. Between them, Milan owns both the top scorer and top assist rankings!"

Just then, Kaká dribbled past several players and burst into the right side of the penalty area.

He suddenly stopped. Panucci slipped and failed to keep up. Kaká took advantage and squeezed in, firing with his left foot.

Boom!

The ball was saved by Doni, and xès cleared it.

The ball flew back toward Milan's half. Just as it was about to drop, Gattuso lunged forward and headed it to Pirlo—Milan retained possession.

Seeing this, Roma players who had hoped to counterattack quickly fell back.

Pirlo looked at the dense defense and considered passing back.

But he and Suker exchanged a glance.

Suker made a lateral move, and De Rossi followed tightly.

Then, Pirlo suddenly played a forward pass.

Suker instantly accelerated, gained half a step, and controlled the ball. He shifted his body and used his left arm to shield De Rossi while turning to face the goal.

De Rossi looked serious.

Suker tried to advance. De Rossi cautiously closed in.

As Suker feinted a sideways dribble, De Rossi moved in and stretched his leg. Suker pulled back the ball.

Just when Suker thought he was past, De Rossi grabbed his shirt, pulling him down.

The whistle blew.

The referee awarded Milan a free kick in front.

"Nice one!"

Pirlo ca up and patted Suker on the head.

Suker got up and ran into the penalty area for the set piece.

Suker, Kaká, and Ronaldo were Milan's aerial threats, with Seedorf and Gattuso lurking outside.

Pirlo asured the distance and didn't shoot—he lofted it into the box.

Chaos ensued.

Everyone looked up, ready to jump.

Suker charged to the spot, battling Chivu. Neither could get a clean touch.

But Kaká found space and leapt—a powerful header!

The ball hit the ground and bounced into the goal.

Minute 43, just before halfti, Milan scored again.

"Kaká!!! A brilliant header! He tid it perfectly during the duel between Suker and Chivu to score and double the lead!"

"AC Milan leads Roma 2–0 at halfti!" shouted Aldo Serena.

Before he could even plug his ears, Crudeli was already yelling.

"Kaká!!!!!!!!!!! Son of God!! What a flawless performance!"

"With Suker marked, Kaká beca Milan's attacking spearhead. These two young stars have delivered two vital goals, giving us a big advantage!"

At San Siro, Kaká smiled and ran to the corner flag to celebrate.

He made a heart shape with his hands over his chest, then waved with passion.

Before he could enjoy his mont of glory, Suker rushed over and vigorously ruffled Kaká's hair, ssing it up like a bird's nest.

Pirlo crouched behind Kaká, tugging on his pants—but couldn't move him.

Kaká turned and said softly:

"What are you trying to do?"
