Ever since the Death Eaters launched a massive attack at Hogwarts and successfully expelled the nail left by the Order of the Phoenix called "Dumbledore's Army", this ancient magic school has gradually been controlled by Snape.

Especially with the case of the owner of the Pig's Head Bar who was implicated, the professors, who originally had different thoughts, had to choose to lie low to avoid bringing trouble to themselves and others.

After no one caused trouble, Hogwarts gradually returned to its forr peace, but the young headmaster was not happy about it, because he knew very well that this was the calm before the storm.

"I thought you would take the opportunity to break away from the Death Eaters."

Looking at Draco who ca to visit him for help, Snape's expression was particularly gloomy.

Why can't I see clearly?

"Sir, you..."

Malfoy opened his mouth slightly, surprised by Snape's attitude on this matter. Snape seed to be very reluctant for him to return to the Death Eaters.

"You are neither qualified nor suitable." Snape interrupted Malfoy. "Joining the Death Eaters can indeed bring glory and status, but these are not what the Malfoy family lacks now. I think you should understand."

Malfoy was silent, and subconsciously grabbed his arm, holding tightly the Dark Mark branded on his arm.

Of course he knew what Snape ant, but he was unwilling to give up.

"Recently, many Death Eaters have been disqualified. I know you are facing the sa problem, but your age and ability do not give you any advantage over other Death Eaters. Instead of forcing your way in, you might as well do what you should do."

"What should I do?" Draco gave an ugly bitter smile.

"Yes, that's what you should do."

Snape would rather his old friend's children stay away from the storm than get out and then be sucked back in, which would be a very stupid thing to do.

Malfoy was depressed for not getting Snape's support, but he was also unwilling to lose his hard-earned status as a Death Eater, as that ant that the Malfoy family would beco a laughing stock in the pure-blood circle.

A similar thing had happened not long ago, so Malfoy ran to Snape to discuss it in such a hurry, but the result made him extrely disappointed.

After Draco Malfoy left dejectedly, soone knocked on the headmaster's office door again.

"Co in."

Snape withdrew his gaze from the fireplace and looked at Alecto who walked in from outside.

"I thought you would help the little guy, but I didn't expect you to be so cruel and refuse." Alecto looked his old friend up and down as if he was eting him for the first ti.

"It seems that the Malfoy family is destined to beco a laughing stock."

"Don't force yourself to stay if you don't have the ability. Otherwise, you will only harm Draco." Snape said in a businesslike manner, "You probably don't want to see your old friend..."

"If that guy is really my old friend, I would probably help that little guy." Alecto shrugged and reminded, "You probably don't know how many people want to beco Death Eaters nowadays. Do you think it's a good idea to persuade Malfoy to give up?"

"At least Draco will survive." Snape said expressionlessly.

"You don't sound like a coward like this." Alecto sneered rcilessly, "If he cos to , I will help him."

"I hope you won't take it upon yourself to interfere with my arrangents with Draco." Snape stared at Alecto with a warning look.

"He may not like your arrangent."

"You must have sothing else to talk to about?" Snape didn't want to continue talking about this topic. If he really wanted to help Draco, he would naturally have a way, but he still hoped that his old friend's child could jump out of this big pit in ti to avoid falling into it with others.

"The Dark Lord seems to be planning sothing, and he needs to lead the team away from England for a while." Alecto actually ca to say goodbye to Snape. After all, they had been getting along well during this period.

"Why didn't I receive any notification?" Snape frowned.

"Maybe Yaxley is too busy and hasn't inford you yet."

Alecto did know sothing and didn't mind sharing it with Snape. Snape would know it sooner or later anyway, so it wouldn't be bad to do him a favor.

"Many Death Eaters will leave with . Yaxley is worrying about how to control the Ministry of Magic."

"As long as the Dark Lord is around, I don't think those people in the Ministry of Magic have the courage to resist." It's not that Snape looked down on them, but that group of people really had no backbone.

"If it were in the past, I would definitely agree with what you said, but it is different now. Tis have changed, Severus." After greeting Snape, Alecto turned around and prepared to leave.

"Do you know what the Dark Lord wants to do?" Snape couldn't help asking, looking at Alecto's back.

He always felt that sothing big was about to happen, otherwise Voldemort would not continue to gather people from Britain.

"Yaxley didn't tell , and I don't think he knows either." Alecto had no idea what Voldemort was going to do, so he guessed, "Perhaps the Dark Lord intends to control the International Confederation of Wizards, or even other European countries."

"Definitely not. The Dark Lord should be well aware that dragging other countries into this will only increase the number of enemies and will not bring any benefit to us."

After making sure Alecto had left, Snape turned to discuss the matter with the portrait of Dumbledore, who was pretending to sleep.

"Maybe, there is sothing more important than that."

Dumbledore never thought that Voldemort was capable of stupidity, at least not about certain things.

"Sothing more important?"

Snape frowned, as if he had thought of sothing, and murmured, "Could it be that the Dark Lord has found Anderson's whereabouts and plans to mobilize the Death Eaters to surround and kill him?"

In Snape's heart, Albert Anderson occupies an important position in Voldemort's heart, almost replacing the original Dumbledore.

"It shouldn't be. Mr. Anderson is very cautious and will definitely not let anyone know his whereabouts easily." Dumbledore thought of the Elder Wand. Perhaps Voldemort controlled the International Confederation of Wizards just to use its power to find the so-called "Death Wand."

If that were the case, his old friend would probably be in great danger.

Moreover, Snape was completely unaware of this, which shows that Voldemort was subconsciously guarding against Snape.

"Do you know sothing?"

Snape always felt that Dumbledore was hiding sothing important from him.

"I suspect the You-Know-Who is looking for the Death Stick." Dumbledore had no intention of hiding this from Snape.

"Death stick? I thought the Dark Lord took your wand."

Snape had always believed that the wand used by Dumbledore was the legendary Death Wand, the Elder Wand.
