Three hours after defeating the monster known as Baphot, I finally regained my consciousness.

In the center of the place where the fierce fight against Baphot had taken place, there was a staircase-like structure extending from all four directions, and at the top of the staircase were two treasure chests.

The first treasure chest had [Three S-rank Magic Stones], and the second one had [Horn of Baphot]. Let's use them later to create a grimoire. Anyway, I wasn't worn out, and I didn't think I would be able to continue the exploration up ahead.

The chanical woman's voice seed to be saying sothing about releasing the second stage, so I'd check it out later.

After the trial was over, the final point of the 50th floor had now turned into a safe point, so I teleported from there to Sagami Co.

And as I thought, just as I lay down on the bed, my consciousness abruptly cut off like a machine after its switch was turned off.

In the early morning of the next day, I began performing my daily routine of researching magic weapons, which I had gotten into recently.

After learning about it for a while with Leroy, to whom I frequently visited for this, I had now more or less understood the large part. And I had also confird so fatal flaws in the manufacturing of magical weapons.

That was, the shape and strength of the tals making up the body of a weapon had been adjusted up until now to draw out the highest level of efficiency from a magic ore.

In other words, the weapon's body was adjusted according to the content of the magic ore. But most of the ti, blacksmiths weren't magicians. It was impossible for such a blacksmith, who was rely an amateur in the field of magic, to adjust the armor to match the magic ore.

To be specific, a magician would have to make so adjustnts to match with the weapon made by the blacksmith. And for that sake, it was necessary to analyse the ore called magic stone.

A magic ore was a stone that could be activated by carving runes of a certain magic rune and adding magic power.

As a result of the analysis, it turned out that this mysterious stone possessed the property of converting chanting into text and using it as a substitute for chanting to activate.

To put it simply, if the magic so far was [Voice Magic], then it was correct to say this magic weapon could be called [Language Magic]. The magic ore was the material that made this "language magic" possible.

Of course, this stone that could be synonymous with a lump of miracle wasn't sothing that could be readily available. But it ca from the mines and was said to be the most precious stone in this world.

Therefore, it was quite difficult to procure them as the research material. But in the end, I could obtain enough magic ores for my research through Lainer's introduction.

I'd always thought that magic stones would contribute to the developnt of magic. The reason was they were the materials used to create grimoires, and in this world, they were used as catalysts for various kinds of magic. It would be natural to assu that there was a certain relationship with this magic ore.

As a result of researching the magic stone, I discovered that the higher the purity of the magic ore, the more similar its properties were to magic stones. After discovering this fact, the research on magic ores had rapidly progressed.

And just the other day, I'd discovered that if you boiled several magic stones at 1500-1600 degrees Celsius for about an hour, they dissolved and mixed together to form a mineral equivalent to ultra-pure magic ores.

In short, magic ore was a mixture of magic stones and tals such as iron, and the higher the percentage of the magic stones, the higher the purity of the magic ore. Anyway, it effectively made mass production of magic ore possible.

The current pressing matter was how to sublimate this magic core into a magic weapon. In this regard, I tried to carve magic runes into magic ore and then forge it, but it made the effectiveness of the runes null.

On the contrary, when I carved the magic runes in the already available weapon, it did maintain its nature as a magic weapon, but its power was reduced to several grades. In addition, to activate it, you needed to keep putting magic power into it.

If the power was reduced and you had to put the magic power in by yourself, it would be faster to use magic. In that case, it would be aningless.

I concentrated my consciousness and sent magic power into the dagger I had made from magic ore while chanting, and the dagger glowed while letters were engraved on it. Once the magical runes were engraved, they were fixed and could not be modified afterwards. This was one of the most important properties I had recently discovered.

It was complete.

I went to the second training room on the outskirts of Straheim and imdiately decided to conduct a demonstration. I had made five weapons. A dagger, a long sword, a knuckle, a spear, and a short sword.

The dagger and spear were carved with [Wind Enchantnt] to increase power; the knuckle and long sword were engraved with [Fire Pillar], and the short sword was engraved with [Fireball] to hurl fire.

It's still not good in the end.

The power had been reduced to about half of what it normally was. Above all, the user must store magic power in it. In the deadly struggle where life and death could be decided in one second, it wasn't usable at all.

"No good... My Lord, do you even know how valuable that weapon is?"

Leroy, who was standing behind and was observing the experint, asked in a stunned voice.

"Things like that can only be used as toys."

The one who made them wasn't Leroy, but . The weapon craftsmanship itself wasn't sothing I could complint.

"And that toy will be priced at tens of millions of gold outside."

"Don't joke around."

"The fact that you really think it's a joke is what makes you scary. Well, whatever, it's definitely interesting. I will also try one."

"I'm glad to hear that. Forging tal is sothing that I, as an amateur, can't do."

Shrugging his shoulder and letting out a big sigh, Leroy left the room.

That's right. It was about ti for to go to class too.

I put the completed magic weapon toy in my item box, then teleported to the classroom, where the students were waiting for .
