Daya’s heart panicked, and she rushed past him into the kitchen.

“Yeah.”

“What about hiring workers?”

This is Yu’s house, and a grand one at that, so naturally, Lu Erbai doesn’t want any trouble. He’d prefer everything to go smoothly so they could move in sooner.
This is also why he wanted to find people from Shangshi Village; he’s familiar with everyone there – who is diligent, who has certain skills, who has conflicts with whom – he knows it all clearly.
But the timing was not favorable.
Craftsman Zheng only needed two or three people for his current work. He had considered starting a team in the past, but after the incident that happened, he’s been getting less work, with short-term projects.
At most, other foren lacking labor might ask for his help.
